Beauty Heroes: Blu Alchemy

beauty heroes february 2020

Another stellar box by Beauty Heroes for February’s 2020 box!

This month in Beauty Heroes we are seeing Bluh Alchemy!  This brand is no stranger to me.  I was introduced to them last year and have been itching to try more of their products.  The products are infused with highly potent plant actives that really complement one another.  The whole Bluh Alchemy line is mean to target the signs of aging skin and to deliver highly active plant ingredients that help protect against the environment and stress.  Their formulations are filled with bioactive, organic and wild harvested ingredients.  This is what skincare dreams are made of!

Botanic- Retinol- This is one skin transforming product!  It contains the beloved Bakuchiol. The only plant-derived retinol that has been proven to produce results!  I’m talking increase collagen, improve the skin’s elasticity and support skin’s firmness.  You could say it’s a one-two punch for giving skin it’s youthful glow back.  It does what you want conventional retinol to do but without the negative side effects.  Not only does it include the superstar Bakuchiol but also a ton of other active plant oils from carrot, fig, cacay and watermelon.  All rich with Vitamin A.  Plus, it doesn’t stop there.  This also hydrates your skin with lupine ceramides and lupine amino acids.  It’s basically your new BFF when it comes to effective skincare.

I apply this right after my hydrosol and my skin just soaks it up.  I noticed my skin felt hydrated but also more even and less red while using.  I’m going to keep using to update you on my progress- I’m excited for this one!

Eye Oil Serum- I’ve been testing this eye oil serum out and LOVE!  I’m not big into creams for the under eye area for me personally because I tend to get milia if I use anything too heavy.  This is just the right amount of hydration but not too much.  It comes in a glass rollerball and you just apply it right onto the under eye area.  I love how it feels cooling with the rollerball.  The formula doesn’t feel to greasy.  It really seeps right into the eye area.  I use this in the morning and at night. I find in the morning it’s nice for a little de-puffing with the cooler rollerball.

I can’t recommend this box enough!!  Definitely one for the books.  The total value is $222!  But you can get it for $58.95.  I mean it’s kind of a no brainer.  Get the box here!

Boxwalla: Votary

natural beauty box review

This box had me at the first swipe of each product!

I was beyond thrilled to see this brand in the Boxwalla box this month!  From the glass packaging to the ingredients, the brand Votary oozes luxury clean beauty.  This natural beauty brand is from the UK.  I was excited to learn that this natural skincare line was actually started by a makeup artist. As she mixed oils, she was impressed with their performance and brought on a partner to help create Votary.  All of Votary formulations are made from pure plant oils and botanical actives.  Let’s just say I couldn’t wait to dig into the products!

Super Seed Facial Oil-  This oil speaks for itself.  It’s filled with 22 plant oils.  These plant oils are highly active and filled with antioxidants.  From cranberry seed oil, raspberry, chia, cherry, carrot- just to name a few!  This oil is rich and really moisturizes the skin without leaving an oily or greasy residue behind.  It also helps to calm the skin.  I noticed firsthand my redness was minimized and my skin was glowing- it’s the real deal!  Even my mom loves it.  It’s an addicting facial oil!  I love that this is fragrance free too- not even essential oils.

Super Seed Nutrient Cream- This cream is in a league of it’s own.  I was so excited after I first tried it.  My skin felt supple, completely hydrated and even had moisture the next morning.  It’s been hard for me to find a truly rich cream that lasts in clean beauty.  This cream hits the mark.  I use this after I apply the Super Seed Facial Oil.  They pair so lovely together.  This cream is also fragrance free, so a great option for those that can’t do any scent.  This is also filled with skin loving oils.  One in particular is broccoli seed oil.  Known to be great for even the most sensitive skin types.

If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you’ve seen me raving about this box- it’s such an amazing box!  You get both of these products- valued at $212 for $49.95!  This box isn’t going to last long- snag it here.

Clean Beauty Box: February Box

natural beauty boxes

February’s Clean Beauty Box features one of my favorite brands- Live Botanical!

I couldn’t wait to include this box in my natural beauty box roundup for February.  I was so excited to see Live Botanical in the February Clean Beauty Box!  This is one my fave brands in clean beauty.  Not only is it effective natural skincare, but also budget friendly.  Plus, they just came out with some new products and I can’t get enough of them.  So it was perfect timing to see them in the box!  I first discovered Live Botanical at IBE Dallas several years ago.  I had the pleasure of meeting the maker and founder Carolyn.  It was so great to connect and hear her enthusiasm for herbs.  Sometimes people merely create a line but I could instantly tell this was Carolyn’s passion.  Although she is an herbalist, much of how Carolyn sees skincare is based on her 15+ years in the technology field as an analyst.  It’s always so fascinating to see how people get their start in skincare.

Live Botanical has become a gold mine as I’ve tried more products.  It’s not often I find products that not only are clean, but also effective and budget friendly.  People are constantly asking what options I would recommend that are less expensive and it can be hard.  Sometimes you have to sacrifice performance, however, not with Live Botanical.  I think that’s why I initially got so jazzed about it.  I saw that not only was the line organic, non-GMO, ethically wild-harvested, local, sustainable and fair trade but budget friendly.  She really goes the extra mile.  She also uses glass packaging too-something I swoon over.  I mean it’s kind of rare to check all the boxes but also be affordable!

There’s 3 products in this month’s box.

First Light Brightening Oil-  This oil is SO good!  If you’ve been following me on stories then you’ve heard me rave about it! I can’t stop using it.  I’ve been testing it out since November and can’t get enough of it.  I was feeling like my skin was looking extra good- if you know what I mean and the only thing I had done differently was apply this oil.  It feels like a rich oil on your skin but absorbs so well.  My skin is brighter and glowing in the mornings!  I’m addicted.

Radiance Elixir- This is a not yet released product from Live Botanical!  So basically you’re getting first dibs on this baby.  It’s a travel size and lives up to it’s name.  It gives you a subtle radiance after applying.  Feels super hydrating on the skin and dewy.  I spritz it on right before the First Light Brightening Oil.

Antioxidant Mask- This is another new fave of mine that I had been testing out since November.  It’s this beautiful green mask that comes in this whipped texture.  You add a little bit of water and it turns into a cream like consistency.  Then I apply it all over my face.  It hydrates the skin and leaves it feeling so refreshed and revived.  Such a great mask for winter!  I leave mine on for 30 minutes.  The phytocompounds in the mask help to improve circulation, stimulate collagen production, and help protect against environmental stressors.

This box is definitely worth getting!!  I would hop on it now before they sell out.  The value is $130 but you can get the box for $41.95!  Get the box here!

The Detox Box- Pai Skincare

Natural beauty box roundup

As always the Detox Box is bringing it for the month of February!

This month in the Detox Box we are seeing Pai Skincare in the Detox Box!  This line is perfect for even the most sensitive skin types.  Very soothing and healing. Pai was created by a woman who was desperate to find answers to her own skincare whoas.  Pai was birthed!  She wanted a line that would be designed for her sensitive skin.  Something that wouldn’t irritate it.  Well she hit the nail on the head with  Pai Skincare!

Lightwork Rosehip Cleansing Oil- In the box you get a travel size cleansing oi.  This is perfect for getting the makeup and debris off from the day without irritation. With ingredients like soothing rosehip and antioxidant rich carotenoids, this cleanser will not only cleanse your skin but also protect it from environmental stressors.

Chamomile and Rosehip Calming Day Cream- This cream is the perfect antidote for protecting sensitive skin and giving it the hydration without the irritation that it craves.  Chamomile is so calming and soothing.  The perfect post cleansing cream to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.

Kukui and Jojoba Bead Brightening Exfoliator-  This exfoliator brightens the skin but without harsh exfoliants.  Most exfoliants can be too harsh for sensitive skin, not this one!  Soothing and light jojoba beads gently exfoliate the skin without causing irritation.  Your skin will feel smooth and not dried out.

Camellia and Rose Gentle Hydrating Rose Cleanser- This is a cream cleanser is free from alcohols and detergents.  It’s main goal is to gently cleanse the skin while at the same time keeping hydration intact.  Perfect for those who have irritated skin like eczema or psoriasis.

This is a great box for anyone wanting to try a variety of Pai Skincare for a fraction of the cost!  The value is $157 but you can get it for $55!  Get the box here!
