Beauty Heroes Axiology Makeup Discovery

GIDDY… that’s the word that comes to mind when I think of this Beauty Heroes Makeup Discovery.  I was literally so excited when I opened the box this month!  Now, that means something coming from a beauty blogger- you guys know I get a ton of product.  But this month, wasn’t just another product, it was Axiology Lipsticks!  I haven’t found a higher performing, cleaner, sustainable lipstick.  This stuff takes the cake!  Before I get  into this stellar company and these lipsticks, let me first tell you about Beauty Hereos below.  If you already know the 411 on BH, then keep reading, but if you don’t I recommend you read up, so you don’t miss out on this “IT” green beauty box.

Beauty Heroes was founded by Jeannie Jarnot.  A longtime spa director herself and healthy beauty expert.  I had the pleasure of meeting Jeannie at IBE, and she is truly one of the sweetest people.  Beauty Heroes is a monthly beauty service that selects only the best clean beauty brands.  Each month you can find one to two full size truly heroic products in each box.  The products typically range from skincare to haircare products.  However, every 3 months Beauty Heroes offers a makeup box as well that’s optional for members or non-members.  I absolutely love their “Use Less, Love More” philosophy.  By only getting one or two products, you allow yourself to truly experience them.  Of course you can trust their picks, as they are strict on their integrity standards.  What’s not to love about this whole concept?  As a Beauty Heroes Ambassador, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of such a movement.

So let’s dive into this makeup discovery- Axiology.

The Lipstick Lowdown-

Ok, these lipsticks are just lovely.  Every aspect of the lipstick from the way the application glides on like butter, to the moisturizing formula, the subtle scent of citrus, to the chic packaging, no detail is spared when it comes to Axiology lipsticks- none.  Let’s first start with the formula.  The lipsticks are made with 10 organic/wildcrafted ingredients.  There’s no bleeding or feathering, you get smooth application each time with lasting hydration.  Instead of using beeswax to keep the long lasting lip color, they use avocado butter and candelilla wax.  Literally you read the ingredient list and it’s all things you understand- I love it.

Can I talk about the packaging?!  SO chic!  They come in gold cases, that pop the lipstick up when you push on the bottom of the case.  It doesn’t get cooler than that.  Even their paper packaging the gold cases come in are made in Bali from recycled trash?  Yes, they’re just next level!

The lipsticks and lip crayons are offered in three different intensities- matte, cream and balm.  This month Axiology and Beauty Heroes teamed up to offer 3 different collections of lipsticks and lip crayons- Bright- offers a pop of color, Daring- warm and cool reds and Natural- sweet and playful.  In these collections you get 3 different lip products, 2 lipsticks and 1 lip crayon.

I chose the Bright Collection.  In this collection you get, Noble- a cream lipstick, Vibration- a matte lipstick and Keen- a matte lip crayon.  These all have hints of warm, red/orange hues without being too dramatic.  Perfect compliment to my brown eyes and lighter hair.  I absolutely loved wearing each one of them and haven’t been able to put them down since getting them!
