All About Eyebrows

They say eyes are the windows to the soul, well if that’s true then eyebrows are pretty important.  I mean hello… they’re framing your eyes!  We want those babies in tip top shape.  I notice people’s eyebrows right away, it’s one of the first things I see.  I often want to go up to people and fix them when I see them…(whoops, honest confession).  I want to fill them in if they’re over plucked, or shape them if they’re not shaped correctly.  When I went green, finding an eyebrow filler was a tough job, but I’ve come up with three standouts.  I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to pick one of the three.  From a powder, pencil, and a cream, I got you all covered!

Jane Iredale Bitty Brow Kit-

1270

This little kit packs a punch.  It comes with three little brushes, plus a colored powder, and a clear wax to keep your brows in place. If you’re looking for the most natural brow this is your baby.  It’s a powder eyebrow liner versus a pencil.  It offers some light pigment but nothing crazy.  It comes in two colors, blonde and brunette.  If you have black eyebrows, it may be hard to use this, just because the color might be too light.  It’s really easy to use, and very forgiving.  If you’re just starting out filling in your brows this would be a good option for you.  Oh and it also colors grey in eyebrows! I love the wax for keeping any unruly hairs in place.  $29

Couleur Caramel Eyebrow Pencil-

This is a pencil liner.  It’s nice because it comes with a little spoodle on the end of the pencil, great for blending the color in.  This is a step up from powder for eyebrows, a little less forgiving if you’re new at eyebrow defining.  However, don’t get scared, it’s super blendable.  I would outline my eyebrow where I needed a little more pigment, and then starting at the base of my eyebrow I would use the spoodle end to blend the color into my brows.  It lasts the whole day and literally the pencil lasts forever!  It comes in three colors, blonde, light brown and brown.  $19

EcoBrow-

This is my current fave when it comes to eyebrow defining!  I was so excited to get an eyebrow product that was so creamy and a wax.  It goes on like a cream liner you would use on your eyes, yet it’s super blendable.  That being said it can be easy to get heavy handed with it, since it’s so pigmented and creamy.  For me I found it’s easier to get that precise definition that I love with the EcoBrow.  My eyebrows have always been pretty dark, but a little sparse in the front corners.  This offers me great pigment to fill in the sparse areas, but not look like Cleopatra.  It comes in four shades, they even have one for red heads, which is hard to find!  They are named after hollywood icons, the blonde/lightbrown is Marilyn, red/auburn is Rita, brown/medium brown is Penelope (What I wear) and the dark brown/black color is  Liz.  I still line my eye first, and then use a spoodle to blend them in.  This also covers any grey hairs!   $26

Have you tried any of these?  What’s your fave eyebrow definer?  I would love to hear, leave me a comment!
