December Natural Beauty Box Roundup

Another month brings December’s Natural Beauty Box Roundup!  I’ve got the lowdown on all the latest in green beauty.  As the boxes roll out, I’ll be sharing my reviews and all the juicy deets.  First up this month is Beauty Heroes!

Beauty Heroes-

If you haven’t heard of Beauty Heroes and want to learn more about this “IT” green beauty box, check it out here.  This month we are seeing the coveted green beauty brand Max and Me in the box.

If you aren’t familiar with Max and Me- let me introduce you.  This exquisite line is from the beautiful country of Austria.  This line represents a love story between the two founders.  Max and Tanja.  Max and Tanja are a husband and wife team, Max and Tanja Gruber.  The name, Max and Me, really is a representation of their love for each other.  Their hope is that you feel the product in your whole being and feel the vibrations of it as you use it.  It truly is an experience!  You feel their sweet and tender love story coming through the product, and you can’t help but be grateful for your own loves that surround you.

Their passion is so evident in their products and ingredients as well.  With organic and wildcrafted ingredients that perform to the highest standards.  In the end, they even go beyond organic!

Max and Me Sweet Serenity Mask and Wash is this month’s Beauty Heroes Heroic Product!

Sweet Serenity Mask and Wash-

This mask and wash is by far one of my very favorite masks!  It is just delectable.  The smell literally transforms me to a calming and soothing place with cacao, honey and mangosteen.  I can’t get enough.  As I write this my jar is completely gone…I know sad.  I literally used every last drop.  The beauty of this product is it can be used in many ways.  One way is as a cleanser.  I use it to rub away all the day’s grime and wipe off with a warm washcloth.  My skin feels renewed and refreshed.  I also love using it as a mask.  First, I cleanse my skin to remove all the dirt from the day and then follow with the Sweet Serenity Mask.  I would then go about my nighttime routine and then at the end wash it off with a warm washcloth.  My skin loved every drop.  This little ritual of cleaning and masking has given my skin some serious restoration and glow.  I would also use this as an exfoliant in the morning  and leave it on after rubbing on my face while I brushed my teeth.  It worked perfectly as a mask/cleanser/exfoliant combo.  After the mask my skin is hydrated, balanced and glows.  I can’t say enough about this product!

The Intuitive Botanical Facial Mist-

This is Max and Me’s newest product and it’s another decadent one!  Smells so lovely with woodsy and floral notes.  I love spraying this on my skin before my serums and oils.  It not only helps to heal the skin with Helichrysum, but also ground and center the mind with hyssop.  It may be the sidekick but this beauty stands on it’s own two feet!

Boxwalla-

Boxwalla is a bi-monthly box, meaning you only get it every other month.  I really like this concept because then you get to savor the products.  It’s nice to be able to really use them before getting another box.  Boxwalla also does a great job of giving you products that are really indie and artisan.  I love this!  I discover new brands and products all the time through Boxwalla.  To learn more about Boxwalla check them out here!

This month is a new brand I haven’t seen before.  The brand is Earth Wise Beauty. I was excited to learn that they are actually made in Spokane, Washington- not too far from me!  The basis of Earth Wise Beauty products is to heal the skin.  They’re an organic skincare line that go to great lengths to produce a product that is both holistic in every way and effective.  I was impressed with their whole process.  No detail goes unnoticed.  They even share a love for sustainability. Basically they check all the boxes!  I was SO excited to dive into their skincare treats.

This month we are seeing their Yasuni Face Balm and their Resiliency Face Serum.  They both are such unique products.  I couldn’t wait to use them and see what all the fuss was about!

Boxwalla’s December box featuring Earth Wise Beauty’s Yasuni Face Balm and Resiliency Face Serum.

Resiliency Face Serum-

I am used to face serums coming in a liquid form but this serum comes as more in a jelly form and in a jar.  It smells absolutely heavenly!  Notes of rose embody the whole serum.  It’s based in aloe and firms up the skin nicely and refreshes it.  It plumps up my skin, while at the same time minimizing puffiness- yes I’m looking at you under eye bags.  It’s just quite lovely and so different then anything I’ve used.  I find it perks up my skin while at the same time nourishing it.  Plus, I love that it’s anti-acne and really helps to heal the skin.

Yasuni Face Balm-

This face balm is another unique product that I found myself going back to again and again.  It’s a face balm for sensitive skin.  Feels light on the skin but also still very hydrating.  I was also drawn to it because it doesn’t contain any essential oils or absolutes.  Something very rare to find in clean beauty.  Making this perfect for sensitive skin and those who might not do well with any scent.  The golden hue of the balm instantly leaves your skin with a glow as well.  I applied this after using the face serum.  Such a lovely combo!  I now want to try more of Earth Wise Beauty!

Get this month’s Boxwalla box here!  This month’s value is over $170 but you can get it for $50!  Another great thing about Boxwalla is that you don’t have to subscribe for a long membership but can just buy the box monthly!  Check it out here!

Cheers, Suzi
