Native Sunscreen Review

Native is a brand that started with offering body products and their line now includes mineral sunscreens too! And as summer approaches, I am sharing a full Native Sunscreen Review.

As summer approaches, I’m on a mission to find a few good sunscreens, so today, I’m sharing my review of Native sunscreen. It’s a triple threat kind of sunscreen as it’s formulated with clean ingredients, it’s accessible, and it’s effective.

Native Sunscreen

Native offers both face and body mineral sunscreens that are SPF 30. I love that I get to choose if I wanted a scented or unscented version. The sunscreens are effective, easy to find and don’t leave a white cast! Such a great product for an affordable price.

Native Brand

When Native brand founder, Moiz Ali, saw that aluminum was in his deodorant, his curiosity turned into a mission. A mission to make a clean deodorant. Now Native has a whole line of personal care products including sunscreen.

What I love about Native is that they are committed to creating simple yet effective products and they continue to reformulate based on customer feedback.

Native makes zinc oxide sunscreens along with a variety of other personal care products that are suitable for sensitive skin, dermatologist tested, and free of oxybenzone, octinoxate, and avobenzone.

Not at all. After it dries, it actually feels a little matte, not greasy.

What are other reviews saying about Native sunscreen?

Overall, people are loving Native sunscreens with only a few buyer beware reviews. Here’s a snapshot of what people are saying:

  • This is my favorite mineral sunscreen. I have the rose scent for my body and got the unscented for my face. It doesn’t irritate my skin and doesn’t leave a white cast.
  • Can’t even try the product because the pump wouldn’t work.
  • I purchased this hoping to use it as my only lotion. Unfortunately I still have to apply a lotion before I put this on, or else my face is dry and itchy within about ten minutes.
  • When initially buying this scent I was worried that the smell might be too aggressive but luckily the scent is very subtle. The sun screen stays on even when in the water for a long time! Will definitely buy again when I run out.

Curious as to whether you have seen any comments re Native zinc sunscreen. We were so enthusiastic to use it because it goes on clear. We all burned within 3 hours of using while reapplying during the 3 hours.

      Hi Theresa,

I’m so sorry! I’ve personally used it and haven’t had that experience. I wonder if it was a bad batch? Did you contact them? I would!
