Credo Beauty Favorites

Sharing my Credo Beauty Favorites with you in my newest blog post!  This is actually going to be a monthly blog post that I share with you.  Each month I’ll be receiving product from Credo Beauty and reviewing them.  Of course all opinions and thoughts are my own.

I typically post my new favorite clean beauty products each month on the blog.  This is a reader favorite!  I share what I’m loving in clean beauty and what’s new.  Credo Beauty and I have teamed up to bring you the best of both worlds.  Not only will I bring you the best of the best when it comes to new clean beauty products, but it will be easy to shop for them through clean beauty superstore Credo Beauty!

If you’re not familiar with Credo Beauty allow me to introduce them to you.  This is one of my favorite online natural beauty retailers.  They have it all when it comes to clean and effective products.  They’re like the Sephora of clean beauty.  All the “IT” brands in one place!  I’ve been to several of their retail locations and every time I’ve been to one I do a little happy dance.  If you don’t have a Credo Beauty close to you, no problem!  Their online stores have it all and make it so easy to shop on the comfort of your home.

This month I’m sharing some new favorites that I sampled from them that I can’t get enough of!

These Kinship Insta Swipe Pads are making waves with their compostable pads!

Kinship Insta Swipe Lemon Honey AHA Pads

I was so intrigued to try these AHA pads!  I had read so much about them and was excited to see what all the fuss was about.  They come in pad form, already saturated with the product on them.  At first I was a little bummed since it seems wasteful but the more I read about them I realized they are fully compostable!  Huge win in my book.  These pads are meant to help resurface the top layer of your skin, clear pores and reduce blemishes using glycolic acid.  While the glycolic does it’s thing, they also have manuka honey which leaves your skin with an all over glow.  The treatment in the pads is called Kinbiome.  This is Kinship’s plant based probiotic that works to support a strong skin barrier, as well as glowing skin.

They feel very cooling on the skin and soothing at the same time.  I love how my skin felt refreshed and awake after using.  I loved using them in the morning to perk up my skin.  I felt a little tingle but that’s it.  My skin looked overall brighter.  I love the light exfoliation it offers, without being too much.  Great for everyday. Especially great for those with acne prone skin that is sensitive as glycolic acid is a lot more gentle by nature.  Plus, they are so easy to use as they come already pre-soaked.  Another huge plus for Kindship is their commitment to sustainability.  Their plastic jars are made with recycled Ocean Water Plastic and post- consumer recycled materials.  A big win for our oceans!

Indie Lee Restorative Eye Cream

This came highly recommended to me by a friend who works for Credo Beauty.  I knew I had to try it!  I’m always on the search for an eye cream that soaks right in.  This one is a new Indie Lee product.  It has ectoin, antioxidant centella, and paracress extracts that help to strengthen the eye area while also reducing visible fine lines. Plus, it has hyaluronic acid which helps to keep moisture levels intact while, conditioning algae and licorice root give an overall brightness and plumper look to the eye area.  It’s really the best of everything wrapped up into one bottle!

I love how it comes in a pump bottle application.  Makes it so easy to apply.  It doesn’t feel too heavy which I love.  Some under eye creams are so rich that they can give me milia under my eyes.  I have to be careful!  This one is the perfect consistency.  I really love that I can even use it in the morning under makeup since it’s not so heavy.  The biggest difference I noticed was an overall brightness and smoothness.  Especially when wearing my concealer.  It acted like a primer, really helping to smooth things out.  Highly recommend!  I’ll be using this up.

Mara Chlorella + Reishi Vitamin C Serum

I had read rave reviews about this serum and couldn’t wait to test it out for myself.  I was so excited that Credo Beauty carried it!  Truth be told their are a lot of Mara products I want to try.  This is a Vitamin C serum but it also is an oil at the same time.  Often a Vitamin C serum is just a serum.  This is a serum and a hydrating oil.  The serum includes the most stable form of Vitamin C, plus 14 additional Vitamin C rich fruit extracts, herbs and botanicals that help to give a brightness to the skin.  If that wasn’t enough the formula also has algae, which helps to firm skin, fade dark spots and sun damage, as well adaptogens that help to soothe skin.  It even includes Squalene oil!  One of my favorites.  This oil moisturizes like none other.

What I loved about using this was how the serum soaked in so well.  My skin didn’t feel too oily or like it had an oily residue on it.  It felt so balanced and plump but not too much.  I noticed an improvement in skin brightness for sure!  It really helped to fade some hyperpigmentation for me all over.  I even thought wow my skin in a couple areas looked exceptionally better.  I looked over what I had been using and realized it was this serum!  I use it in the morning and at night.  I will say that if you do use it in the morning, make sure and wear SPF if you’re going to be outside.

The Westman Atelier Foundation gives a dewy consistency, while still offering great coverage.

Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation Stick

This foundation stick had been calling my name for quite some time and I finally answered!  Anything that comes in an easy to apply stick has my name written all over it.  This one in particular I had read great things about.  The formula is creamy and dewy.  It gives your skin a nice even look but doesn’t look over done.  It blends in so well.  I like how you can really customize this to any level of coverage you want.  If you want light coverage, then you use a lighter hand, but if you want heavier coverage you apply more.  Overall, the texture feels like your skin after application and not like you’re wearing a heavy foundation.  It covers all my redness easily as well as dark spots.  I like to apply it to my face all over with the stick, then I go back with a foundation brush and blend it in all over.  It creates a smooth even canvas.  For areas where I want a little more coverage I’ll apply a little more.  If you’ve been looking for a foundation that’s easy to apply, gives a dewy look but still offers stellar coverage- this is it!  I wear the color Atelier III.

Ilia Beauty Clean Line Liquid Liner is one for the books!

Ilia Clean Line Liquid Liner

If you’ve been following me for a hot minute then you know I love all things Ilia!  They really are one of those brands that easily transitions from conventional to clean beauty quite easily.  It doesn’t feel like you’re sacrificing at all.  I felt like I had tried their whole line except their Clean Line Liquid Liner.  I kept hearing how amazing it was but had yet to try it.  It has everything you could want in a liquid liner in my opinion!  While most liners can be a paint brush for an applicator, Ilia’s is a felt tip applicator.  This makes it so much easier to apply and get the winged eyeliner look.  So much more control.  I also love the longevity on this liner.  It really lasts the whole day!  I can put it on at 8 am and by 8 pm I still have the winged look going on.  (note: I always prep my lids with a translucent powder to soak up all the excess oil first before applying liner).  This is my favorite translucent powder.  I can’t recommend this liner enough!  It does what it’s supposed too and so well.

That sums up my Credo Beauty Favorites post for this month!  Be sure to check back next month for another faves post.  I’ll be sharing it every month.
