This month there are a lot of new products! I couldn’t wait to share them with you. From a new skincare mask, a couple stellar glosses, an old beauty book I find myself continually reading, a toothpaste I’ve about sucked dry, a new mascara fave and a cleanser that I keep reaching for. When you find a new natural mascara that delivers you do a happy dance!
Erin’s Face’s Matcha Mascara
I was so excited to try this mascara! I had heard so many rave reviews about this mascara. Every time I would talk about clean beauty mascaras everyone would ask me if I had tried Erin’s Faces yet- I knew I had to try it. Erin, the founder was so kind to send me a tube to test out. It was love at first swipe! The brush is an hourglass brush that really delivers on length and volume. You instantly get pigment on your lashes. I do each side and then go back and add a little more just on the ends to pump up the length. I get ALL the things with this mascara. From length, volume, thickness- it does it all! I’ve had so many people compliment me since wearing this mascara. It wears great throughout the day as well. No flaking or smearing. I also love that it comes in an eco glass tube- Erin thought of everything! I looked on her website when I was first reading up on the mascara and knew it was a stellar formula after the 41 five star reviews too! Get your Matcha Mascara here!

Juice Beauty Instant Flash Facial
I was sent this by Juice Beauty and to be honest wasn’t overly excited. But once I used it I started to sing a different tune! I was so impressed with the overall formula. You apply to damp skin and leave on for 2-3 minutes. Unlike a lot of flash masks this didn’t tingle at all. It actually felt very hydrating and soothing to the skin. Sometimes clays can bother my skin or acids- but not this mask, my skin loved it! My skin not only felt smooth and hydrated but glowing, just as the mask promises with it’s glow, baby glow slogan. This gives you a great exfoliation without it being too harsh. If you have sensitive skin this may be the flash mask you’ve been looking for. A great mask first thing in the morning or before a big event to really give your skin an overall luminous glow. Check it out here!
This gloss is a 21st century take on gloss and I’m loving it.
Ilia Beauty Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil
This new gloss by Ilia Beauty is a brand new take on a traditional lip gloss. It is full of hyaluronic acid and gives your lips both moisture and shine. As Ilia says, “You get the shine of a gloss with the nourishment of a balm.” It really is the best of both worlds. It doesn’t have a high impact shine or gloss feel compared to others I’ve tried. If you like more a balm feel that is hydrating, yet offers a hint of color and some shine, then this is for you. The colors are so pretty and great for everyday wear. I wore these a lot on my recent vacation and my lips stayed hydrated so much longer even in the hot Idaho sun. Check out all the colors here!
This is the foaming cleanser you grew up loving but now more hydrating and squeaky clean when it comes to ingredients!
Beautycounter Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser
This cleanser is relatively new from Beautycounter. It came out several months ago and I haven’t been able to part with it. If you’ve followed me for the last year then you know that I love Beautycounter’s Countertime Cleanser- it’s my holy grail but I haven’t been able to put this down either. I use this a lot in the morning and my Beautycounter Countertime Cleanser at night. This cleanser is creamy and leaves your skin feeling clean, yet hydrated. I love how it foams up just enough to really give your skin that clean feeling without it stripping the skin. I also love it for removing my makeup at night too- it gets the job done effortlessly. The newest product launches from Beautycounter are proving to be in a league of their own!
Beautycounter Sheer Genius Conditioning Lipstick
One of my favorite products from Beautycounter got a makeover and I couldn’t be more excited about it! These used to be called Lip Sheers and they were good but now they’re even better. Not only are they more hydrating, but they have an ECOCERT certified organic vanilla in them that’s responsibly sourced. They also have jojoba esters that melt into your lips and really give you that extra sheen. I love these for everyday wear. They give you a hint of color but not so much that it looks over done. Trust me if you haven’t tried them you will love them! They still have their original colors but also some new ones as well. I snagged the new color in Rosewood and I can’t get enough! Beautycounter Beyond Gloss
Had to include this in my best of clean beauty August! This is another new product launch from Beautycounter! I actually wasn’t that as excited about it because I’m not a gloss girl but this gloss is different. If you’ve been following me on stories then you’ve seen me wearing this nonstop! I love the feel and texture of the gloss. It doesn’t feel overly goopy. It really delivers the highest impact shine I’ve seen in a natural lip gloss. The best part?! It stays- like doesn’t budge. I even go through a meal and can still feel the gloss on my lips. I love the longevity of the product. They have several new colors and one of them is Spice, and I’m obsessed with it. It is a warm neutral shimmer that goes with anything and really highlights the lips so well with just a hint of warmth and tons of shine. Eat Pretty Everyday
I’ve had this book for several years and recently picked it up again. If you haven’t read anything by the author Jolene Hart I highly recommend you do. Eat Pretty Everyday is her second book and it’s such a good one! It piggy backs on her first book, Eat Pretty and offers 365 daily inspirations for nourishing your body from the inside out. She does such a great job of connecting beauty and nutrition. They’re so related and she shares timeless nuggets that help you implement small changes everyday that add up to big results. It’s broken up into seasons too which I love. Currently reading summer and already looking forward to the Autumn inspirations. It really gives you such practical tips to practice for not only living mindfully everyday but also adding fresh and creative ways to live a more holistic lifestyle. I love her recipes she provides.
