Hair

Tools

Hair tools are really important and can make or break how healthy your hair is.  In the past I would see a lot of people come to me with unhealthy hair and they were using hair tools that were causing more damage.  A good hair tool can make all the difference!

Here are some of my favorite hair tools:

Shield Life EMFreedom Hair Dryer-

This is such a great all around hair dryer.  I really like to get a low EMF one if I can.  Blow dryers are a big culprit when it comes to EMF exposure. If you want to learn more about the harmful affects of EMF’s check out my blog post here.  This blocks 75% of EMF’s from getting absorbed into your body.  It does it through copper infused barrier that directs the EMF’s away from your body.  Bonus you can get it on Amazon!

Teasing Brush-

If you have fine/thin hair then this brush is your best friend!  I use it to tease my hair on top to add volume.  It works so well!

Blow Dry Brush-

This brush I discovered a year ago and I haven’t looked back.  I use it every time I blow dry my hair- I can’t be without it!  It helps to dry my hair faster!

Curling Irons-

I love these curling irons.  They work great, come in a variety of sizes and aren’t outrageously expensive.  Also. a side note for those who have fine/thin hair.  I use a 3/4 inch barrel on my hair.  I’ve found that this size is really great for those who have fine/thin hair.  It does give you a more curly look initially but then I brush it out and it looks more tousled.  I like it though because my curl will actually stay.  Otherwise if I curl it with something bigger my hair tends to fall easier.  I’ll curl my hair and then brush it out with the teasing brush.  It gives me a wavy look versus ringlet curl look.

Flat Iron-

I really love this flat iron!  I’ve been using it for a while and it just works so well.  It has slightly rounded edges so it’s really versatile for curling or flat ironing.  I find to get the really undone imperfect waves, you need a great flat iron.  Also, preferably one with slightly rounded edges.  This also helps to seal in moisture and not strip your hair.  So crucial if you flat iron your hair a lot or have color treated hair.  Trust me, you will love it!

Rubberands-

I find a lot of hair ties are just too big for my hair.  These ones are just the right size.  If you have fine/thin hair you feel me on this!  I prefer a clear hair band too.  I love using these for easy top knots.

No Snag Rubberbands- These are great if you have thick hair.  A lot of rubber bands can pull your hair and snag it. These are amazing at not damaging your hair but keeping it up.  Check them out here!
