Excited to share my full review of Caraway Nontoxic Cookware Ceramic Pots. This nontoxic cookware option is a new find for me and one I was so pumped to get my hands on and test out! They launched in the fall of 2019, so they’re not even a year old. I was intrigued to say the least of their ceramic pots after having tried so many others in the past, I knew there must be something special about this line and there is.
Let me first share a little information on Caraway Cookware ceramic pots and pans and what makes them so special. They are made using a mineral based coating that doesn’t leach into your food. They also emit 60% less C02 than traditional non-stick coatings. They first start with an aluminum and stainless steel base and then cover it with the mineral based coating. The mineral coating is free of lead, cadmium and teflon. As with most ceramic pots and pans it is a mineral-based coating made of silica, oxygen, binders, and color pigments.
People used to be concerned about the mineral coating chipping but I’ve found high quality ceramic pots and pans don’t do that. It’s the poor quality, usually inexpensive ones that tend to chip or wear off after a short amount of time. As I like to say- you get what you pay for!
Caraway Cookware is definitely high quality. Very durable and stain resistant. I haven’t had any issues with stains or discolorations. It really continues to look as good as the day I got it! Something I really love about the cookware. It’s also very easy to clean. All you need is some warm soapy water and a scrub pad and it cleans things up really well.
The Caraway Cookware Ceramic Pots and Pans Collection
The Caraway Cookware Ceramic Pots comes in 4 cookware options.
- Fry Pan(10.5 in.)
- Sauce Pan(3 Quart)
- Sauté Pan(4.5 Quart)
- Dutch Oven(6.5 Quart)
You can buy them as a set for $395 or you can shop them individually. Buying them as a set saves you $65. The set really is the perfect wedding or shower gift in my opinion. It would be all the essentials to get you started in the kitchen. The Caraway Cookware ceramic pots comes in 5 colors. Cream, Gray, Terracotta, Sage and Navy. They all look very modern and sleek. I have the gray ceramic pots collection. The first thing everyone says when they see them is how good they look with my kitchen! I couldn’t agree more. They definitely look very sharp.
Caraway Cookware is such an easy transition for anyone looking to swap their cookware from traditional non-stick to a nontoxic non-stick option. You won’t miss your old toxic cookware at all with Caraway! It’s so easy to use. It’s completely nonstick. I haven’t had any issues with food sticking to the ceramic pots or pans at all. Even my husband was so impressed with the performance. He couldn’t get over how easy it was to use. I’ve made ground beef, sausage, chicken, eggs, quesadillas, vegetable stir fry’s and more. I love the small fry pan for cooking eggs or quick one person meals. The Sauce Pan I’ve used so much for sauces, oatmeal and pasta. The Sauté Pan is great for cooking larger one pot meals, meat and stir fry’s and the Dutch Oven is great for soups, chili, whole chickens and broth. I really have used them all for different things and they work so well.
I love the hanging canvas lid holder too! Such a great way to organize the lids. The Sauté Pan, Sauce Pan and the Dutch Oven all come with lids. Something I love! They even have a small venting hole in each lid. The hanging canvas comes with two suctions. I put it on the side of my fridge and it works great! So easy to get to the lids. They also come with magnetic modular pan racks that help keep your ceramic pots and pans organized in your cabinet. They really have thought of everything!
They also work for any type of stovetop. Whether you have gas or electric or even induction- Caraway Cookware will work!
Another point I wanted to make is that they don’t feel quite as heavy as some other ceramic cookware I’ve had in the past. They are sturdy but not too heavy. I like being able to still lift the pan with one arm if I need too. As with any ceramic cookware you want to make sure you use wooden, or silicone utensils on the pans, no stainless steel to prevent scratching.

I have been so happy with Caraway Cookware and the overall performance of their ceramic pots and pans. Often you find a cookware and you love how it looks but not how it performs- Caraway does it all. From the sleek design, to the amazing even cooking, easy cleanup and effortless storage- Caraway makes it easy to switch to nontoxic cookware without thinking twice!
I also applaud Caraway Cookware for it’s ethical manufacturing. They go the extra mile to ensure that their employees are paid fairly, with benefits, safe, treated well and work regular hours. Their ethics also carry over into their environmental practices too. Their shipments are shipped out in recycled cardboard without any plastic. They also use biodegradable cork trivets as well and low impact print dyes.
Have you used Caraway?
