Winter Wellness

afm-about1-mattIn this podcast, Dr. Matt and I are discussing Winter Wellness.  Throughout the winter it tends to be easier to get a cold, flu or some other sickness, but it doesn’t have to be.  Often times we’re pushed to go get a flu shot, yet do we really know why and does it really help?  Dr. Matt is sharing some tips to help keep your body healthy throughout the cold season.  Plus, he’s sharing what to do if sickness comes knocking.  He’s even dishing tips on what to do if your child suffers with chronic earaches.  You don’t want to miss this one!  Also, be sure to check out past podcasts you may have missed.  As always be sure to subscribe on my blog homepage.

I loved all the good info in this one! You spent a lot of time discussing the flu shot and the potential detriment to the body and questionable effectiveness. Is there any possibility that you might do a full episode all about vaccines?? I know it is a hot button topic, but there is so much beneficial information about how they are supposed to work, what ingredients are actually in them, and the possible cost/benefit ratio that would be so interesting to hear Dr. Matt’s perspective and insight! Just a wishful thought!

I agree I really enjoyed this podcast with all of the helpful information! Elizabeth, I actually just read on Suzi’s latest post ‘Life Changing Books’ several of Dr. Matt’s book recommendations at the bottom of the page and on that list is a book called ‘The Vaccine Friendly Plan’, it’s an amazing book filled with so much knowledge and information about vaccines, what is in vaccines, and medications and other such ingredients to avoid. You can read a few pages on amazon if you want to get an idea about what is in it. I highly recommend it! I agree I would love a podcast about vaccines as well, but until then I think that book would be a great resource.
