Sharing all my secrets to achieving glowing skin in my newest video.
Hi,
What lip color are you wearing in this video?
Also, do you have suggestions for a similar highlighter that doesn’t have coconut oil in it? Many things you suggest look beautiful but I was told to avoid so many things(Shea butter, coconut oil etc) by my esthetician b/c of my acne prone skin. I am also using powder foundation & blush for the same reason. Any suggestions? What do you think of the Beautycounter Countertime Lipid Defense cleansing oil for dry acne prone skin? Sorry for my multiple questions but I saw the video liked your ideas but seeing how they could work for me. ????
Thank you!
I loved your ideas for a natural glow and I’m definitely going to try the Beautycounter cream blush and their bronzer. I do have a question about primer and sheer powder. Do you feel they are necessary to help your makeup last all day? Specifically for an outdoor wedding and photos. And if so, do you have any you recommend for mature, dry skin? The same question also for eyelids. Your eye make up in the video was perfectly subtle (was that powder or cream?) but I have hooded lids and eye makeup seems to melt away without a primer. I still haven’t found a clean one. I would love any ideas or input from you! Thank you!
I do think a primer can help especially if you’re dealing with the outside elements! I love Crunchi’s Primer and for a sheer translucent powder I love Beautycounter’s Mattifying Powder. I was wearing a powder in my video. I use Ilia’s Eye Primer. I really like how my shadow stays put with it and how it makes the shadow pop. After I apply the Ilia Eye Primer, I’ll then apply the powder eyeshadow and then Beautycounter’s magnifying powder to set it. 🙂
I am wearing the Lip Sheer in Rose from Beautycounter! One of my favorites! For a highlighter have you looked into Crunchi’s powdered highlighter? I really like it for a powder highlighter. Also, I like Maya Chia’s liquid Highlighter. For the cleanser, I’ve actually had several clients that like the cleanser for their skin and they have acne prone skin. I think it varies but overall it’s helped their acne. The plant-derived retinol is a great product for acne skin in general.
