Ok, you asked for this best natural beauty concealers post! I’ve been working on this post for a while, excited to finally share. I get this question several times a week.
What are the best natural beauty concealers?
I get it, I once was there too. The thing is everyone looks for different things in their concealer. Some want an under eye concealer and some want to hide imperfections.
And yes, under eye concealers are a lot different than a concealer you want to use to cover your zit- just sayin’. I mean you can use a lot of under eye concealers on your face too but you probably don’t want to use a lot of your heavy concealers under your eyes.
So I’m outlining my absolute favorites in natural beauty. What they’re best at when concealing and how I use them.
Consider yourself checked into concealer school! Let’s dive into the best natural beauty concealers.
Concealer Tips:
- You can use most concealers as an eye primer too! Just apply this on top of your eyelid before eye shadow. It helps to make your eyeshadow pop, plus gives your eyeshadow something to adhere to so it stands out.
- Use a concealer to highlight your face. Apply concealer where you would naturally use a highlighter.
- Use on the inner corners of your eyes to make them appear brighter and pop. Also, helps to make them look less tired.
- If you’re goal is to cover under eye dark circles then make an upside down triangle under your eye area with your concealer. This will help brighten your whole face.
- Always apply your foundation first, then your concealer.
- Highlight under your brows with concealer. This helps bring your eye area up- it’s an instant eye lift!
- Orange or pink concealer cancels out dark circles.
- If using your finger to apply concealer, use your ring finger which has the least amount of muscles.
- Green concealer is for blemishes and red spots.
- Yellow concealer is for evening out skin tone.
- If you’re concealer tends to look cakey, blot with a tissue under the eye area to soak up excess oil.
- Apply a translucent powder after you apply under eye concealer to help set it and take away oil. This also helps your eye area to look more awake and not tired or drab.
- If you mess up on your eyeliner, use some concealer to hide mistakes.
- Use concealer to help prevent bleeding lipstick.
- Use concealer to help cancel out redness before applying a lipstick. This helps you to achieve the true lipstick color.
- Want to create you’re own tinted moisturizer? Mix your concealer with some lotion and rub together!
- Your concealer for your under eye area should be one shade lighter than your foundation. But not too light where it looks drastically different.

Different Types Of Concealers:
There are different types of concealers and of course they are meant for different things. I’m going to share all the different formulas in hopes that it will help guide you on which one to get.
- Pencil Concealer- Helps to conceal blemishes, and good for on the go since it’s solid and less mess. Also, good for highlighting the face. Pencils offer a thicker consistency. They are similar to a cream concealer but in pencil form.
- Cream Concealer- The consistency of a cream concealer is thicker, gives more of a matte finish and is good for helping to conceal blemishes, tattoos and deep pigmentation.
- Liquid Concealer- This type is great for under the eye area and for blending into the skin. Great for evening skin tone.
- Pen Concealer With Brush Tip- This is more of a sheer formula and great for under the eye area.
Concealers For Skin Type:
Not all concealers work for every skin type. I’m going to outline below which I would recommend depending on age, and skin type.
- Dry Skin- I have dry skin and definitely lean towards a liquid concealer because of the dewiness it adds and the hydration. It doesn’t look cakey or heavy on my skin like a more opaque formula. That being said I do prefer a little more opaqueness and creamy texture for covering hyperpigmentation. My favorites for dry skin are, Kosas Revealer, Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer, Fitglow Conceal + for hyperpigmentation and blemishes, and Clove and Hallow Concealer. RMS Beauty would be great too.
- Combination Skin- Your skin might feel pretty normal overall but at times get a little oily in the t-zone. That being considered, I would recommend Fitglow Conceal +, Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer, Clove and Hallow Concealer, and Hynt Beauty Concealer. I think the Kosas Revealer would work too, but you would probably want to set it with a translucent powder to cut down any shine.
- Oily Skin- If you have oily skin I would recommend Ilia’s True Skin Serum Concealer. It has really low, if any comedogenic ingredients for most people and still dries to a demi-matte so it’s not adding a ton of shine. I also like Hynt Beauty, since it dries to a matte texture as well. Fitglow Conceal + is also a great option since it dries to a matte finish.
- Mature Skin- If you have mature skin I would recommend first to make sure you use a moisturizer under the eye area. You don’t want it to be dry. Also, choose a concealer that is hydrating and lightweight. If you choose to heavy of a concealer you’re going to get a crepey/cakey look. Which is only going to accentuate the fine lines. I really like W3ll People’s Concealer– super hydrating and not too heavy. I also would recommend RMS Beauty Un Coverup– this turns very creamy as you work with it on your fingers, very dewy looking. Beautycounter’s Concealer is another great one for under the eye area. I also would recommend Kosas Revealer, since it’s going to add brightness and give hydration. Last tip, use a primer under the eye area too. This is going to fill in any fine lines and really help keep your concealer from moving around and getting into the fine lines. Make sure you set your foundation with a translucent powder. Finally don’t cake on your products and don’t apply a lot of concealer near crow’s feet. Most people don’t have discoloration there, and the concealer tends to get into the fine lines easier there. Stick to applying concealer where you have the bulk of your discoloration which is closer to your eye area. Less is more as you age.
Ok, I’m not going to make you wait any longer- here are the best natural beauty concealers!
Best Natural Beauty Concealers:
Fitglow Concealer is one of my holy grails in clean beauty!
Fitglow Beauty Conceal +-
Concealer Type- Fitglow is a liquid concealer but I would also say it’s more of a cream consistency too since it feels a little thicker. A little of both.
Packaging- It comes in a tube form with a wand.
Formula- The formula is more of a heavier formula for a wand concealer but not as heavy as a cream concealer. It doesn’t feel as wet as some wand concealers are. It dries quickly which I love. Making it really great for hyperpigmentation and covering redness.
How Does It Wear- The longevity of this concealer is excellent. It really lasts the whole day for me, especially when set with a translucent power or mineral powder.
What Is It Good For- This concealer is great for covering blemishes and redness. It really does such a good job of staying in place and not moving. It’s especially good for covering blemishes, redness or hyperpigmentation. I use this on my cheeks for hyperpigmentation, and under my nose for redness. I also like it for highlighting the face too.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- This concealer could be a comedogenic concealer for some since it contains the ingredient beeswax. Beeswax basically blocks off all oxygen to your pores so your skin can’t breathe. Some people might be fine with it but others may find it to cause acne flare ups.
Shades- Comes in 9 shades. I wear the color 3.5.
Review- This is my go to concealer for my cheeks and covering blemishes and hyperpigmentation. I always reach for it first because it does such a stellar job and lasts. Definitely one of the best natural beauty concealers. It’s so easy to blend into the skin. I don’t like it as much for under eyes, it’s too thick for me and ends up looking cakey. Get it here!
RMS Beauty Un CoverUp has been a staple in my beauty bag for 10 years!
RMS Beauty Concealer-
Concealer Type- This is a cream concealer.
Packaging- It comes in a frosted glass jar.
Formula- The formula is lightweight in that it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, yet it is thick enough to provide some awesome coverage when it comes to covering hyperpigmentation and blemishes. It warms up in your hand and skin as you apply it.
How Does It Wear- It wears well. It doesn’t look as good by the end of the day, but I think that’s what makes this kind of beautiful too. It’s more of that worn in, effortless look. I will still look like I have some great coverage but it’s going to have faded a little. Very natural look overall.
What Is It Good For- This concealer is great for covering redness or hyperpigmentation. It really offers great coverage but doesn’t look cakey or matte. Very dewy skin look overall.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- This is definitely not non-comedogenic. It has coconut oil as the base, which is a very high comedogenic rating. I would steer clear of this if you find your pores get easily clogged or you have acne.
Shades- Comes in 16 shades. I wear the color 22.
Vegan- No
Review- This was the first natural beauty concealer I used 10 years ago. It’s been a long favorite of mine. It melts so easily into the skin, which I love giving you such a natural look, yet it still offers some coverage. It feels very smooth and a bit oily. Not bad oily but it is made of coconut oil so it does get a little oily feeling as you work with it in your hands. This is great under eyes too, as it looks smooth and seamless. I would just be sure to set it with a translucent powder as well. This is really like a foundation, concealer in one. Often I’ll just wear this and not wear any foundation. I just apply starting in my t-zone area and then blend out for a really natural look. It makes my skin feel pulled together but not overdone. Get it here!
I’ve fallen hard for Clove and Hallow’s Concealer!
Clove and Hallow Concealer-
Concealer Type- This is a liquid concealer.
Packaging- It comes in a wand form.
Formula- The formula is creamy and dewy feeling. It reminds me of Fitglow’s Concealer but it’s not as thick, a little wetter formula. But then once you apply it to your skin is dries matte.
How Does It Wear- The concealer lasts all day and really looks great after a day’s wear.
What Is It Good For- This is great for covering blemishes, hyperpigmentation, and redness. I like how it offers good coverage but isn’t too heavy. I do like it under the eyes as well. It’s creamy enough that it doesn’t look cakey under the eye area. It’s great for building coverage too.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- This is definitely not non-comedogenic. It has coconut oil, which is a very high comedogenic rating. I would steer clear of this if you find your pores get easily clogged or you have acne.
Shades- Comes in 10 shades. I wear the color 03.
Vegan- It is vegan.
Review- This concealer really performs so well! I find myself reaching for it among all my concealers because it’s so versatile and can be used under the eyes and for redness and hyperpigmentation. It really lasts too. The only thing I don’t love about it is the packaging. For some reason some of the product will come out of the top each time I use it. When you put the wand back in the tube, it’s almost like it pushes the product down and then when you take it out, more product comes with it. That would be my only drawback. Other than that I really love this concealer! Get it here!
Beautycounter Concealer-
This is a new fave for under the eyes! I don’t like it for covering blemishes or redness on the face, it’s too wet of a formula. But it works great for under the eye area because it is a little wetter of a formula. I can blend it in really well and it covers dark circles and discoloration under the eyes. It comes in a pen/brush formula. You push the cap on the bottom and the formula comes out easily on this paint brush like applicator. You then apply that to the eye area and pat the formula in with your fingers. It brightens up your eye but doesn’t look cakey! I also dust a little translucent powder on top of the concealer to help set it. Get it here!
Concealer Type- This is a pen concealer with brush tip.
Packaging- It comes in a wand form, with a click applicator.
Formula- The formula is lightweight and creamy. A little on the wet side.
How Does It Wear- It lasts well, but I do find it looks a little worn by the end of the day.
What Is It Good For- This is the perfect under eye concealer. It really offers some light coverage for under the eyes and a little dewiness. It’s too light for covering blemishes.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- It’s not comedogenic. It has coconut oil in it.
Shades- Comes in 6 shades. I wear the color light.
Vegan- It is vegan.
Review- I really love using this concealer for under my eyes. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t look cakey or too heavy. It blends really well into the skin and adds some brightness too. I also like how it feels a little dewy. I don’t use this for covering blemishes or anything else. It’s too sheer, but I really do love it for a great under eye concealer. Get it here!
Hynt Beauty Concealer-
Concealer Type- This is a cream concealer.
Packaging- It comes in a glass jar.
Formula- The formula is solid in the jar but when you touch it the product instantly melts onto your fingers making it easy to spread and use. It is opaque more, even though it does feel lightweight.
How Does It Wear- The concealer lasts all day and really looks great after a day’s wear
What Is It Good For- This is great for covering blemishes, hyperpigmentation, and redness. I like how it offers good coverage but isn’t too heavy. I don’t like it under the eyes. I find it looks a little cakey and heavy. This is the best concealer for really getting some good coverage on the blemishes. You can really build the coverage as you go.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- This is definitely not non-comedogenic. It has coconut oil, which is a very high comedogenic rating.
Shades- Comes in 7 shades. I wear the color medium.
Vegan- It is vegan.
Review- This concealer really is the holy grail when it comes to coverage. If theres something you want to cover it does a good job. You can even apply it, let it dry for 5 minutes, then go back and reapply the product for even more coverage. I’ve even read where people use it to cover tattoos! Get it here!
This is a great under eye concealer.
W3ll People-
Concealer Type- This is a liquid concealer.
Packaging- It comes in a small tube that you squirt out.
Formula- The formula is very dewy and slightly whipped texture to it. Even though it feels dewy it does set in the skin well.
How Does It Wear- It’s not as long as others. By the end of the day I can see some has worn off but it still looks nice. I notice if I set it, it really helps give it some longevity since it’s lightweight and tends to fade a little.
What Is It Good For- I really love this concealer for under the eyes but not for blemishes or redness. It has a texture that really brightens the under eye area and doesn’t feel heavy. I find it’s a little to sheer to offer the coverage I want.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- It has coconut oil in it. It has coconut oil, which is a very high comedogenic rating.
Shades- Comes in 6 shades. I wear the color 2.
Vegan- It is not vegan.
Review- Overall, this is a great under eye concealer as I’ve mentioned. I just squirt the formula out and then use my fingers to tap under my eyes. It helps to even out discoloration under the eye area and perk up tired eyes. Of course I add a little translucent powder to the under eye area too to set it. You don’t have too but I find I’ll get creasing if I don’t. The only thing I don’t love about it, is it tends to separate sometimes I’ve noticed in the tube. So you get a little oil coming out separate from the pigment. But other than that it’s a great under eye concealer. Get it here!
One of my favorite all around natural beauty concealers!
Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer
Concealer Type- This is a liquid concealer.
Packaging- It comes in liquid form.
Formula- The formula feels creamy to the touch, and silky smooth. Blends really nice in the skin.
How Does It Wear- Great! It looks so good on the skin even at night. Really impressed with the longevity.
What Is It Good For- I love this concealer for everything! It does well underneath my eyes, and covering redness and hyperpigmentation. It’s the perfect all around medium coverage concealer.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- It is low in comedogenic ingredients. I would recommend it for those who might be sensitive to comedogenic ingredients. Do a patch test first to see how your skin reacts.
Shades- Comes in 12 shades. I wear the color SC3.
Vegan- It is vegan.
Review- I really dig this concealer! It hits all the marks for me. It’s lightweight feeling, yet still offers the coverage I crave in a concealer and I love that it works for both my under eye area and hyperpigmentation and redness. It blends so nicely into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy. Get it here!
This concealer is great for quickly highlighting the face.
PYT Pencil Concealer
Concealer Type- This is a pencil concealer.
Packaging- It comes in a pencil form that needs to be turned when the tip gets dull. It also has a brush on the end for helping to blend the formula.
Formula- The formula feels more opaque and matte.
How Does It Wear- It’s ok on wear. I felt like it faded quickly and wasn’t as natural looking as I had hoped it would be.
What Is It Good For- This is a great concealer for highlighting the face because of it’s pencil application. It also is good for blemishes as you can apply it right on them. I don’t like it for under the eyes as it’s too opaque and not dewy enough.
Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- It does have comedogenic ingredients in it.
Shades- Comes in 11 shades. I wear the color light/warm.
Vegan- It is not vegan
Review- I wouldn’t pick this concealer up regularly. I can see where it would be good for highlighting and contouring since it’s a pencil and easy to quickly blend it. Also, if you have minimal hyperpigmentation, it would work to conceal. However, I wouldn’t use this under the eye area. Get it here!
This new Kosas Revealer concealer takes the cake for brightening and great coverage.
Kosas Revealer Concealer
Concealer Type- This is a liquid concealer.
Packaging- It comes in a tube with a wand.

Comedogenic/Non-Comedogenic- It does have comedogenic ingredients in it.
Shades- Comes in 16 shades. I wear the color 3.5.
Vegan- It is not vegan.
Review- This concealer gives you an overall brightness to your whole look. I love that it has caffeine to help de-puff the under eye area and hyaluronic acid to add hydration. I feel that they really thought through this product when bringing it to market it and nailed it. I keep reaching for this! I’m excited to add it to the best natural beauty concealers! Get it here!
