Beauty Heroes: July Discovery Graydon

beauty Heroes review

Sharing all the details on Beauty Heroes July Discovery with Graydon.

I was so excited to try this brand out.  I had only tried one product in the past from Graydon.  I loved learning the story of how Graydon came to be.  She actually was in culinary school when she fell in love with superfoods.  She was also a yoga teacher.  She combined her love for real food, yoga, and beauty and started to create skincare formulas. Her superfood line of products grew beyond just her friends and family into a full fledged skincare brand.

Fullmoon Serum- The heroic product is just that, heroic.  This serum really does it all.  From helping to protect the skin as well as treat it.  Malachite and blue tansy help to guard against the environment, while vitamin C, plant collagen, and oligopeptides create a glowing, more firm and overall smooth skin.  I was impressed with it’s plumping qualities too.  It helps to give skin a supple lift in my opinion with hyaluronic acid, plus phyto-retinol that’s extracted from moth bean extract.  I was so excited to see the moth bean extract in the formula!  Research has shown that moth bean can help to restore collagen production- sign me up for that!

I really can’t recommend this serum enough.  I feel like the results from using it are pretty quick.  Many times you’ll hear of a serum being great but not seeing results for a while.  Not with this one!  I noticed my skin looking brighter and more even within 5 days.  Truly a heroic product that does what it says it will do!

Green Cream- This cream is no sidekick in my opinion. It really stands on it’s own so well. This isn’t your average moisturizer.  The ingredients include squalene, moth bean again, chlorella and bakuchiol- just to name a few.  This is also an anti-aging powerhouse with not one but two phyto-retinols, moth bean extract and bakuchiol.  It’s not an overly heavy cream at all- great for summer months when you still want to feel hydrated but not drenched in moisture.  I also love how it feels slightly cooling on the skin.  I would cleanse my skin, apply a hydrosol, then apply the Fullmoon Serum and follow with the Green Cream.  My skin loves it!  This is a powerhouse for combating aging skin.

Guess What?!  Beauty Heroes is now offering a month membership!  In the past you had to sign up for 3 months in order to get the box.  But now you’re able to just buy the current month’s box.  It is a little higher of a price at $58.95 but also without the commitment.  I am excited about this new change as I know a lot of people wanted to just get certain boxes in the past.

This box this month is a no brainer!  This box is valued at $130 but you can snag it for $58.95.  The savings is insane and the products speak for themselves.  As I like to say the proof is in the pudding!  This really is such stellar box- I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell out!  Hop on it now if you’re thinking of getting it. The Detox Box: Herbivore Botanicals

July Detox Box

This Box is one for the books when it comes to natural skincare!

This month The Detox Box really hit it out of the park!  I have only tried a handful of products from Herbivore Botanicals and I must say all the one’s I’ve tried I’ve been super impressed with.  When I saw that the box contained a sampling of their natural skincare staples I was elated!  I’ve been wanting to try several of the products in the box for quite some time. Included in this box was an array of facial oils and an exfoliating serum.

Prism- This is a fruit acid exfoliating serum.  It gently exfoliates the skin using vitamin C-rich kakadu plum and hydrating botanical waters of aloe and rose.  It’s such a unique product! The combination helps to resurface the skin and bring an overall even skin tone.  You don’t rinse it off after applying.  You apply it and then let it absorb into the skin.  Great for sensitive skin and those who prefer a mild exfoliation.  I noticed a subtle glow to my skin after using it.

Phoenix- This oil is their regenerating oil.  Great for dry and sensitive skin types.  It’s a heavier oil, but my skin has been needing some extra hydration so I love it.  It doesn’t have a long ingredient list but the ingredients listed are robust.  From rosehip seed oil, meadow foam seed oil, chia seed oil, and CoQ10 just to name a few.  It feels rich and luxurious on the skin.  I applied it morning and night.

Orchid- This facial oil is great for all skin types.  Although I wouldn’t recommend it for oilier types as it does have coconut oil.  Coconut oil is high comedogenic and can trigger acne for those who are sensitive to it.  It has a flowery scent.  It isn’t overpowering.  It really gives skin an all over glow instantly.  I loved seeing orchid extract in the ingredient list, a natural humectant that draws moisture to the skin.  Camellia seed oil also is a great oil for skin, quickly absorbing and giving skin a luminous glow.

Lapis-  I saved Lapis for last because I loved it!  If you’ve followed me for a while then you know I love blue tansy.  This oil contains blue tansy and really is an all around all star when it comes to soothing and hydrating the skin.  I’ve always been drawn to blue tansy because of it’s soothing and calming properties.  Especially when it comes to redness.  Something I’ve struggled with for a while.  This is a great oil if your skin is angry or red and irritated.  Not only will the blue tansy help to calm and soothe it but also the kukui nut oil and squalene.  Great for oily skin types as well.  My skin drank this oil up!

I would snag this box up quick!  Such a great variety box that allows you to discover many different products from one line without the high price tag.  The box is valued at $134 but you can get it for $55!  A huge savings.  Snag The Detox Box here!
