It’s crazy to me how many organic, and natural skincare brands are out there these days. There really is no excuse to still be using toxic products, no excuse! I stumbled upon Malaya Organics, and have had the pleasure of sampling their decadent skincare products. I truly believe in their philosophy of skincare, it’s a whole body approach. What you put in your body, and on it directly affect each other…I couldn’t agree more. They use the purest ingredients to reduce toxic exposure, as well as care for the environment. Not only that, but all their packaging is recyclable and reusable. Pretty awesome!
Malaya really started when the founder, Katya, had teenage acne growing up. This could have scarred some people, but with Katya, it drove her on a quest to find out about skincare, the body and how it all works. What she found was answers and a beautiful natural skincare line today. Oh and P.S. her skin looks amazing now!
Well, allow me to share with you this lovely natural skincare line.
Woods Body Oil-
This oil is such a smooth and rich oil. I apply it right after I get out of the shower, and my whole body just envelops it. It quickly dissipates, and leaves my skin hydrated, but with no greasy residue. The smell is great, like a cross between a musky smell, and earthy smell-perfect for guys or gals. It’s made with essences of sandalwood, bergamot and bulgarian rose. Malaya uses a blend of many different oils, which I love. You can find, jojoba, almond, avocado, sunflower, safflower, and even rose oil in their blends. Their glass pump bottle is great and their size is awesome for travel too. Oh and of course it’s organic/wildcrafted! I also tried a travel size in the Citrus and Bloom scent and loved that as well. $68
Rejuvenating Face Serum-
This serum smells amazing, and is the perfect hydrating serum in my nighttime skincare routine. It melts into my skin and leaves it smooth and supple. I know I’ve already said it but it smells so good! It has many different essences infused in it, but the ones that stick out to me are the neroli and jasmine. My skin looked great in the morning and felt hydrated. The packaging is different than other serums I’ve seen. It comes in a glass pump dropper-so cool! This is the perfect oil for problematic skin or skin that’s been exposed to environmental damage-which let’s face it, is all of us. It has 100% active vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that deliver nutrients straight to the skin. And again all organic/wildcrafted! $65
Organic Hair Oil-
This hair oil is divine! I used it two ways, the first was on wet hair and the second was on dry hair. I noticed it to be a little more hydrating on wet hair. My hair wasn’t drenched in water when I put it on but was damp. I think the dampness helped the oil to be soaked up a little more. I left it on for several hours, and also slept in it overnight too. Both ways really hydrated and conditioned my hair. What I really liked about this oil, especially for my fine hair is that it didn’t weigh it down after using. My hair felt smooth but not greasy. If you have thicker hair, you can also use it to hydrate frizzy ends while styling. My hair is too fine for that, but a lot of curly haired or thick haired people would love it. It also smells divine! The essences that stick out to me are geranium and sandalwood. $38
Organic Bath Salts/Lavender & Vanilla-
Now these bath salts feel like pure luxury. Not only are you relaxing your body but soothing tired muscles. These salts are a unique blend of four different types of salts-himalayan sea salt, pacific sea salt, mediterranean sea salt and epsom salt. They are then infused with coconut oil, lavender oil and vanilla absolute. At the end you have a luxurious bath salt that makes you feel like your in a spa yourself. My skin felt hydrated and smooth after using them and my body felt relaxed. This is the perfect addition to anyone’s natural skincare line. You all need these! $38
Lavender Organic Lip Savior-
Last but not least their lip balm. This skinny little balm packs a punch. It goes on super smooth and leaves my skin moisturized. It’s the perfect lip balm before applying any lip color, because it isn’t heavy or gunky. The lavender smell is light but pleasant. It’s filled with nourishing ingredients like cacao butter, beeswax, castor oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and essential oils. It didn’t give me the kind of moisture at night when my lips need a little more tlc, but before makeup it was great. $12
That sums up my review of Malaya Organics natural skincare line. This is an all around great skincare line that offers quality organic products. Malaya Organics has been so kind to offer 15% off your order using code: GURLGONEGREEN. If I were you I would be snagging up some serious loot! Have you used any of their products, what are your faves?
