I was so excited when Eco Piggy sent me some natural kid’s products to review. Since having my daughter I’ve been even more conscious of everything around us. So many children’s products/toys are plastic and made with chemicals. Thankfully, this is not the case with Ecopiggy. Instead of plastic spoons they offer bamboo, instead of plastic sippy cups, they sale stainless steel ones. As you can imagine, I really love their whole philosophy! Isn’t their name so cute too?! They offer everything from stainless steel lunch boxes, fabric snack bags, to non-toxic/no smell kid nail polish. It’s a one stop shop for all things baby/kid. But the kicker is it’s all clean and natural! They even have a blog that’s full of recipes and fun activities for kids. They sent me 3 different products, but I’m already planning what else I need to get!
Ecolunchpod-
I have loved using this little lunch pod. It’s perfect for snacks that won’t fit in a circular container. It also fits in a reusable lunch bag so easily. I’ve been filling mine with blueberries, nuts, and veggies. It’s nice having a hard shell container like this, opposed to a bag. It helps keep fruit from getting smashed. I love how easy it is to clean too! There wasn’t any weird smell either from the stainless steel. My daughter is such a hungry hippo these days and she always is wanting to eat! This is the perfect solution for on the go snacks. I need another 10 of them, ha! $8.
Insulated Sippy Bottle-
This has been the biggest game changer for my daughter! It came at the perfect time. She was over her smaller glass sippy cup, and when I gave her this she loved it. I was so relieved. As most moms can attest, kids like things one minute, and then a few weeks later they’re over it. Not the case with this, she happily drinks out of it all the time. I feel less cautious about this bottle too, compared to her last one, since it’s not glass. If it drops oh well! Another great feature, it will keep things warm and cool for up to 6 hours. They are also the only 100% plastic-free insulated bottle on the market-pretty cool! The sippy part is made out of 100% food grade silicone. Ok, if you aren’t convinced that this is the coolest kid gadget, let me tell you one more thing. So the bottle evolves as the baby grows. In the beginning it can be a bottle, then as they get older, you just take off the nipple and replace it with a sippy top, or a straw top. Oh and they even have a flat cap for when you want to use it for snacks. I know, awesome huh?! And of course, completely free of any toxins. If you are a mama, you need this, if you know someone who is, this is the perfect gift! $22.99
Reusable Baggie-
I love my little baggie! I’ve used this for so many little snacks for my daughter. It’s the perfect size to just throw some small snacks in for our walks. The inside is water resistant, so it’s easy to wipe down after use. Oh and they are all made with organic fabric…love! And they offer the cutest prints too. I need to get the larger sandwich bag, I would use it way too much. Plus, isn’t so awesome to just use the same bag over and over?! No more wasteful toxic plastic bags. $8
