I was so excited to see the brand Arcana in the Beauty Heroes box this month! I had yet to try the brand and had heard great things! I love the philosophy of Arcana. They really consider the whole landscape when creating formulas. They want several uses for products. As Erin the founder states, “We never wanted to be a problem-solution brand. We wanted multi-use formulas that worked for a myriad of skin types and conditions.” Who can’t get behind that?!
Lightwave Enzyme Cleansing Balm- I have been on the edge of my seat to share about this cleansing balm- seriously!! I have about 1/4 left of this magical balm- it’s so good! I love using cleansing balms in general since I have dry skin. It always helps to balance my skin and really leave it feeling completely clean, yet not dry. This one is especially great because it emulsifies slightly as you add water to it, helping to turn it into this creamy texture and really get off all the makeup and grime from the day. It even removes all my eye makeup! It is a different consistency compared to traditional balm cleansers. It has a slightly lighter feel to it- more like a gel. I think this really helps to not only brighten the skin but also easily rinse it off. You don’t just have to use it as a cleanser, but also as a mask too! My skin has been eating this up.
Holocene Intense Lipid Repair Balm- This balm could not have come at a better time! Really. My skin has been extra dry as the seasons have changed and I recently got a cold that has had me blowing my nose more than I would like. This of course has resulted in red and dry skin. Not a pretty sight! I have been lathering this on day and night and it has been amazing! So protective and nourishing. It contains rich murumuru and ucuuba butters sourced from the Amazon. This is perfect for acne skin or normal to dry skin. Really, the best time of year to be receiving this as our skin this time of year can always use a little extra tlc.

The Detox Box
When I found out Athr Beauty was inside The Detox Box, I was just a tad pumped! If you’ve followed me for a hot minute you know I love their eyeshadow palettes. I’ve raved about them in the past and of course, what was in the box? One of my faves- the Rose Quartz Eyeshadow Palette! Read below on why I love this brand.
Rose Quartz Crystal Gemstone Palette- Aether Beauty is a sustainable clean beauty brand that was founded in 2018. For this company, being sustainable goes into everything they create – the formulas, the ingredients and even the zero-waste, recyclable packaging (no mirror or magnets makes it FULLY recyclable)! The Rose Quartz Crystal Gemstone Palette features the perfect mix of shimmers and matte colors, not to mention a great range of colors. This would be perfect even if you have mature eyes as the shimmer shadows aren’t sparkly looking but more subdued. With ingredients like shea butter, rosehip oil and coconut oil, the formula feels so silky smooth on the skin. Trust me, you’ll be hooked after your first swipe.
Desert Moon Illuminating Oil- A nourishing dry oil that helps that quickly absorbs and can be worn in so many ways! You can apply before you apply your makeup for a glow or after to highlight specific areas of your face. It helps to illuminate your skin, but not in a teenager sparkle kind of way, but a lit from within glow. Who doesn’t want to have glowing skin?!
Radiant Ruby Lip Creme- These are high performing lip cremes that not only leave your lips feeling smooth, but also plump them up and offer high pigment. They offer a great lustrous finish and are great for wearing over your favorite lip balm for even more hydration.

Boxwalla
We are seeing two brands in this Boxwalla’s Box! Cipher Skincare and Skin Alchemists. I wanted to point out that Boxwalla is unique because it’s a bi-monthly clean beauty box as opposed to being a monthly box. I’ve found many people gravitate towards a bi-monthly box more.
Cipher C-Shield Refining Antioxidant Serum- This antioxidant serum is loaded! If you’re not familiar Cipher is an Australian company. C-Shield is a lightweight water-based serum that works to not only brighten the skin, but also moisturize and smooth at the same time. It also helps to support the skin barrier as well. Let’s get into the antioxidants! It contains 2 gentle but powerful antioxidants. Sodium Ascorbic Phosphate and Ascorbic Glucoside. These two work together to help prevent free radical damage, and help to combat breakouts. Not only that it also helps to reduce redness and increase hydration. Plus, it helps to increase cell turnover which retexturizes the skin. I feel like there is nothing this power packed serum doesn’t do! It feels so rich on the skin. I love how it soaks in but also feels like it’s very nourishing!
Skin Alchemists Time Traveller Renewing Face Cream- This cream feels so hydrating on the skin! Not only does it hydrate, but it also helps to target wrinkles, blemishes and oxidative stress. I love that it has a base of Colloidal Silver and Black Seed oil. These two help to clarify the skin and renew it. The cream is packed full of star ingredients from the plant-derived retinol bakuchiol, to Rosehip and Seabuckthorn. Plus, it has Cupuacu butter that softens fine lines even more and helps improve firmness in the skin. I can’t forget one of my favorite ingredients, squalene! i love how hydrating this oil is. I use this after I’ve cleansed my skin and in the final step of my routine. It feels so decadent on the skin and nourishing!
