I’m so excited to share best of natural beauty 2019!! It’s here! I’ve been posting this post every year for the last 5 years. This year I’m doing it with my blogger clean beauty friends Lisa from The New Knew and Sarah from Whoorl. We are each sharing our top 10 favorite clean beauty products for the the year.
This list includes some tried and true favorites that may or may not be new and of course some brand new products as well. We even have some bonus faves that we couldn’t not add to the list…I mean once a beauty junkie, always a beauty junkie.
And the best part?!
You’re not getting just one list of top 10 but 3! We each share different faves. We may not have tried all the products, so it’s nice to have friends who have tried the products we haven’t.
Oh and it gets even better! We are giving away each of our top 10 faves! Yes, check out the bottom of the post here to enter to win all of my faves and don’t forget to head to The New Knew, and Whoorl to enter to win their faves!
Happy New Year!!
Best of Natural Beauty 2019:
This just launched last year and I remember getting it in the mail thinking there is no way this is going to work! I had used spray deodorants in the past and they were horrible. I smelled like all the things midway through the day. Oh how I was so wrong about this product! The first time I used it I realized by the end of the day how I didn’t smell. I had my hubs try it to make sure I wasn’t missing something. Same experience, no smell. Safe to say we are huge fans! My hubs new favorite deodorant. He also likes it because it doesn’t stain his clothes like other natural deodorants. Get it here!
This line came out in July of 2019 and it was much anticipated! Beautycounter had spent 3 years forming and developing the line. It’s a line filled with plant derived retinols, peptides and antioxidants. It does the work for you when it comes to aging gracefully. The entire line has 6 products. By using a blend of plant-derived Retinatural Complex of Bakuchiol and alpine rose that support skin regaining youthfulness.
First the full Countertime line consists of 6 products. Spoiler alert: the Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream is the best antiaging cream I’ve found in natural skincare. It’s that good!
- Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil
- Mineral Boost Hydrating Essence
- Tripeptide Radiance Serum
- Antioxidant Soft Cream
- Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream- (Best antiaging cream in natural skincare)
- Ultra Renewal Eye Cream
It’s not often that I literally try out a whole line and find every product to be amazing- but that’s how I feel about Beautycounter’s Countertime Line! The line is just all around exceptional. For a full review on all the products, read here. Also, if for some reason you don’t like a product you purchase from Beautycounter they offer a 60 day money back guarantee. Shop Countertime here!
I use this product everyday on my girl’s hair and on mine and my hub’s uses it. You could say it’s well loved. It helps to define curls, eliminate frizz and smooth hair, as well as add a bit of texture. I love using it on my hair after I curl it to leave it with some texture, and give it a tousled look. Can’t recommend it enough! Get it here!
I have basically been searching for a spray like this since I switched over to clean beauty! Josh Rosebrook finally heard my cry. It acts as a heat protectant spray, helps to de-frizz hair, hydrate but doesn’t weigh it down. I have fine/thin hair and love it. I spray it on before I blow dry my hair. It even gives my hair some shine. Get it here!
Anyone would love to get one of these! From sister, to mom- they are the best little lip product. Completely clean, hydrating, and filled with antioxidants to keep your lips looking fresh and young. They’re not goopy or tacky like some glosses. They are perfect in texture and pigmented just enough. Plus, they smell like vanilla! Get them here!
Whoah…this shampoo is unlike anything I’ve used. First it comes in a round jar- not a bottle. I didn’t even realize it was shampoo at first but then I read the label and was very intrigued. Of course I had to get it! It’s not even a liquid in texture but feels more like a facial exfoliant in texture. It has tiny pink Himalayan salt crystals in it too. Plus, it has cold-pressed moringa oil, and rose hip oil. I literally just thought how it this going to clean my hair? But it did! And so well. You want to make sure your hair is completely damp and then apply some of the product onto hair and massage in. It forms a great lather. Your hair and scalp feels squeaky clean afterwards. It smells minty fresh with peppermint, orange and geranium. I love it! It really is such a revolutionary product. Plus, how awesome for travel?! Get it here!
This body wash is a prebiotic body wash. Prebiotics help to feed the skin and rid the skin of bad bacteria. The enzymes help to heal the skin by stimulating the cells. This results in helping to heal the skin of wounds, scars and blemishes. It helps to strengthen the skin barrier, which slows down the aging process. It’s so different than a typical body wash. You’re feeding the good bugs on your skin instead of washing them off. I use this on my kids, my new baby and my husband and I use it. Especially great if you have psoriasis, acne, or inflamed skin in general. Get it here!
This is a new favorite of mine! It literally takes me a minute to do my brows- which is pretty awesome. I really wanted to find a natural brow pencil for my readers because a lot of them struggled with brow gels. I really love Beautycounter’s Brow Gel but I know for some the application can be tricky. I really wanted something straightforward for people. This Ecobrow Defining Crayon is it!
It looks natural and doesn’t look fake or drawn on like so many eyebrow pencils can. One end is the crayon and the other end is the spooly for brushing the product through the hairs. I wear the color Penelope but I’m getting the color Liz in the mail too- I think I might need something a little more ashy. Penelope has a touch of redness. I’ll keep you posted. They offer 6 colors so you’re bound to find one that works for you. This comes in at $26! Check them out here!
I thought I wouldn’t like it originally but after using it I realized how wrong I was. The formula is a lot thinner than I expected. It reminds me of Gressa’s foundation consistency. I always say Gressa’s foundation reminds me of paint thinner. Haha, I know a crazy example. The Kosas Tinted Face Oil offers such good coverage, a lot better than I thought. It gives my face an overall polished and pulled together look. Plus, it looks so dewy and fresh. My skin literally looks like it’s glowing! Get it here!
This came out in the fall and I can’t stop using it. I added this into my skincare routine to try it out and it was the only product I changed. I started to notice my skin looked brighter, and glowing. The redness had been minimized and hyper pigmentation had faded. I was wondering what it was and realized I had started to use the First Light Brightening Oil two weeks prior. I love how the oil seeps into the skin and truly hydrates. I’ve been using it morning and night. It sits well under makeup. Get it here!
*Bonus Products: There were a few more standouts that I couldn’t not share!
- Josh Rosebrook’s Active Enzyme Exfoliant- This is a favorite of mine every year. I go back to it always as my exfoliant. It smoothes my skin with enzymes but also mechanically with walnut shells. It’s the best! Get it here!
- Beautycounter Eyeshadows- These are hands down my favorite natural beauty eyeshadows in clean beauty. They are super pigmented and last. Get them here!
- Live Botanical Glowing Honey Mask- This has been a staple in my skincare routine for almost 3 years. I use it first thing in the morning to give my skin a glow. It helps brighten and smooth my skin. Get it here!
- Innersense I Create Lift Volumizing Foam- This acts just like a traditional mousse for the hair. I apply it to wet hair and it beefs up my hair in no time. I’m left with volume for days! Get it here!
- Osmia’s Night Body Oil- When it comes to luxury body oils, this one takes the cake. It leaves your skin silky smooth for days. I apply it right after I shower. Get it here!
