July Beauty Hero-Kari Gran

Beauty Heroe’s July box is here and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you guys!  Kari Gran doesn’t make a bad product-not that I’ve tried.  Did I mention they’re local?  Seattle represent!  From their skincare to their lip whips, they create quality products all around.  In this month’s box, you get their new sunscreen Three Sixty Five release, their Cleansing Oil, Hydrating Tonic and Essential Serum.  Kari Gran is described as the “Little Black Dress” of Eco-Skincare, and I can see why-they keep it simple and luxe.  Her entire line is anhydrous and formulated without a drop of water-how cool is that?!  This box contains all you need for skincare from start to finish!  If you haven’t heard of Beauty Heroes before, here’s some more info. below.

Beauty Heroes was founded by Jeannie Jarnot.  A longtime spa director herself and healthy beauty expert.  I had the pleasure of meeting Jeannie at IBE, and she is truly one of the sweetest people.  Beauty Heroes is a monthly beauty service that selects only the best clean beauty brands.  Each month you can find one to two full size truly heroic products in each box.  I absolutely love their “Use Less, Love More” philosophy.  By only getting one or two products, you allow yourself to truly experience them.  Of course you can trust their picks, as they are strict on their integrity standards.  What’s not to love about this whole concept?  I recently joined Beauty Heroes as an Ambassador, and couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of such a movement.

Kari Gran’s Three Sixty Five SPF 28 Broad Spectrum Sunscreen-

This stuff feels like silk on the skin.  It is perfect before applying your makeup.  It’s meant to be worn 365 days of the year.  My foundation literally glides on.  It really acts like a primer as well.  Filling in lines and creating an even surface.  I was so excited when I heard they were coming out with a sunscreen, and couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!  I’m in love with the ingredients too.  Non-nano zinc oxide, with non-gmo red raspberry seed oil are the sun protectants and there is only a handful of ingredients after that.  I couldn’t be more excited to finally find a sunscreen with such quality ingredients and performance!

Kari Gran’s Skincare Trio-

If you haven’t tried any of Kari Gran’s products you’re missing out…for real.  This facial travel kit is the perfect companion on a trip.  Not only does it give you a cleanser, toner and serum all in one, but they all come in glass too-my green heart just swoons over this!  Ok, back to how great the product is.  Kari Gran’s cleansing oil is the perfect oil cleanser, there I said it.  But really, it performs unlike others I’ve tried.  I start with dry skin, and then rub a small amount all over my face.  I take a warm washcloth and wipe off.  It not only takes off my face makeup, but leaves my skin hydrated and balanced.  I follow with the hydrating toner, which is the perfect follow up to the cleansing oil and before the essential serum.  The essential serum smells so good!  It has a wide range of essential oils in it, but the ones that stick out to me are ylang ylang and jasmine.  This is a great starter kit to try Kari Gran, or just to have a travel skin care kit on hand for trips.

If I were you I would snag up the recent Beauty Heroe’s box stat!  You can sign up here.  Also, be sure to check out the Beauty Heroe’s store here.  Now until July 15th they’re offering a complimentary Jokipiin Face Wash Cloth with the purchase of a Previse Nutrify Tonic.  Just enter PREVISE at checkout.  The cloths are made from organic linen from Finland!  They are over sized and work great for cleansing and exfoliating.  Don’t miss out!  Also, if you spend over $100 in the Beauty Heroe’s store you you will receive a complimentary Kari Gran Peppermint Naked Lip Whip.  For non-members and members.  Such a great gift!  I’m head over heels for my Kari Gran Lip Whips!  Have you guys tried Kari Gran before?
