Ok, you asked for this best natural beauty concealers post! I’ve been working on this post for a while, excited to finally share. I get this question several times a week.
What is the best natural beauty concealer?
I get it, I once was there too. The thing is everyone looks for different things in their concealer. Some want an under eye concealer and some want to hide imperfections.
And yes, under eye concealers are a lot different than a concealer you want to use to cover your zit- just sayin’. I mean you can use a lot of under eye concealers on your face too but you probably don’t want to use a lot of your heavy concealers under your eyes.
So I’m outlining my absolute favorites in natural beauty. What they’re best at when concealing and how I use them.
Consider yourself checked into concealer school!
Holy moly! This is my newest fave concealer find in natural beauty and let’s just say it straight delivers. It comes in a wand form, which I love. It isn’t super thick but not runny thin either. It dries nicely though and doesn’t feel wet. I like this for under the eyes and for covering lighter blemishes or hyper pigmentation. It’s not going to cover a tattoo, (yes one of the concealers I’m going to recommend will). It just stays put so well and blends nicely into the skin. If you do apply in underneath your eyes, you still need to set it with a translucent powder. Like this one. I also like applying this underneath my nose for combating redness. This one is also pretty non-comedogenic friendly for anyone prone to breakouts. Get it here!
This was the first natural beauty concealer I used. It’s been a long favorite of mine. It comes in a glass pot. It melts so easily into the skin. It literally looks like you’re not wearing anything. Yet, it covers redness well. It feels very smooth and a bit oily. Not bad oily but it is made of coconut oil so it does get a little oily feeling as you work with it in your hands. It will cover blemishes but I don’t recommend it for people with blemish prone skin because it is made of coconut oil, a high comedogenic ingredient. This is great under eyes too, as it looks smooth and seamless. I would just be sure to set it with a translucent powder as well. This is really like a foundation, concealer in one. Often I’ll just wear this and not wear any foundation. It makes my skin feel pulled together but not overdone. Get it here!
This is another concealer I discovered last year and have been loving! It also comes in a wand form. It feels similar to the Fitglow Beauty Concealer but thicker. It feels a little wet initially but then as you blend it in it dries matte. It covers blemishes so well and redness! It I have tried it under the eyes but it was a little too matte for me and looked cakey. You could add a little oil to it- just a smidge to make it a little less matte. I really like this for everywhere else! It’s easy to work with, lasts all day and covers it all! Get it here!
This is a new fave for under the eyes! I don’t like it for covering blemishes or redness on the face, it’s too wet of a formula. But it works great for under the eye area because it is a little wetter of a formula. I can blend it in really well and it covers dark circles and discoloration under the eyes. It comes in a pen/brush formula. You push the cap on the bottom and the formula comes out easily on this paint brush like applicator. You then apply that to the eye area and pat the formula in with your fingers. It brightens up your eye but doesn’t look cakey! I also dust a little translucent powder on top of the concealer to help set it. Get it here!
This has been a long time fave. It literally can cover tattoos- yep it’s true. This is the thickest concealer by far. It comes in a glass pot. You can use your finger or a concealer brush to apply it. I like using a concealer brush since it’s a little on the thicker side- less messy. I just apply wherever I have a blemish or redness and blend in. It’s not for under the eye area at all. Too thick. This will last all day too. When I talked to the founder before she said makeup artists especially liked it for movie sets because of the longevity and coverage. If you’re looking for a heavy duty concealer that will completely cover it all, this is it! Get it here!
Last but not least is the W3ll People Concealer. This concealer comes in a tube form and is more of a wet formula. It squirts out of a tube. I don’t like this as much for covering redness or blemishes. I find it doesn’t last all day and it is too thin to offer me the coverage I like. Instead I like using this for underneath my eye area. I just squirt the formula out and then use my fingers to tap under my eyes. It helps to even out discoloration under the eye area and perk up tired eyes. Of course I add a little translucent powder to the under eye area too to set it. You don’t have too but I find I’ll get creasing if I don’t. Get it here!
Well, that sums up the best natural beauty concealers! See any faves? What is your favorite?
