What’s on tap for February Beauty Heroes: FitGlow Beauty! I couldn’t be more thrilled to see the brand FitGlow in this month’s Beauty Heroes. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Anna, the founder of FitGlow and I just love her whole outlook and ethos. She really lives what she preaches and her skin is a testament to it. Can’t wait to dive into this month’s box, but first let me fill you in on Beauty Heroes if you’re not familiar with the brand.
Beauty Heroes was founded by Jeannie Jarnot. A longtime spa director herself and healthy beauty expert. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeannie at IBE, and she is truly one of the sweetest people. Beauty Heroes is a monthly beauty service that selects only the best clean beauty brands. Each month you can find one to two full size truly heroic products in each box. The products typically range from skincare to haircare products. However, every 3 months Beauty Heroes offers a makeup box as well that’s optional for members or non-members. I absolutely love their “Use Less, Love More” philosophy. By only getting one or two products, you allow yourself to truly experience them. Of course you can trust their picks, as they are strict on their integrity standards. What’s not to love about this whole concept? As a Beauty Heroes Ambassador, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of such a movement.
Anna, the founder is a longtime fitness and health guru that battled sensitive rosacea skin. She wanted products that would help her skin not turn bright red during workouts and be effective. With over 10 years of research in plant based ingredients, Anna discovered ingredients that feed and nourish the skin. FitGlow Beauty, a Canadian born company, was created to be with you wherever the day may take you. From yoga, to the office and everything in between. They actually have subjects test their products while running and doing yoga, to ensure they perform in any condition…how cool is that? Their beauty products are not only clean, and non-toxic but nourishing to the skin. Full of active ingredients-vitamins that feed your skin, and organic extracts. This line doesn’t mess around. They’re also Leaping Bunny certified-no animal testing happening here and gluten free. I really like how FitGlow doesn’t have dozens and dozens of products too. They keep it simple: Just make really great quality products.

So what was in the FitGlow box? I’m glad you asked.
Redness Rescue Cream- I was so excited to see this cream in the box. I had sampled it before and loved it! It moisturized without greasiness while at the same time calming redness. It is green tinted which helps to soothe redness in skin and minimize the look. Organic grape seed oil hydrates skin, while Wakame Seaweed Extract increases skin oxygen and helps promote collagen and overall healing. The formula includes FitGlow’s proprietary blend of Organic Calming Plant Blend. This three part blend helps to restore skin, stimulate collagen and soothe inflammation. Sign me up!
As someone who suffers from redness myself, I can vouch this product actually works! I’ve been using it and love the results. My skin feels more even, less red and hydrated without any greasiness. I love applying this in the morning before my foundation. It helps to give my skin the extra moisture it needs and even my skin tone. If you have sensitive skin, rosacea or just prone to redness, grab yourself some Redness Rescue Cream- SO good!
Cloud Comfort Cream- This takes skin cream to the next level! Much more creamier than the Redness Rescue Cream. It is specifically formulated for those who suffer from dry, irritated, rosacea, and environmentally aggravated skin. Here’s the description of the formula from FitGlow-
ORGANIC CLOUDBERRY and CHIA EXTRACTS rebuild skin strength and moisture barrier with complete essential lipids and high level of vitamins. CALM LIPOSOME deeply penetrates the skin to stimulate cell regeneration, soothe irritation, and improve skin elasticity.
Sounds like a seriously good calming moisturizer that really helps to give inflamed skin exactly what it needs.
My Experience-
I actually found several uses for the Cloud Comfort Cream. First was over my oils and serums at night. I tend to have combo dry skin but in the winter it gets even drier. This cream has been perfect for giving my skin the extra hydration it needs. I wake up with skin that is SO smooth and supple. It feels so happy…I really don’t know how else to describe it?! I would put this on in the morning too by itself before makeup and my skin felt super balanced, not greasy at all. I also have used this as a makeup remover- I know weird but I love it! I rub it all over in circular motions and it removes all my makeup but my skin doesn’t feel stripped at all. I especially love it for removing my eye makeup- so gentle but gets it all off!
I love knowing my skin is not only getting the hydration it needs but also the nutrients to keep it looking great!

Ok, now it’s time to dish on Beauty Heroes Makeup Discovery- FitGlow Beauty! I was so excited to see FitGlow again for the makeup discovery! I couldn’t wait to dive into the product.

Good Lash + Mascara-
I was so excited to try another mascara! I mean who doesn’t need a good mascara? This one did not disappoint. It gives my lashes volume, separation and some drama. It definitely lifts them up and creates a lash that you can’t help but notice! I love how you can build the formula on top of your lashes. It didn’t come off on my eyelid either- another bonus. Didn’t sting my eyes either. The brush on it is different than any other I’ve used. It starts out wide and then gets narrower. Great for getting the bitty lashes in the corner of the eye. If you’ve been searching for a good green beauty mascara- this may be it!
Lip Color Cream-
I’ve long been a fan of FitGlow’s lipsticks! One color in particular- LOVE. It’s the perfect cherry red. I was excited when the founder, Anna had told me she reformulated. So exciting! The lipsticks are now more of a stain and the wear time is SO much longer. It feels moisturizing when I use it, but so much that it looks glossy. It still gives a great satin finish.
Lip Color Serum-
Ok, this product is just gold! Trust me when I say there’s nothing else like it out there. It feels like a gloss but doesn’t look gooey, or sticky at all. It isn’t fully a lip gloss though. I’m not a gloss girl and if you’ve read my blog long enough you know that. The name really says it all- it’s a lip color serum. A serum that performs so well! It offers color pigment but isn’t all over the place. I’ve become an addict of it and I can’t stop wearing it! A new product fave for sure.
