We Love Eyes Review

Does anyone else get tired of using coconut oil to remove your eye makeup?!  I know I do.  I always find it makes my eyes cloudy afterwards too.  So I was just a wee excited to try We love eyes.  What is it?  A natural eye makeup remover that not only removes all eye makeup, but leaves dry eyes moisturized, and helps fight bacteria.  Let me back up a bit.  This stellar product was created by an optometrist, Dr. Tanya Gill…yeah you heard me right, this woman knows her eyes!  After 15 years of treating dry eyes, itchy eyes, and just irritated eyes in general, she knew she needed to create something to bring relief.  She realized the products on the market were actually contributing to the problem-not helping.  This led her to make We love eyes, and well you can say the rest is history.  Made with only natural ingredients, that don’t cause irritation, but actually nourish the eye area.   The product speaks for itself.  I just love that the products were created by someone that knows eyes, I mean how cool is that?!

Say hello to your new eye makeup removing regimen…

Eyelid & Eyelash Makeup Remover Oil-

I tried two different products one is a foaming cleanser and the other is an oil.  Let’s chat about the oil first.  This oil is just plain wonderful.  I apply a few drops to my ring finger(the least amount of muscles, so it doesn’t tug on the delicate eye area), and rub in circular motions, loosening all my eye makeup.  I then use an organic bamboo pad from Marley Monsters(these are amazing) to remove the makeup residue.  I don’t rinse off until after I use the foaming cleanser below.  The smell is more tea tree, than herbal, which is how the foaming cleanser smells to me.  It’s not overwhelming, just a nice fresh smell.  A little goes a long way too.  I love that it comes in a glass dropper bottle!  It removed my eye makeup so easily, they didn’t feel dry at all.  If you want to apply it to a cotton pad first you totally can, I just preferred to put it on my hand and then wipe off with a pad.  With only 3 ingredients, this oil gets the job done.  $26

Eyelid and Eyelash Foaming Remover-

Ok, now onto the second part of the regimen, the foaming cleanser.  As the name suggests, it’s foaming, you just pump a few squirts out, and rub all over your eye.  I use my ring finger to rub it in as well.  After several circular swirls of rubbing I rinse off with water.  There is no irritation or stinging…holla!  I love using this after the oil because it gets rid of any excess oil and gives my skin, and eye area, an overall clean feeling.  Plus, I can be sure that every last drop of makeup is removed.  It smells a little more herbal to me, not bad at all, I really like it.  I think it’s the honeysuckle in it.  A super clean and refreshing smell.  $28

The reason We love eyes uses tea tree oil in their products is because it cleans the eye area so well and fights bacteria.  If you wear contacts you should always remove them before using the products.  Also, if you use waterproof mascara these products will work for you too.  For eyelash extensions, don’t use any of the oils, as they will remove your lash extensions.  Instead use the foaming cleanser.  I highly recommend both of these products for people who suffer from dry eyes, eye infections or just want a really great system for removing your eye makeup, with zero stinging.

I have been using coconut oil forever to remove my make up and complete know the cloudy eye syndrome! I just placed an order and can’t wait to try this out! After I ordered, I realized that I have all the ingredients for the oil blend, organic jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, and super pure tea tree oil. I might give that a try tonight for the make up and see how it does. I am looking forward to a gentle foaming cleanser though. My eyes have been so dry, hoping this new combo would make a difference. Thanks for the recommendation! 🙂

I have used all of the We Love Eyes products and they are great. My favorite is the regular Tee Tree Oil, mostly because I don’t wear as much eye makeup as I used to. When I do though I use the foaming cleanser. Works great!
