Beauty Heroes was founded by Jeannie Jarnot. A longtime spa director herself and healthy beauty expert. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeannie last year at IBE, and she is truly one of the sweetest people. Beauty Heroes is a monthly beauty service that selects only the best clean beauty brands. Each month you can find one to two full size truly heroic products in each box. The products typically range from skincare to haircare products. However, every 3 months Beauty Heroes offers a makeup box as well that’s optional for members or non-members. I absolutely love their “Use Less, Love More” philosophy. By only getting one or two products, you allow yourself to truly experience them. Of course you can trust their picks, as they are strict on their integrity standards. What’s not to love about this whole concept? As a Beauty Heroes Ambassador, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of such a movement.
Blissoma Refine Clay Renewal Treatment- This mask pulls out impurities but then adds what your skin needs back in with minerals. The formula uses whole plant extracts and phytobotanicals in their creations. The clay in the product is Moroccan rhassoul clay. You can use these mask for many things, from a spot treatment, to deep pore cleansing to sloughing off dead skin cells.
Graydon Face Glow- This tinted moisturizer has a slight tint that works for all skin types. It isn’t so hydrating that it feels greasy like a lot of tinted moisturizers. This is very light. It soaks right into the skin. It has a slight rose gold sheen too, that really adds to the overall glow affect of the product. Besides an overall glow, you’ll also get some serious vitamins for the skin like vitamins A, E & B12. It also helps to protect skin from the elements and from free radical damage. It’s basically a moisturizer with that has it all! It even acts like a primer before your foundation. This is how I like to use it best. It really helps to even out skin and add the perfect base before adding in a foundation.
Innersense Organic Beauty Detox Hair Mask- This is my new favorite hair product I discovered this year! I was so excited to see it included in Beauty Heroes line up for this month. It’s unlike any product I’ve used for my hair. Having fine/thin hair my hair can easily get weighed down. This instantly helps to detoxify it and remove build up. Leaving it bouncy and not weighed down. I use this every week to really help give my hair a good clean. I start at the scalp and massage in and then work my way down my hair shaft. Then I leave it on for 5-10 minuets. You will love it!
Nopalera Moisturizing Botanical Bar- Noaplera celebrates Latin culture and draws inspiration from the ancient symbol of Mexican culture, the nopal cactus. The nopal cactus is one of the most sustainable, nourishing, and resilient crops in the world. This Moisturizing Botanical Bar uses this ingredient and uniquely formulated plant butters to offer a zero-waste deeply moisturizing experience. I love how they really focus on zero waste! I love how moisturizing it feels even though it’s a bar soap.
Violet’s Are Blue Eye-Luminating Gel Cream- I was so excited to see this eye cream in the box! I had read rave reviews about it and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I love first that it’s a gel like texture versus a heavy cream. As someone who has suffered from milia under my eyes I have to be careful of the type of eye creams I use. If they’re to heavy then they will cause me to get milia. This is the perfect consistency with the gel-like cream. I also love how it feels cooling to the touch and sinks right into my under eye area. It instantly perks up my under eye area and gives it an overall brighter look. I’ll love applying this at night and in the morning. I’ll be sure to report my thoughts as I’ve used it longer!

Biophile is in this month’s Detox Box!
This month we are seeing Biophile in the Detox Box this month. This skincare line is unlike anything I’ve used. It uses power of bio-fermentation and nature to create a skincare line that uses pro-microbiome. This means formulas that are more sustainable, compatible to the skin and potent. Bio-Shroom Rejuvenating Serum- This serum is loaded! It really win’s you heart over at first use! It does so much for the skin. From exfoliating, hydrating and prepping it for skin products to follow. It has completely loaded with active ingredients! The biotic broth has a combination of Chaga, Reishi and Tremella Mushroom extracts. These are all bio-processed with probiotic bacteria that makes a fermentation broth that is full of adaptogens, antioxidants and lactic acid, plus hydrating fungal polysaccharides that nourish the skin and support the overall biome of it. The formula also has some serious actives such as Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Tripeptide-8, and N-Acetyl Glucosamine, plus prebiotics. It’s amazing how there is no preservative because of the nature of fermentation- one is not needed. It is self preserving. I apply this on my skin before an oil or moisturizer. It feels rich and luxurious on the skin really prepping the moisture from the oils and creams to seep in. My skin just eats it up!
