Is it just me or does the Glowing Beet’s Box just keep getting better and better each month?! I’m thrilled to be a brand ambassador, and be a part of such a fun and mindful box. If you haven’t heard about Glowing Beets yet, allow me to bring you up to speed.
Why Glowing Beets? Well, for starters they include high quality indie brands and they make it so simple. Their website alone is so easy to navigate and browse. They have one box, it’s $29.95-a steal for high end green beauty products. The boxes are all the same, but may vary slightly. For ex. some boxes may get a different lipstick color, but they’re all from the same brand. All boxes are shipped at the end of the month once you’re a subscriber, and if you order during the month it will be shipped out within a few days, up until the 15th of the month. You can sign up for one box, otherwise you will be billed monthly.
I love the concept of Glowing Beets for those who are new to the green beauty scene. They give you a good selection of products, so you’re able to test them out without making a big commitment at first. They also offer special discounts to those brands if you do like them-how cool is that?! Glowing Beets does the research for the best product so you don’t have too. They include a card in each box that lists what the products are. I have received two boxes from them and I’ve loved each of them!
Let’s get on to the review!
I reviewed Metta a while back and if you read it, you know I’m a huge fan of this stuff! I love how it came in a small travel sized container-how perfect for trips! This looks like a butter but when you apply it, it turns into an oil. It leaves my hands feeling so moisturized and soft-a definite must have in your beauty regimen! $47
A girl can never have too many lip balms-am I right? This one is particularly moisturizing. It doesn’t smell like anything specific, just shea butter. It doesn’t feel heavy either, which I like. I can apply any lip color after and it goes on smoothly. A great lip balm all around! $12
You all know I’m a huge fan of Gia Minerals, and this bronzer is no exception. I love that it came in a smaller container, again perfect for travel. It also imparts a nice shimmer with the bronze color. A little goes a long way, so this will last a while. Check out all Gia’s products-love them! $25
Wow, super impressed with these hydrosols. Wildcare means business! Their ingredients are organic, and the herbs are some of the best. I love that it comes in a glass bottle too. Besides being perfect for your skin after cleansing, it’s also great for sunburns, as lavender is very soothing. $18
Who doesn’t want to get chocolate in their beauty box?! Especially when it’s organic, fair trade and just tastes delicious. Sign me up! If you haven’t tried any of Alter Ego’s treats, you’re missing out. They have organic truffles that are just divine! $3.99
Ok, let’s first talk about scent, this oil smells insanely good! It’s their lemongrass and mint scent. Once you apply the oil it literally melts into your skin-no greasy residue at all! It’s pretty amazing! It’s not a heavy oil-actually more on the lighter side. Did I mention the packaging yet? Well, it’s drool worthy for sure. It comes in this vintage glass bottle that looks so chic. I’m definitely just putting this on my vanity after I’m finished using it. It’s the perfect size for travel too. Trust me, you guys will love this! $30
Wow, this is a serious winner! Trust me, I know I sound like a broken record, but the March box was off the chain. This cheek/lip tint is perfection. I love that it comes in a tube, so easy to use. I just dab a little on my cheeks and blend in. It gives me the perfect pop of color and looks so natural. Not to mention my cheeks look dewy and moist. For the lips, same thing-adds a touch of poppy color. Everyone needs this! It’s so small and cute, plus who doesn’t love a two for one?! $16
I’ve been testing several other LilFox products, and have been so impressed with them. I haven’t tried the Eye Butter, and was so excited to sample it. It isn’t a cream or an oil-sort of a mix of both. It looks like a balm when you open it, and then when you apply it, it turns into an oil. I like that it’s not super heavy. It smells like a mix of lavender, frankincense, and vanilla. I love that all their products are organic, and come in sleek black glass. So chic! I’m excited to continue using this-a serious eye treat. $52
Well just say hello to your favorite lip scrub ever! No joke, this stuff is just plain wonderful. I use a lip scrub on the daily. I have lips you guys, and this time of year if I don’t exfoliate they aren’t smooth. I usually just use a diy one, but this has been amazing. What makes it so great? The consistency is grainy, but not too grainy. The sugar crystals are small enough that they don’t get everywhere, and actually exfoliate, opposed to larger sugar crystals. It has the perfect amount of oils blended in with it too. I apply it on damp lips, and then use a wash cloth to gently exfoliate them. My lips not only are smooth, but so soft afterwards. *Keep checking their site-coming soon!
