Art of Organics October Box: Reset

Art of Organics October Box: Reset

The Art of Organics October Box: Reset is here!  I love the name of this box.  Reset in my mind is the perfect description to describe this season transition from summer to fall.  Back to routines and a time to “reset” in so many ways.  My skin is resetting too after the warm summer months. In this box the skincare products represent the perfect example of adding a little more to your skincare routine for the cooler temps. It’s time for a skincare RESET.

If you aren’t familiar with Art of Organics and this green beauty box, then keep reading as I explain why this box is one to get a hold of.  Their belief is really simple-You shouldn’t have to sacrifice your health for beauty.  I couldn’t agree more!  Their goal is to bring people the cleanest, best, and most luxurious products.  Claire the founder, has always been a beauty junkie and on the quest to purge her own makeup bag, she realized she wanted to share her journey with others and raise awareness.  I noticed instantly after opening the box, the attention to detail.  They name their boxes each month as well as follow a theme.  The card inside describes the products in the box so well and gave directions for application.  The box is $38, with a value of $70+ and features each month 2-4 full size products.  They have high standards for their product selection, such as being cruelty free, organic and non-toxic.  They have more specifics on the ingredients they don’t use here on their website.

Art of Organics green beauty box review

Art of Organics October Box: Live Botanical Luna Renew Concentrate.

Live Botanical Luna Renew Concentrate-

This concentrate is so lovely.  I was excited to see Live Botanical in this month’s box.  You all know I love this brand!  I’ve had the pleasure of trying this special product before and can attest to it’s wonders.  This moisturizer does so much from hydrate, deliver antioxidants to the skin and provide anti-inflammatory properties.  What doesn’t this little concentrate do?  I love applying it in my final step of my skincare routine.  My skin is left feeling supple, smooth and completely moisturized.  I wanted to describe exactly what Luna Renew Concentrate is but I thought Carolyn the founder of Live Botanical did a better job than I could…

Luna Renew Concentrate is a long and slow infusion of organic Rose, Chamomile and Lavender flowers in organic, unrefined, cold pressed Chia, Camellia and Jojoba oils create a decadent and nutritive base. Delivers powerful whole plant compounds to heal and protect the skin.

The product comes housed in a dark glass jar.  It is a orange hue in color, from the carotenoids- an amazing ingredient that helps repair skin from UV damage, as well as environment and stress.  Plus, it gives your skin a serious glow! I think we all could use a little Luna Renew in our lives.

Art of Organics October Box: Honua Skincare AINA Mask.

Aina Mask by Honua Hawaiian Skincare-

This mask is gentle but also delivers nutrients to the skin.  It helps to purify your skin while at the same time nourishing it.  This mask is made with Kalo powder which helps to nourish the skin with phytonutrients, minerals and vitamins A + C.  It also has coconut charcoal that helps to detoxify the skin.  Besides detoxifying the skin it also includes a blend of hawaiian raw honey and tamanu oil that help to soothe the skin.  A great product compliment to the Live Botanical Luna Renew Concentrate.

Art of Organics August Box: Sultry

Art of Organics August Box: Sultry

Art of Organics August Box: Sultry is here!  This box is named Sultry and what a perfect name.  The box contains a hair oil, and body oil from Prim Botanicals.  I was first introduced to Prim Botanicals body oil years ago, but their hair oil is a new product for me.  The scents and packaging of Prim Botanicals really evoke a tropical vacation and the summer sultry weather we often have.  So the theme of the box Sultry couldn’t have been a better pick!

Let’s talk about the August Box…

Prim Botanicals The Body Oil-

This is a new body oil for me as I mentioned.  It comes in a beautiful glass spray bottle.  I love the spray application!  It’s rare to find a body oil with a spray application but I find I’m always drawn to a spray applicator.  When I first smelled the body oil I thought it might be too strong for me.  But then as I wore it, the scent really melted into my skin and created such a lovely scent- meshing with my own pheromones.  I apply it right after I shower to slightly damp skin.  When your skin is damp it really allows the body oil to seep right into your skin. You’re left with skin that is soft and supple.  I mean the softness really lingers!  My skin felt great the next day even.  The scent is a mixture of wild rose, jasmine, bergamot, and spicy black pepper.  You could say I’ve been wearing this body oil nonstop!

Prim Botanicals Hair Oil-

I am familiar with their hair oil from years ago.  First of all the scent is amazing!  I want to wear it as a perfume…oh wait I do! The scent is a blend of vanilla, orange, rosemary, and black pepper.  Subtle but so enticing.  I don’t use hair oils that often just because my hair is fine and thin but I do find there are times that even this fine haired gal needs a good hair oil.  Specifically when I’ve been outside a lot and the sun has done a number to my hair.  Sometimes it needs a good hydration session and a good hair oil is just the ticket.  I also love applying a hair oil before going in the pool where there is chlorine water.  The chlorine can discolor my blond hair at times and this helps to protect it by repelling the water from absorbing.  I also love how this comes in a squirt application!  So much easier to avoid over using a lot.

Bonus- I’ve found the hair oil to be amazing for my skin too! 😉

This month’s box will have you feeling sultry all over!  Plus, smelling amazing!  Be sure to grab your box here before they’re gone!   Not only do you get quality products each month from Art of Organics but for a steal. On to the review…

Ok, so this month is such a fun change of pace for the Art of Organics Box.  We are seeing some great multi-use products and travel products.  Perfect for keeping your toiletry bag not overloaded but having each product serve a purpose.

First we’re seeing Kahina’s Undereye Prickly Pear Seed Oil Rollerball. You all know what a huge fan I am of prickly pear seed oil.  This oil is rich in vitamins K and E and not only hydrates the eye area but helps with dark circles and fights further damage.  Plus, it comes in the cutest little rollerball.  Since the rollerball is stainless steel it actually works to de-puff the eye area as well.  I just applied it all over my eye area with the roller ball.  Then I would take my ring finger(least muscles) and tap the oil into my skin.  It’s not greasy and absorbs within minutes.  The perfect little travel companion to pop in your makeup bag.  It’s also organic!  Oh and I also stored it in the fridge and would apply in the mornings for maximum de-puffing action-it helped!  Kahina really goes the extra mile to not only create products that are effective but also sourcing the finest ingredients.  This has become a fave!

Next we’re seeing Babe Balm in the box.  This is a new brand for me. But was excited to use it.  First off the smell is amazing!  I get citrus and vanilla all wrapped up in one- so good.  There are only a handful of ingredients too which I love and did I mention the packaging?  SO cute!  A bright orange little tube.  So what can you use this for?  Well, really the question should be what can’t you use this for!  I used it on my skin as a hydrator, on my brows to keep them in place, on top of makeup for a little highlight glow, remove my makeup- rub the balm all over my skin and then use a warm washcloth to wipe off skin.  The sky really is the limit on how you want to use it.  Such a great product to travel with!

Finally we are seeing Odacite’s Immediate Skin Perfecting Beauty Masque.  This mask comes in a travel packet, great for when your jet setting and want a quick mask.  This mask really does it all!  From giving you a quick glow, exfoliation, helps boost collagen, and purifies the skin.  Pour the contents into a bowl and add a little water until the consistency is what you like.  I love this in the morning after a workout to get my skin looking happy and bright!

Last but not least we are seeing a fun travel bag this month in the box!  The travel bag is from Piece & CO organic cotton travel pouch.  Love that this bag is made by hand by artisans in India.  The tassel on the bag is so chic!

I would hop on this month’s box soon if you’re thinking about snagging one.  If you haven’t signed up for Art of Organics box you can sign up here!  Don’t miss out on this fabulous green beauty box!  Not only do you get quality products each month but for a steal. Art of Organics October Box

Art of Organics October Box

So excited to share Art of Organics October Box with you guys as an ambassador!  I’ve sampled the boxes before but never had the privilege of being an ambassador.  This box is changing the green beauty scene and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part!  This month there are two outstanding products taking center stage.  The Vitamin C Serum by Ursa Major and Afar Lush Balance Toning Mist.  Before I dive into these two gems, let me fill you in on what the Art of Organics box is all about.

Ok, shall we proceed to the review?

Ursa Major Vitamin C Serum-

I was fortunate it enough to have the pleasure of sampling Ursa Major’s Vitamin C Serum this last summer when it came out.  It truly is a special product.  It contains a water-soluble form of vitamin C that guards against free radical damage, as well as edelweiss, a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect the skin.  It doesn’t stop there, the formula also contains properties like rose hip, aloe and aspen that help to fade lines and calm inflammation.  I love the smell of citrus- it instantly wakes you up!

I applied 1 pump onto my skin after toning.  I would make sure my skin was pretty dry when applying.  Then I would follow with my favorite oil.  I found I needed a bit more hydration, especially now that the season has changed.  I noticed improved skin texture, and an overall brightness.  Such a great overall serum packed with vitamins to feed the skin and soothe it.

Akar Lush Balance Toning Mist-

This organic toning mist is all around dreamy!  It’s so much more than a toning mist in my opinion.  It feels heavier than just a simple mist and I love that feeling. The formula is made from plant stem cells that create cells to be repaired and rejuvenated.  After applying my skin feels hydrated and balanced.  The rose and neroli in it even help to minimize pores too!  I love applying this right before my serum or oil at night and right before my moisturizer in the morning.  The smell is so lovely as well.  With notes of neroli and rose that both soothe and uplift you.  They even suggested misting over makeup to set it and it worked beautifully.  I love a good pick me up spritz in the afternoon as well!

That concludes my review of the October Art of Organics box. The value and quality of this box is amazing!  This month alone was a $94 value!  You pay $39 each month and get access to some stellar products!  You can sign up for 3 months, 6 months and 12 months!  At 6 and 12 months you start saving.  Also, each month a theme is chosen around the box.  This month the theme was all about PROTECT.  Really protecting your skin from free radical damage, and yet at the same time brightening it!  Also, as a subscriber to Art of Organics you get 15% off all store purchases of green beauty products- talk about awesome!  Sign up here!
