Glowing Beet’s April Box Review

I was so excited to see some of my faves in April’s Glowing Beet’s Box!  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this box just gets better and better!

Why Glowing Beets?  Well, for starters they include high quality indie brands and they make it so simple.  Their website alone is so easy to navigate and browse.  They have one box, it’s $29.95-a steal for high end green beauty products.  The boxes are all the same, but may vary slightly.  For ex. some boxes may get a different lipstick color, but they’re all from the same brand.  All boxes are shipped at the end of the month once you’re a subscriber, and if you order during the month it will be shipped out within a few days, up until the 15th of the month.  You can sign up for one box, otherwise you will be billed monthly.

I love the concept of Glowing Beets for those who are new to the green beauty scene.  They give you a good selection of products, so you’re able to test them out without making a big commitment at first.  They also offer special discounts to those brands if you do like them-how cool is that?!  Glowing Beets does the research for the best product so you don’t have too.  They include a card in each box that lists what the products are.  I have received two boxes from them and I’ve loved each of them!

Let’s get on to the review!

Zoe Organics Everything Balm-

This balm really melts right into your skin, leaving behind the smell of lavender and vanilla.  It’s more of a barrier or shield than a greasy balm.  It leaves my skin moisturized and for a while.  I have this in my purse at all times.  I’ve used it on my daughter’s diaper rashes, my hands and even this weird rash I had on my neck for a while, (don’t ask).  The name really does describe it well, it does a little of everything.  I’ve even used it on my lips.  You all need one of these!  Bonus, you can find this at Target.  Use coupon code: GGG20 for 20% online at  $14

Zoe Organics Cream-

What can’t you use this cream for?  It comes in a jar and is thicker than the Everything Balm.  This stuff is for the severely dry skin, think eczema.  I’ve used it on my daughter wherever there is a dry patch and on myself too.  It’s so hydrating!  It has no water or fillers, just the pure stuff.  If you’re looking for ultra hydration, this is it.  $18

Zoe Organics Breathe Balm-

Have a cold or cough?  This is perfect for bringing some relief, and helping you breathe easier.  It has organic essential oils of eucalyptus, lavender, tea tree and cedar.  Perfect for rubbing on chest, back and soles of feet to help relieve cold and flu symptoms.  The minute you open the container the smell awakens your senses!  $14

Buckaroo Organics Soapberry Laundry Detergent-

I love this detergent!  It really works and is completely natural-what more could you ask for?  I love the whole concept of using soap nuts.  For one they aren’t nuts, but are actually a berry from a tree, how much more natural can you get?!  They’re a sustainable resource and grown organically easily, they’re great for sensitive skin and hypoallergenic.  Not to mention they’re 100% bio-degradeable, and completely safe for water systems.  If you’re not sold yet, they actually use less water than conventional detergent, are safe for front loading washers, and they cost less per load too.  They’re just a pretty amazing little berry!!  How does it actually clean your clothes?  It takes the saponin contained in the husk of the natural berry, and uses that to wash and get rid of dirt.  Yes, even my husband’s stinky workout clothes smell good!  My clothes smell fresh, not artificial and they are clean.  I’m addicted to this stuff and almost out- it really is some good stuff.   $9.95

Erth Mineral Eyeshadow/Eyeshadow Brush-

I’ve never tried any of Erth Mineral’s makeup before, and was excited to get their eyeshadow in my box.  It came in the color Earth, a light earth brown with pearlescent flecks in it.  The perfect spring and summer color.  It is a loose eyeshadow, and goes on smooth and pigmented.  I love the feel of it when it’s going on!  Haha, sounds weird but the consistency is really smooth.  I also received their firm eyeshadow brush, perfect for applying the shadow in the crease just right. To receive a 20% discount on any Erth Minerals purchase, please use discount at checkout: glowing. Discount is valid through May 31, 2016.   $9 eyeshadow $8 eyeshadow brush

Suntegrity Skincare Lip C.P.R.-

I received two small samples of the Suntegrity’s Lip tints, one in Sable Shade- a velvety warm brown and the other in Sunset Coral-a crimson orange.  The consistency is so smooth and hydrating.  I love that their gluten free and dairy free, great for those with allergies.  They contain an spf of 30, using zinc oxide.  Infused with Lip Repair Lipids and Konjac Root Wrinkle-Filling Spheres to visibly reduce the look of fine lines(according to their website).  The perfect spring and summer lip stick!  Not only do you get some fresh fun color, but you’re protecting your lips at the same time.  I want to try all their colors!  $28
