Best Natural Skincare Of
Beautycounter’s Countertime Collection
This was in my top 5 and for good reason! It’s meant to hydrate the skin, deliver anti-aging ingredients like peptides, antioxidants and plant-derived retinols. Check out my full review here. This line doesn’t mess around!
Live Botanical First Light Brightening Serum
This serum is one of Live Botanical’s newest items. It came out in the fall and is so good. I didn’t change anything in my routine except this product. My skin looked brighter, more even and less red. It’s a game changer!
Tata Harper’s Clarifying Mask
This mask is I had tried this once before this year but nothing more. It had been a small sample. Then I got a full jar and lets just say, it quickly dwindled! This helps purify pores, detoxify the skin and leave you with an overall glow. Can’t get enough! This one’s good! Ok- they’re all good. Sorry, it’s going to be hard to choose. This mask I discovered last year and let’s just say we’ve become fast friends.
I had already tried a lot of Tata Harper and was surprised I hadn’t tried this mask. I got a tip that I had to try it from another skincare guru- us skincare junkies stick together! Anyways, I tried and instantly was wondering why I had never done it before. The name is kind of deceiving. It is a clarifying mask but not your usual clay masks that dry your skin out- you know what I mean. Instead it feels more like a peel almost. Your skin feels smooth, decongested, less red, and pores minimized. I also love the glow it gives me. You know when you’ve had a hard night, maybe a hard week- this mask is for you.
So last August I was introduced to Fleurs d’Afrique Intensive Recovery Oil. Let’s just say it was definitely a green beauty standout! I even included it in my best of clean beauty 2018- it’s that good. It was really the first plant-derived retinol that I used that blew me away besides Countertime from Beautycounter that blew me away. I would literally recommend this oil to for any skin type. Whether you have sensitive skin, acne, mature, dry or oily. I also love their Resurrection Cell Recovery Serum. It is a gel serum that can be worn under the Fleurs de’Afrique or any other oil and helps to plump, hydrate and deliver antioxidants to your skin.
I’m starting to wonder what it can’t do! It feels so refreshing and moisturizing on the skin. The biggest takeaways from the serum is how hydrated and rejuvenated my skin feels after using. The fine lines in my skin are all filled in and smooth. It’s really like a primer before I put on my makeup! It also really brightened my skin. I can’t get enough.
Josh Rosebrook Serum Spray
I was so excited when Josh came out with this product this year. This is a heat protectant spray, anti-frizz spray and curl smoother. I was really excited to use it as a heat protectant as I haven’t found one in clean beauty that works. It helps to nourish my hair while at the same time fighting the frizz.
Ursa Major Sublime Sage Deodorant
This deodorant totally took me by surprise. I thought I wouldn’t like it because it was a spray deodorant but I was wrong. It works so well! Even my hubs said how much he loved it and now we both have been using it everyday. We both love how it doesn’t leave a residue on our clothes. Something that we both have struggled with when testing out past deodorants.
Beautycounter’s Counterman Line
This line came out early last year and my hubs has been loving it. He uses so many of the products but his favorite is the oil-free lotion. It doesn’t leave an oily residue on his skin and he loves that! A lot of lotions in the past would leave his skin feeling greasy but not this one.
