Beauty Heroes: Blissoma
We are seeing Blissoma in this month’s clean beauty box!
I was so excited to see Blissoma in this month’s Beauty Heroes box! I had only tried a handful of products and was eager to try some more. The line started out of a personal need by the founder, Julie Longyear. She not only wanted to create a line that was bioavailable but also that wouldn’t complicate her skin even more. She created green beauty emulsions to meet her skincare needs and the rest is history!
Photonic Light Shifting Solution, SPF 25- This was definitely a hero product for Beauty Heroes as they don’t give just any SPF product a hero status. This SPF 25 solution does so much for the skin. From protecting it with mineral zinc, to nourishing it with red raspberry, argan oil, tamanu, and sesame. Plus, it has black tea, gotu kola and hydrangea that work together to help protect the skin’s barrier function. It’s a one two punch for your skin! It goes on sheer and feels so hydrating but not greasy at all. It’s perfect right before makeup or for a day at the beach!
Aura Phyto Brightening Serum- This serum both protects your skin as well as brightens it. It is packed with minerals, antioxidants and vitamins- 14 to be exact! What makes it unique compared to other formulas is it’s complex antioxidants. The formula works to help fade hyperpigmentation, and melasma. It is meant to help support Photonic. You can wear it underneath- it feels so light. I love applying right before my moisturizer. It complements the skin so well!
