Credo Beauty- Clean Beauty Faves-
Sharing all my top fave clean beauty brands from Credo Beauty.
This is a new favorite of mine! It literally takes me a minute to do my brows- which is pretty awesome. I really wanted to find a natural brow pencil for my readers because a lot of them struggled with brow gels. I really love Beautycounter’s Brow Gel but I know for some the application can be tricky. I really wanted something straightforward for people. This Ecobrow Defining Crayon is it!
It looks natural and doesn’t look fake or drawn on like so many eyebrow pencils can. One end is the crayon and the other end is the spooly for brushing the product through the hairs. I wear the color Penelope but I’m getting the color Liz in the mail too- I think I might need something a little more ashy. Penelope has a touch of redness. I’ll keep you posted. They offer 6 colors so you’re bound to find one that works for you. This comes in at $26! Check them out here!
Say goodbye to puffy eyes and dark circles with these eye gels! Not only do they help to minimize unwanted bloat under the eyes but they also brighten the whole eye area. I love using these first thing in the morning. I apply them right before I start brushing my teeth. My eyes feel more awake and vribrant. These are especially great for travel! Airplanes are so dehydrating and can really suck all the moisture right out of you. These are great to do while flying or when you land for an extra surge of moisture. One of my secret weapons to looking awake even with small kiddos. They’re $12. Get them here!
I mean if you’ve followed me for a hot minute you know I can’t get enough of Kosas products! They remind me of my conventional favorite MAC products. From the packaging to formulas. I love their Tinted Face Oil– a hydrating spin on foundation that feels light and leaves you glowing. I thought I wouldn’t like it originally but after using it I realized how wrong I was. The formula is a lot thinner than I expected. It reminds me of Gressa’s foundation consistency. I always say Gressa’s foundation reminds me of paint thinner. Haha, I know a crazy example. The Kosas Tinted Face Oil offers such good coverage, a lot better than I thought. It gives my face an overall polished and pulled together look. Plus, it looks so dewy and fresh. My skin literally looks like it’s glowing! Especially great for skin in the winter as it gets colder. I also love their lipsticks! They’re definitely a go to of mine in clean beauty. Their formula is unlike any other. Not too hydrating where they bleed but moisturizing enough. I’m also digging their new lip glosses! They are more of a serum than a lip gloss feel- which I love. It not only plumps your lips, but hydrates and treats them with nourishing oils. Check out all of Kosas here!
If you haven’t tried this Sublime Sage Deodorant- you need too!
I’ve tried a handful of Goop products and every time I try a new one I want to go back for more- they’re SO good!
Whoah…this shampoo is unlike anything I’ve used. First it comes in a round jar- not a bottle. I didn’t even realize it was shampoo at first but then I read the label and was very intrigued. Of course I had to get it! It’s not even a liquid in texture but feels more like a facial exfoliant in texture. It has tiny pink Himalayan salt crystals in it too. Plus, it has cold-pressed moringa oil, and rose hip oil. I literally just thought how it this going to clean my hair? But it did! And so well. You want to make sure your hair is completely damp and then apply some of the product onto hair and massage in. It forms a great lather. Your hair and scalp feels squeaky clean afterwards. It smells minty fresh with peppermint, orange and geranium. I love it! It really is such a revolutionary product. Plus, how awesome for travel?! I also love their Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator. It’s like a mini facial in a jar! It instantly gives your smoother, brighter skin in a matter of minutes. Get it here! Check out all of Goop products here.
Their spray deodorant just launched last year and I remember getting it in the mail thinking there is no way this is going to work! I had used spray deodorants in the past and they were horrible. I smelled like all the things midway through the day. Oh how I was so wrong about this product! The first time I used it I realized by the end of the day how I didn’t smell. I had my hubs try it to make sure I wasn’t missing something. Same experience, no smell. Safe to say we are huge fans! My hubs new favorite deodorant. He also likes it because it doesn’t stain his clothes like other natural deodorants. Get it here!
This 3 Minute Flash Mask gets you glowing in 3 minutes flat- just like the name suggests. It’s perfect for the most sensitive skin types. Worried your skin might react to a harsh exfoliant? This may be the one for you. Using enzymes to dissolve dead skin cells, this mask does it all in 3 minutes! It looks like a gel and feels light and refreshing on the skin. If you’re perpetually running late, this may be the mask for you too- I mean who doesn’t have 3 minutes?!
I recently discovered the Golden Hour Recovery Cream a couple months ago and have been loving it. This has been the perfect moisturizer to add on top of my oils in the morning and at night for a little extra hydration. I even used this when we were up in the mountains sledding for the day and it kept my skin feeling so hydrated and protected. Not only does this cream moisturize but also provide great anti-aging benefits with it’s naturally rich antioxidants. It seeps into my skin so well, and doesn’t feel greasy. My hubs has been stealing this from me too-that means it’s good people! He can be pickier than me at times. Check out all of Ursa Major’s products here!
When it comes to hair Innersense knows how to create great products. I use some many of their styling products on the daily. I can’t get enough of their I Create Lift Volumizing Foam. This foam is the best for giving your roots and hair the body and volume that lasts all day! Literally my hair will still have volume after a couple days. The best volumizing hair product I’ve found in organic beauty. A lot of times I’ll wash my hair and then blow dry it before bed. Once I’m done blow drying it I’ll stick it up in a high pony tail. In the morning my hair is full of body from being up in the pony tail and using the volume foam- it’s so good! I also love their Inner Peace Whipped Cream Texturizer for defining my curls after styling and smoothing away frizz without greasiness. Their I Create Waves Salt Spray is another favorite. I spray this in my hair after styling and it gives it the beachy look so effortlessly. Check out all of Innersense here!
Alpyn Beauty is a new clean beauty brand that delivers!
I first tried their Survival Serum and thought wow, I need to try more. It left my skin glowing with an overall brightness. So then I tried their PlantGenius Melt Moisturizer and yet again was so impressed by how it performed. My skin was left hydrated and not greasy feeling. It it heavy enough to moisturize but light enough to wear during the day time or over your favorite facial oil. Your skin feels silky. I also have since fallen hard for their Line- Filling Eye Balm. This eye balm is so unique. It looks similar to a cream but it’s not. It is lighter in texture and soaks seamlessly into the skin. I pat it on with my ring finger- the finger with the least amount of muscles, so less chance of pulling the delicate eye area. It brightens, hydrates and de-puffs. Not too mention, the long term benefits of faded fine lines- yes I’ll take it! I use this morning and night and have no plans of stopping- addicted. Shop all of Alpyn Beauty here!
I was introduced to Beuti Skincare a couple months back and didn’t think much until I started to use their Beauty Sleep Elixir Oil product and was wowed. The Sleep Elixir feels rich on the skin but not overly oily. It sinks right into my complexion and leaves it feeling dewy and with a glow. I’ve never read so many rave reviews about an oil- for real! It has over 305 on Credo Beauty’s website. It’s definitely a fan favorite. I apply it at night after cleansing and toning and in the morning after cleansing and toning. It’s made especially for sensitive skin tooThen I did a deep dive into the brand to discover more and had to share an official Beuti Skincare review with you. I then learned that Princess Kate loves the Beauty Sleep Elixir too- not surprised! I then tried there Pomegranate 3-in-1 Enzyme Cleanser and was once again sold on another one of their products. I am still using both products daily! I use the Enzyme Cleanser in the morning. I love how it really wakes up my skin and doesn’t feel stripping. Yet, it doesn’t feel super oily right before I apply my makeup.
This new Ilia Super Skin Tint is giving me all the feels!
This skincare line does no wrong! I discovered it 3 years ago and haven’t looked back. I love their Super Couple Serum– an incredible antioxidant serum/oil for your skin that transforms it. This is the serum that started my infatuation with Maya Chia! I did a whole YouTube video on this product. So why all the fuss? You can watch it here. I noticed hyper pigmentation fade and an overall glow to my skin. Also, their Optimist Hydrating Essence is a standout. This gem is housed in a dark glass bottle, preserving every last drop of goodness. Smells divine with hints of neroli, sweet orange, and ylang ylang. The formula itself feels so hydrating on the skin and refreshing with white tea, antioxidants, fatty acids and phytonutrients- just to name a few. I can’t forget the actual spray function. It works so well! I know it might sound funny, but after trying hundreds of mists in my day, the spray function is actually quite important. You don’t want the mist to feel like it’s attacking your skin or spraying you in the eye! I also can’t get enough of their Supercritical Omega-3 Chia Face Oil. It moisturizes like none other. Perfect for those with extra dry skin.
I’m also obsessed with their newest product- the Straight A Serum This is Maya Chia’s newest product. I have been using this for a while and definitely can speak to the overall experience of it. It contains the plant retinol bakuchiol which I’ve used before in other skincare products and it also contains moth bean extract- another plant derived retinol. But it also contains an advanced retinol using an encapsulated Retinol. This is a derivative of Vitamin A without BHT. BHT has been shown to cause live damage in rats even in small amounts. Plus, the supply chain with BHT is very unstable. Besides the powerful retinols it also contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E. These brighten the skin and help fade hyperpigmentation. You’re also going to get some serious hydration from this serum with Buriti oil, and chia seed oil. Check out all of Maya Chia’s products here!
This makeup line is a definite fave in clean beauty! It combines the sought after pigments from conventional beauty with clean ingredients. Their liquid True Skin Serum Foundation is one of my absolute favorite foundations in clean beauty. It performs so well and looks so natural on the skin. I also love their new liquid chromatic eye tints. They stay put the whole day which is hard to find in a liquid eye product. They also are a great base before eyeshadow. It gives the skin a radiant glow. Their True Skin Radiant Priming Serum is another favorite as well. It provides a smooth canvas for your whole complexion before foundation. I also love their Limitless Lash mascara! It has a patented brush that helps to curl your lashes on one side and lengthen on the other.
The color hazes are amazing too. These are a newer product by Ilia as well and they definitely live up to the hype. They look like a lipgloss. They come in a variety of colors. I have three, Waking Up, Before Today, and Sing. They have five colors total. You can really make a statement with these depending on how much you apply. If you want a subtle look, just blend a swipe of color and then blend out. If you want a more dramatic look, apply more for a pop of color. They also work for cheeks or lips! They give a great matte lip effect for the lips. The formula is so creamy. I love how they feel on the skin. The longevity on these is awesome too! Check out all of Ilia Beauty here!
These Kosas bronzers have been in heavy rotation in my natural beauty routine!
This natural skincare line combines modern science with the natural ingredients found in nature. I love this line because it really aims to solve skincare problems and not just be another natural skincare line. It’s effective and natural- the best of both worlds! I love so many products from them. From their Soothing B3 Serum that has 10% Niacinamide- a natural form of vitamin B that helps with acne and inflammatory skincare conditions, Barrier Lipid Complex– this helps to restore the barrier function of the skin, something that is often missing when your skin is inflamed. I also love their oil cleanser. It’s unlike any oil cleanser I’ve used. It not only is an oil but slightly emulsifies when mixed with water to form a subtle foam. They even have an E.O. free version for those that can’t do essential oils. Check out all their products here!
This is another brand that isn’t at The Detox Market. I love their body waxes. They are hydrating and soothing. Depending on what your body needs, they treat the skin. I love their Bleu Body Wax. It uses blue tansy and blue yarrow to help soothe the skin. It smells amazing too! It melts right into your skin. Can’t get enough! I also love their Sen Face Serum. It was in my best of clean beauty 2018! The face oil sinks right into your skin and nourishes it and leaves my skin glowing in the morning. Check out all of Khus Khus products here!
Tata Harper Skincare line is one of those lines that is a hallmark in clean beauty. It’s been around since almost the beginning. Effective and natural skincare products that really treat the skin. I love their clarifying mask– it helps detox the skin, and give it a glow all at the same time. Last time I was at Credo in San Fran the esthetician there said this mask was her fave! I was so excited to hear as I always sing it’s praises too. I also can’t get enough of their Resurfacing Mask. It literally gets your skin glowing in minutes. Need to brighten up your face? This is the mask. I put it on before a night out, or in the morning to wake my skin up. I also love their regenerating cleanser. A bestseller in their line for sure. It uses BHAs and apricot microspheres to gently buff the skin and get rid of dead skin cells. Check out all of Tata Harper here!
That sums up my Credo Beauty clean beauty faves! I hope you found some products you want to try and save some money on!

Sharing the best of clean beauty at Credo Beauty!
The best natural shampoo and conditioner’s post is here! I have all the details on all my favorite natural shampoos and conditioners in clean beauty. I’ve tried a lot of shampoos and conditioners in my day since going green and I’m here to share the best of the best!
If you’re new here I want to emphasize a couple points. There is a reason I advocate for clean products for SO many reasons but one of them is the total body burden. Many product and ingredients have an accumulative affect on the body. Basically, the more you use them, the more they add up in your body. My goal is to arm you with healthier options that you can feel good about using daily so you’re not taxing your body. After all, it’s the thing you do daily that adds up over time, not the product you use once in a while.
One of the newest natural shampoos and conditioners I’ve discovered and love!
Since we know shampoo is one of those daily products, I think it’s imperative that we have a look at what shampoo we’re using. Do the ingredients create a healthy environment for our bodies? What does the research say about the ingredients? We know from studies that as we reduce certain ingredients in our products, then you see them less and less in our bodies(source).
The scalp is 4 times more absorbent than other parts of our body, it’s important what we use when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. A study even showed how massaging a certain oil with a medicine into the scalp was absorbed almost the same as an oral dose(Source)! Definitely showing the power of the scalp to absorb ingredients.
Before we dive into the best natural shampoo and conditioners, let’s take a look at the ingredients you don’t want to be lurking in your shampoo bottle.
What’s In Your Shampoo?
Have you ever thought about what’s in your conventional shampoo and conditioner? Let’s just say there are some heavy hitters when it comes to ingredients you’re going to want to avoid putting near your scalp! Allow me to explain.
Some Ingredients To Avoid In Your Shampoo and Conditioner: If you see a few of these you can know that there are probably other ingredients in it you shouldn’t be using too.
- Methylchloroisothiazolinone- This is used as a preservative. It can have a harmful affect of the lungs(Source), cause allergies(Source) and is a possible neurotoxin(Source).
- Sodium Laureth Sulfate(SLS)- This is a surfactant and helps to create the suds that we come to love in shampoos. The main concern with it is that it’s been shown to be contaminated with 1,4 dioxane, which has been classified as a carcinogen(Source). 1,4 dioxane is left behind because of the process of ethoxylation. Some companies have started to strip the sodium laureth sulfate from the shampoos but it’s hard to tell which have. You could definitely call them and ask, but make sure you have some documentation to back up their claims. The more people are asking for transparency the more change will happen. SLS can also be a skin irritant to many people as well. Especially if you suffer from eczema, rosacea, or sensitive skin in general. Instead of SLS, companies will use decyl glucoside. This is a type of sugar and doesn’t contain any 1,4 dioxane. It’s also a lot less harsh, so great for sensitive skin types.
- Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate- Similar to sodium laureth sulfate in that it is also a surfactant. It also can contain 1,4 dioxane and be irritating to the skin. ALS can also form nitrosamines when mixed with other ingredients. This nitrosamines has been found to cause cancer(Source). This can also occur when SLS is present too.
- Fragrance- Can cause phototoxic reactions and can be photoallergic. Skin irritants, reproductive damage and has been known as a neurotoxin(Source).
- Methylisothiazolinone- Used as a preservative. An allergen, causing skin burns, allergic reactions(Source).
- Behentrimonium Chloride- Used as an emulsifier, conditioning agent, defrizzer, and preservative. Skin and eye irritant, can cause nerve damage, cancer risk and highly flammable(Source).
- Polysorbate 20- By itself polysorbate 20 is not harmful, however when it’s used in cosmetics it’s treated with ethylene oxide which then ethoxylates it and can contaminate it with 1,4 dioxane- a known carcinogen(Source). There have also been studies on polysorbate 20 showing reproductive issues and developmental issues(Source).
- DMDM Hydantoin- It is used as an anti-microbial agent in products. It releases formaldehyde a known carcinogen(Source). Since most people know to avoid formaldehyde companies list their ingredients with dmdm hydantoin instead. It can cause skin reactions, from burning to skin rashes, overall sensitivity. Also cancer. It can also cause irritation to the nose, eyes and throat.
- Propylene Glycol-PEG’s of any kind- Has been found to be contaminated with 1, 4 dioxane, which is cancer causing. Can cause acne, skin irritant. They have a penetrating affect to the formula. This creates even more of a problem as other harmful ingredients are able to penetrate further into the skin(Source).
- Cocamide Mea- A fatty acid made from coconut oil mixed with diethanalomine. It creates a creamy formula and foaming agent. It can cause allergic reactions in some and be a skin irritant. It can also form nitrosamines when mixed with other ingredients. This nitrosamines has been found to cause cancer(Source).
- Parabens(not as prevalent as they used to be. This includes methyl-, propyl- ethyl-,butyl)- Used as a preservative. Hormone disruptor also known as endocrine disruptor. Has been found in breast cancer tumors, may cause male infertility and early puberty(Source).
- Quaternium-15- Used in products to avoid yeast, mold and bacteria. Skin and eye irritant, can cause respiratory issues, digestive tract and nervous system(Source). It also releases formaldehyde.

Give Your Hair Some Time To Adjust To Natural Shampoos
I get e-mails all the time from readers telling me that natural shampoos don’t work for them. Now, I understand it definitely depends on the shampoo and conditioner you’re using, but it also could be a phase you’re hair is going through. Hair can go through a detox period where it actually gets oilier before it gets better when transitioning to a natural shampoo and conditioner. Mainstream products are full of such harsh ingredients that strip the hair every time you use them. Your hair gets used to feeling “clean” you think, and so when you switch to a gentler shampoo and conditioner your hair freaks out. It’s used to constantly being dried out everyday and used to overcompensating by producing more oil to nourish your hair again. Give your hair 6-8 weeks to detox. This means stop shampooing your hair everyday-yes this is not necessary and actually could cause more damage to your hair. Shampoo every other day at the most and in between days if you get oily, just use a dry shampoo. This is my favorite natural dry shampoo. You may notice your hair greasier than usual, but that is because your hair’s ph balance was out of balance from all the harsh chemicals you were putting on it everyday. Give it some time…it will get better!
I always think a good clarifying treatment is in order every now and then too. Sometimes when using natural shampoos the hair gets weighed down, no matter how great they are! This gives it a nice boost, getting rid of any residue that’s been hanging on to your strands. I do this whenever my hair is feeling drab. The recipe is easy just 1 part apple cider vinegar to 1 part water (I usually use 1/2 cup of each but you may need more if you have thick or long hair). Mix it together and pour over head concentrating on using your other hand to rub it in your hair. Let it sit on your hair for 10 minutes. Then rinse off and apply conditioner as usual. I’ve also added it to a squirt bottle and then just squirted it all over my head too.
*Also I wanted to share that I’m a former hair stylist and so this best natural shampoo and conditioners list is legit! I really took my time- over a year to create this post. I wanted it to be a comprehensive list that anyone can find something.
I wanted to offer a shampoo and conditioner for all of these categories:
- Budget Friendly
- Fragrance Free(even essential oils)
- Curly Hair
- Fine/Thin Hair
- Color Treated Hair
- Purple Shampoo
- Black Hair
I hope you can find this best natural shampoo and conditioner’s post helpful in finding your new favorite shampoo and conditioner!
Best Natural Shampoo and Conditioner’s
Natural shampoo and conditioner have come a long way in the last 10 years!
Natural Black Hair Routine
As I was trying out natural shampoos and conditioners I realized I had a blind spot when it came to black hair. I’ve had people ask me before what I would recommend as natural shampoos for black hair and I couldn’t. I didn’t even know what natural hair products in general to recommend for black hair. I wanted to enlist an expert. Monique from Brown Skin Green Beauty was so gracious to share her expertise with my audience on her top picks for best natural shampoo and conditioners for black hair. I learned so much from getting her expert tips on how to care for black hair.
Hi there! My name’s Monique, aka Brown Skin Green Beauty- Instagram @brownskingreenbeauty.
I’m an advocate of clean beauty and wellness. My journey into the clean space began 13 years ago when I had a horrible reaction to conventional hair care products marketed to Black women. It was then; I learned most Black hair care products were laden with chemicals that were not ready for the natural hair movement and unsafe for my health. Super excited to learn more, I dove right into understanding how ingredients worked and made the necessary changes to take better control of my health and improve the health of my hair and skin. I created Brown Skin Green Beauty
to share my experiences with safe alternative beauty products to inspire other women, especially Black women, to go beyond the bells and whistles and learn more about clean and nontoxic options for beauty.
Since losing my hair two years ago, not only has my wash day been simplified, but the products I use are lightweight, oil-based, and more plant-based instead of the heavy cream products that once served my hair needs.
The first step to my wash day is a pre-poo of coconut oil and aloe vera juice. I spritz my hair with aloe vera juice and work the coconut oil in my locks from base to end. This process helps to create a moisture barrier to keep my hair from drying out when shampooing. Next, I wash my hair with Nikki’s Naturals Black Soap Clarifying Shampoo. This liquid black soap gently clarifies without stripping my hair’s natural oil. My hair is left feeling very clean, soft, and moisturized.
To keep hair from overdrying, I wrap my wet hair in a cotton t-shirt to absorb most of the water. Once my locks feel damp, I oil my scalp with an oil mixture of Paparozier Castor Oil of Haiti, sweet almond, jojoba, peppermint, and rosemary. When styling, I spritz my hair with aloe vera juice and retwist with coconut oil to clean up my boxes and lock in moisture. At night, I wear a silky scarf to keep my hair lint-free. Every three days, I give my hair a light spritz of Al Wadi Rose Water and massage a light layer of avocado oil or coconut oil in my locs to keep them hydrated and well moisturized. On occasion, I’ll use Oyin Handmade Greg Juice for a moisture boost.

I tested out all of these as well as my sisters. I wanted to get an idea with different hair types. We tested the shampoos and conditioners together. Here are my top picks for best natural shampoo and conditioners.
Formula- I’ve been testing it out and have been super impressed with the overall formula. My hair feels so bouncy and clean. And the clean feeling lasts for days! I get so much volume from this shampoo and conditioner, plus it foams too!
Hair Type- Any hair type. I’ve used it and I have fine, thin hair. My sister has used it and she has thick, fine hair. I have a friend who loves it and she has coarse thick curly hair.
Scent- Smells citrusy. I really smell grapefruit to be exact.
Review- This is the shampoo I’ve been recommending for really any hair type. It just gets the job done! Especially great for someone who is used to mainstream shampoos and conditioners and wants one that is going to really get their hair clean. I can go multiple days between shampooing my hair with this shampoo. It was a no brainer for the best natural shampoo and conditioner’s post! Get it here!
Formula- It creates a gentle lather and helps to stimulate the scalp. It’s gluten free, nut free, and cruelty free.
Hair Type- I would recommend for any hair type. You might have to use a little more product if you have lots of thick hair to really get it in there but my sister with thicker hair than me loved it too.
Scent- Fragrance free! It doesn’t smell like much at all. Great for even the most sensitive scalps.
Review- I was really excited about this shampoo because it really hits all the marks for someone who may have a sensitive scalp and needs something that’s gentle. Although it is fragrance free, nut free and gluten free, it still cleans the hair so well! My hair always feels clean and it definitely adds some volume like the name suggests. This was a no brainer to add into the best natural shampoo and conditioners post. Highly recommend! Get it here.
Formula- It’s a very creamy formula overall. Best suited for those with dry, damaged or color treated hair that needs extra moisture.
Hair Type- I would recommend for any hair type that is colored or is curly. As I stated above it is very hydrating/ Great for those with curly or drier hair types.
Scent- Smells good, but not overwhelming. A fruity mango scent.
Review- This shampoo isn’t for any hair type. I will use it after I get my hair done for a couple days but after that if I continue to use it, my hair will become greasy and weighed down. I’ve had a lot of curly haired gals love it who have drier hair. Get it here!
Formula- It feels very refreshing on the scalp and hair.
Hair Type- This would be great for any hair type, even men’s hair. One of my sister’s has course thick hair and she didn’t like it, but it’s been hard to find anything for her hair! It’s not going to be as cleansing as the Evolvh but a nice in between.
Scent- The scent is reminiscent of the outdoors. More pine and fresh smelling. I love how it smells!
Review- This is such a good all around shampoo and conditioner. It really makes my hair feel clean and bouncy. Not a heavy shampoo at all. It still lathers a little too which I love. The conditioner is light, yet my hair still feels hydrated. My husband also loves this shampoo too. Get it here!
Formula- Comes in a jar! So different than any other formula I’ve used. It looks like a salt scrub you would use for the body but instead it’s actually for your hair.
Hair Type- This is great for any hair type. It really gives a great lather and works so well at giving my hair that clean feeling.
Scent- It has a fresh smell of mint, rosemary and orange.
Price- $42- pricey but you don’t need a lot!
Review- This is the one I was most surprised how much I loved. I knew it was going to be in the best natural shampoo and conditioners post.I remember seeing this shampoo and thinking there is no way that would work. Well, I was wrong! After reading so many 5 star reviews I finally got my hands on some and wow was I so impressed! It really cleans the hair so well. I love how it produces a lather too. It feels very invigorating on the scalp too. Highly recommend! Check it out here!
Formula- Comes in a tube and a little goes a long way. Suds up a little and gets my hair feeling clean.
Hair Type- This is great for any hair type. I used it and my fine, thin hair loved it and so did my sister with thick hair.
Scent- It doesn’t have a scent! It is made for the most sensitive scalps.
Price- $19.99- one of the more budget friendly picks.
Review- Love this shampoo and conditioner, knew it was going to go into the best natural shampoo and conditioner post! It gets my hair clean and doesn’t weigh it down. My sister loved it as well. Super impressed with the ingredients, no scent and lower price point compared to others too. Especially great if you don’t do scents or have a sensitive scalp. Get it here!
Formula- Comes in a pump bottle which I love. It’s a creamy formula, but does suds up.
Hair Type- This is great for any hair type. It adds a little moisture but doesn’t feel heavy.
Scent- Love the scent! I’m a huge mint fan and this one hits the mint note hard. Leaves your hair smelling fresh and your scalp feeling invigorated.
Review- This shampoo smells amazing! I love anything mint, so this is right up my alley. It really cleans my scalp and keeps it from feeling oily. My hair doesn’t feel weighed down either. It also comes in a pump which I love! Get it here!
Formula- It gives you a slight suds but you have to use a good amount of product to get it sudsy.
Hair Type- This is great for fine to thin hair types. I’ve had people with thick coarse hair try it and they weren’t a fan unless they had shorter hair.
Scent- It doesn’t have much of a smell. Just smells clean overall.
Review- This was the first natural shampoo I used that I actually liked and worked. It performs considerably well, and it’s filled with ingredients that will make you swoon! Things like Ungurahua oil, green tea, jojoba and lavender just to name a few. This is also safe for color treated hair. You do have to use a considerable amount of product sometimes to get a decent lather- that would be the one drawback and the price is a little steep. Get it here!
Formula- Love this shampoo! It really suds up, gets your hair feeling so clean and bouncy- say goodbye to grease.
Hair Type- This is great for any hair type. I love it for my fine/thin hair, my friend who has thick hair loves it- it’s a crowd pleaser.
Scent- The scent is subtle and good. It has a mix of ylang ylang, orange and lemon.
Review- This is one of my faves when it comes to natural shampoos! It works so well at giving hair that deep clean and giving it body and lift. I wish they hadn’t changed the conditioner. The formula was so good, but now it doesn’t hydrate the hair and feels like it’s a lotion you can’t get out. Just buy the shampoo and grab a different conditioner! Get it here!
Formula- This comes in a tube and does give a suds, but I do feel like you have to use a decent amount of product to get it sudsy.
Hair Type- I would only recommend this for fine, thin hair, or hair that is a little dry. It does tend to weigh it down after several washes. I wouldn’t use any of the other Acure shampoos because they really don’t give my hair the clean feeling. My sister didn’t like it at all and she has thick, fine hair.
Scent- Smells good, has a lemongrass scent.
Price- $9.99- the cheapest natural shampoo.
Review- I wanted to include a more budget friendly option, especially if you have kids that use shampoo and they’re not as picky. This is a decent option that gets the job done. You might want to do an apple cider vinegar rinse every couple weeks just to get rid of any build up. Get it here!
Formula- This really suds up and performs well at getting your feeling very clean- almost too clean? Kind of.
Hair Type- I would for anyone who has color treated hair- specifically highlights and wants to keep them bright and not brassy. It brightened my highlighted ends and offered them a refresh overall.
Scent- Smells very sweet- like grape candy.
Price- $15.90- that’s for the smallest size which is 3.3 oz. Not very much. Then you have to pay at least $20 for shipping to the U.S. since it’s only available in Australia. So it definitely can get pricey.
Review- I love the ingredients for the Berry Blonde Shampoo but I wish it was available in the U.S. You could stock up when you purchase it to make it a little more feasible. It does tend to get the hair really clean as I mentioned above, which I love but it can almost feel stripping if you used it all the time. I think it works though because you usually don’t want to be using a purple shampoo every shampoo- more like every two weeks to a month. Get it here.
Formula- This is a creamy texture overall. It does suds up a bit.
Hair Type- I would for anyone who has color treated hair. It helps to protect color treated hair while also nourishing it.
Scent- It has more of a gardenia flower scent to it.
Price- $38- this is definitely a pricey shampoo.
Review- This natural shampoo feels like a rich velvet lather on your head. It does clean the hair well, but doesn’t feel stripping at all. I like to use this post getting my hair colored to really give it some extra nourishment. It will help to keep your hair balanced if you’re a consistent hair color gal. Get it here!
Formula- This is a great leave in conditioner and the only one I use! You spray it all over, super convenient!
Hair Type- I would recommend for anyone wanting a little extra hydration, for those who get tangles easily in their hair, or for those who prefer a leave in conditioner opposed to a wash out conditioner.
Scent- It has a light scent of jasmine, and rosemary. Not too heavy.
Review- I always have a bottle of this on hand. Great for my girl’s hair when it gets tangles in it. Easy to brush out, doesn’t feel too heavy for a leave in conditioner but lightweight. Also great for spritzing on hair before going into chlorine water to help protect your hair. Get it here!
That sums up the best natural shampoo and conditioners! Did you find one you want to try? What do you love?

Another month down brings the best of clean beauty September! Does anyone else feel like the months are flying by?! I am a fall lover so this season is giving me all the feels. This month there were so many products! I feel like a broken record because I say this every month, but truly there was so much. I usually get this out on the blog by the end of the month but September was crazy, so here we are in October. Needless to say, this best of clean beauty September is going to be a good one.
I’m dishing on a low EMF hair dryer, organic shampoo and conditioner, a serum that has significantly lightened my hyperpigmentation and lipsticks I can’t stop wearing.
Keep reading to check out all the goodness!
Best Of Clean Beauty September
A clean beauty shampoo that delivers? Yes!
Ursa Major Shampoo and Conditioner
This shampoo and conditioner just works and that’s saying a lot for a clean beauty shampoo and conditioner. This is such a good all around shampoo and conditioner. It really makes my hair feel extra clean and bouncy. Not a heavy shampoo at all. It still lathers a little too which I love. It smells of citrus mixed with fir- it reminds me of a pine forest smell. I really love the fresh scent! The conditioner is light, yet my hair still feels hydrated. My husband also loves this shampoo too. I have fine/thin hair and it really gives it the clean feeling. If you’ve been around clean beauty for any length of time then you know it can be hard to find a shampoo and conditioner that gets the job done. Get it here!
This serum is one for the books!
This formula is so good! I was introduced to it by Beauty Heroes and have since not been able to put it down. I used it consistently for months and I kept looking at my skin thinking, wow it’s never looked better! Trust me, that’s saying a lot considering I’m always analyzing my skin in some way or another. My skin looked bright and even and my hyperpigmentation on one side of my face was virtually gone. I couldn’t believe it! I’ve always struggled with hyperpigmentation on one side of my face. So seeing it so even was amazing! This is a serum so it has a smaller molecular size than other products so it’s able to seep deeper into the skin and really deliver nutrients. It’s filled with all star ingredients like pomegranate juice, hibiscus extract, rose and neroli flower waters, Vitamin B5, and white tea extract. The hibiscus extract is especially great because it contains Vitamin C which has a brightening effect on the skin, as well as giving it an overall brightness. I would put this on at night right before my oil or moisturizers. It also works so well right before make-up too. Can’t recommend it enough! Get it here.
Ursa Major’s Golden Hour Recovery Cream Consistently Delivers and is a fraction of the cost of typical face creams.
Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream
As the seasons change, so does my skincare routine. This has been the perfect moisturizer to add on top of my oils in the morning and at night for a little extra hydration. I was so impressed with how well it worked and how my skin felt so hydrated but not overly. Not only does this cream moisturize but also provide great anti-aging benefits with it’s naturally rich antioxidants. It seeps into my skin so well, and doesn’t feel greasy. My hubs has been stealing this from me too-that means it’s good people! He can be pickier than me at times. What’s even better is the price tag on this cream, $48! I can’t get over the price tag. I’ve tried so many facial creams and the price is typically $100 or more for a good one. A steal for a clean beauty cream that works and is full of skincare actives. Check it out here!
These lipsticks are my fave!
As fall has arrived I’ve been busting out all the lipsticks! I feel like the season change to cooler temperatures and fall leaves always calls for richer pigments. A lipstick does just that. One of my faves is Kosas Lipsticks. I may have every color! If you follow me then you know I love a good Kosas lipstick. These lipsticks are highly pigmented, last and plump the lips all at the same time. They come in so many great colors too. Honestly, I haven’t found a color I didn’t love. Some lipsticks feel too heavy, or not hydrating enough- Kosas really nailed the formula on this one. Everything you want in a lipstick- but clean! Often I don’t have time for a full makeup look but I have time for a swipe of lipstick- pulling my whole look together. Check out all the colors here.
This hair dryer is making all my hair dreams come true!
I’ve been wanting this for quite some time. My hair dryer finally gave out and I knew it was time to upgrade to the Elchim. As a former hairstylist I have had my fair share of hair dryers in my day. Having learned more about EMF’s I also knew I wanted one that wasn’t going to give off high EMFs. I had researched about hair dryers and came across the Elchim. Not only is it a high quality hair dryer- it’s made in Italy which is always a good sign, but it gives off low EMFs as well. As I’ve learned more and more about EMFs it was really important to me to get a low EMF hair dryer. Since I blow dry my hair fairly often I knew I wanted to decrease my overall exposure as much as I could. I found with many low EMF dryers you were either getting low EMF and horrible hair dryer quality or higher EMF and great hair dryer quality. I of course wanted the best of both and I think I found it! Elchim not only produces some of the lowest EMFs for a hair dryer but it actually performs by being fast drying, quiet, lighter weight and powerful. It has 2 air speed options and 3 temperature settings. It has a ceramic and ionic system that helps to dry hair quickly and close the cuticle. My hair is shiny and bouncy! The drying time is 30% less than the average hair dryer. I’m basically obsessed with it! If you’re in the market for a new hair dryer- look no further! Get it here.
That sums up my best of clean beauty for September! Did you see anything you’re wanting to snag? What are you loving lately?

Sharing the clean beauty box roundup October on the blog! This month we are seeing some new products. I have tried a lot of clean beauty products, yet it’s amazing how many brands I still haven’t tried. If you’re new here, each month I review the best clean beauty boxes in natural beauty. Giving you a run down of all the boxes and what’s inside them. There are 4 boxes that I always share about, Beauty Heroes, The Detox Market Box, Boxwalla and The Clean Beauty Box. Beauty Heroes and The Detox Market box are monthly boxes, Boxwalla and The Clean Beauty Box are bi-monthly boxes.
Up first is Beauty Heroes and Boxwalla.
*Don’t forget to check back for full reviews on The Detox Box and The Clean Beauty Box.
Clean Beauty Box Roundup October:
One Love Organics is debuting in the Beauty Heroes Box this month with a new product!
One Love Organics has been around since clean beauty started. They were one of the first brands I tried. I was excited to see them in the Beauty Heroes Box this month. Suzanne the founder of One Love Organics started her company in 2010 with the idea that consumers shouldn’t have to look far to find products that were good for them. She really took it to a new standard and created her own lab in Georgia that meets the ECOCERT COSMOS Organic Standard. She wanted to make sure the products were being created how she intended. Let’s dive into the review of the products in the box this month!
Gardenia + Tea Body Serum- I have long been a fan of their body serum- allow me to explain. The smell is insanely addicting! It smells like the tropics…I literally get taken away to Hawaii every time I use it. Hey, I’m not complaining! It isn’t a super heavy body oil, but a nice light oil that does the job of moisturizing. It also comes in a glass bottle…oh yeah, I’m three for three. And wait for it…it sprays as well. I know pretty amazing. I just love the spray feature, it makes it so easy to just spray all over and rub in. As a mama of there I’m all about quick and easy in my life. And when you travel it has this really nifty lock/unlock on the spray nozzle, so no leaking. Um, can you say hallelujah?! Trust me you need this in your life.
Botanical D Moisture Mist- This product was actually an accident but a very good accident! They had a hydrating moisturizer that wasn’t thick enough to be a moisturizer so they bottled it up and made it into the best moisture mist! Pretty brilliant. This makes the skin feel so dewy and hydrated. Preps the skin perfectly for serums or oils. It’s been especially great as the weather transitions. My skin needs all the moisture!
Love + Eyebright Serum Rollerball- This is the newest product from One Love Organics. It has been so fun to use! I love a rollerball as an eye product. I really feel like it’s doing so much. Not only does it impart product but it also helps to de-puff the under eye area with it’s cooling rollerball. It’s a two for one! It brightens with powerful botanicals like astaxanthin, green tea and moringa. It’s also scentless. I use it morning and night. I love how it feels hydrating but not too heavy.
That sums up the Beauty Heroes October box! Subscribe here to get it before they sell out.
This box was so fun! Loved discovering new brands!
Boxwalla consistently delivers new brands I haven’t tried and I love that! It’s so fun to really discover new products, especially since I usually end up loving them! This month we are seeing the brand Naturallogic and Fine. I hadn’t tried either and couldn’t wait to test them out. Naturallogic’s them is all about Nature in their products. They believe that holism, nutrition, and herbalism play a role and then modern science comes in to refine the process. They are serious about their ingredients serving a specific purpose. Fine Cosmetics is a German based skincare line. Creating products not only safe for the skin but also for the planet.
Naturallogic Unmask Detox Hydration Mask- This mask was such a treat to use! It really lived up to the hype. It feels detoxifying but not drying like so many masks feel. When I removed it my skin felt plump, cleaned out and glowing. But not stripped in the slightest. Often when you see charcoal on a label you might think the formula is going to be drying but not so with this mask. It also has aloe and niacinamide, both hydrating and soothing ingredients. It really does it all! Great for oily skin types or dry. I would leave it on for 20-30 minutes.
Naturallogic Elemental Advanced Hydration Red Wine Essence- This essence feels so luxurious. It’s made of red wine which is high in polyphenols and resveratol. This helps to fight free radical damage. It also contains polysaccharide rich red algae, Vitamin B3, aloe vera juice, licorice root extract- to name a few. These help to strengthen the barrier of the skin as well as moisturize it. It feels calming and soothing on the skin. Perfect before your serums and oils.
Fine Cosmetics Daytime Radiance Eye Serum- This eye serum is definitely a new fave! It feels hydrating but not overly. The product seeps into the skin so well and doesn’t feel greasy or leave a residue. It has an ingredient called Persian Silk Tree Extract that has been known to help minimize the appearance of crow’s feet, dark circles, and swelling. It also contains niacinamide, beet root extract and ashwaganda. It basically hits all the marks for a superb eye product. I use it morning and night. It settles nicely into the eye area before concealer.
This is another stellar box from Boxwalla! Snag it before it sells out. Get it here

I get asked this question a lot- what is the best heated eyelash curler? To be honest I had never used an eyelash curler, let alone a heated eyelash curler! My lashes have always had a natural curl to them, and I haven’t needed much else…or so I thought. But as the good clean beauty blogger that I am I wanted to test out some of the best heated eyelash curlers to bring you all some options. After all, a beauty blogger always has to be on the up and up!

I did some research trying to find the best heated eyelash curlers to test out. I wanted to make sure they had some amazing reviews but also weren’t going to break the bank. Plus, I wanted to try a few to give you some options.
These two heated eyelash curlers take the cake when it comes to performance!
I landed on two that I will share with you below. These definitely were well loved when it came to reviews on Amazon! Yes, I got them from Amazon.
If you’re wondering why you would want to get a heated eyelash curler- allow me to explain.
A heated eyelash curler will take your lashes from subpar to next level in a matter of seconds. It’s pretty impressive! I didn’t realize what I was missing. I always thought my lashes were pretty decent. As I mentioned above they have some natural curl to them and aren’t stick straight. However, after using a heated eyelash curler I realized what I had been missing out on! The heated eyelash curler straight delivers! My lashes looked bigger, longer and more dramatic. It was like an instant eye lift for my eye. I was surprised how quick the whole process was. I got two heated eyelash curlers from Amazon. This one and this one. I actually love them both equally and think you would be a fan of either that you used!
Check out the heated eyelash curlers here and here!
Take your eyelashes to the next level with these heated eyelash curlers.
How To Use A Heated Eyelash Curler?
You want to first add a coat of mascara to your lashes. Then set your heated eyelash curler to one of the settings. They typically have 3 settings depending on the one you choose. I would choose the hottest setting. It only takes around 15 seconds to heat up. Once it’s heated up, use the heated eyelash curler on your lashes. I would then take the heated eyelash curler and press it for 5 to 10 seconds on the bottom of my lashes(base) then go up to from roots to top of lashes several times to really help exaggerate the curl and lock it in. Then I would apply the second coat of mascara. The more you use it and play with it, the more you get the hang of how to use it! It’s really so easy.
The price of a heated eyelash curler is so small! Yet, so worth it. You can really change the whole look of your eyes using one.
These heated eyelash curlers take your lashes to the next level!
Did I Burn Myself?
I did not burn myself. I really think it would be hard to burn yourself. It does get warm but not scalding hot. I could see getting burned if you left the wand applicator on your eyelashes for too long but they tell you to only leave it there for 10 seconds or so. Plus, the more you use it the easier it gets to get the hang of it. As they say, practice makes perfect!
Is This For Me?
A heated eyelash curler is for you if you’ve dealt with straight lashes and have a hard time curling them. This could be your new bestie! Using a regular eyelash curler can curl lashes but not give the longevity or lasting hold and curl that a heated eyelash curler can give. Heating the lashes really makes a difference when it comes to getting the curl to stay put. Plus, if your lashes are straight, chances are they are a little more stubborn and harder to curl in general. Having a heated eyelash curl is going to give you that extra bit of oomph to really take your curling power to the next level.
My Sister’s Experience
This is my sister’s lashes before using the heated eyelash curler.
I had to have my sister test out the heated eyelash curler as well. She has very straight lashes and always has to curl them if she wants any sort of lift. I knew she would be a good person to test a heated eyelash curler out because she’s dealt with straight lashes her whole life. I bought her one of the heated eyelash curlers and had her test it out. She was impressed with the overall lift of her lashes. She could tell a difference when she used it, versus when she didn’t. I even had her take a before and after photo so you could see the difference in her eyes. It’s kind of amazing the before and after! It really does give her lashes lift and volume. This is the heated eyelash curler she tested out.
This is the after picture of my sister’s eyelashes once she used the heated eyelash curler.
Would I Recommend A Heated Eyelash Curler?
I would definitely recommend a heated eyelash curler! I think they can really give your lashes a boost and take them to the next level in a matter of seconds. Plus, they are a really good deal for what you get and easy to find since both of the ones I tested were from Amazon. If you’re wanting to give your natural lashes some curl and lift this is the best way. Check out the heated eyelash curlers I tried here and here. They both are so great- I don’t have a preference!

So excited to finally share my skincare fridge is it worth it post? I’ve been testing out a skincare mini fridge now for several months and I’m hear to share all the details on this skincare phenomenon that has swept through the past several years.
If you’ve never heard of a skincare fridge, allow me to introduce you to what I’m even talking about.
Suzi(Gurl Gone Green) is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
Mini fridges have been popping up recently all over for skincare products. Essentially you put them in your bathroom and store skincare products in them. I had heard about it a couple years ago but never really gave it much thought until I realized it was actually a thing! Yes, there are literally companies that make just skincare fridges. I knew I wanted to dive in a little deeper into it all and see for myself what all the fuss was about. I mean what kind of natural beauty blogger would I be if I didn’t try out the latest and greatest?
My newest obsession- my skincare fridge!
So I bought one and have been using it for the past 4 months. I wanted to give it a good amount of time to really see what I thought and if it was worth the hype or not. I wanted to share my experience with you here in hopes that it will help you decide if you want to hitch your wagon to this new craze or not.
As I said earlier, a skincare fridge is essentially meant to house some of your skincare products and live in your bathroom. A fridge in your bathroom? Sounds kind of cool huh? Yes, well it does have it’s perks.
What Do You Store In A Skincare Fridge?
- Eye creams are great because when they have a cooling effect they tend to help de-puff the eyes, great for in the morning when you want your eye area to look a little perked up.
- Aloe is a great skincare product that can benefit from a skincare fridge. Sticking an aloe based product in the skincare fridge can help to enhance the product even more. Since aloe has a naturally cooling effect it can help to give it an even more soothing cool to the touch feel.
- Vitamin C products can especially benefit from being stored in the fridge because Vitamin C is very sensitive to light and heat. Sticking them in the fridge can help them not to oxidize as quickly.
- Gel skincare products are great as well as they naturally are meant to feel cooling on the skin.
- Skincare Tools. These are great to add to the skincare fridge. The cold stone on your skin as you jade roll or use a Gua Sha on your skin feels incredibly soothing and reviving to the skin. Especially great for in the mornings when you want your skin to feel awake and vibrant.
- Facial Sheet Masks. This feels so refreshing on the skin when they are a little cool on the skin. Even eye gel masks are perfect for adding to the fridge. Really helps to de-puff the eye area overall.
I love being able to get even more out of my skincare products with my skincare fridge.
A skincare fridge can help to preserve products. Natural skincare products especially are great for keeping in a skincare fridge since many of them tend to have less harsh preservatives. A skincare fridge helps to prolong the life of the skincare product and ward off bacteria. We know that light and heat can degrade a product quickly so we know the opposite is true for helping preserve them. Refrigerating skincare products can also help calm skin inflammation with the cooling effect of the products and constrict pores so they appear smaller. As you can see there are many benefits to having a skincare fridge.
What Skincare Fridge Did I Get?
I researched and read so much on skincare fridges. I really wanted to make sure I got a good one! I also had some things I wanted to make sure I got with my skincare fridge and I didn’t want to spend over $50. I saw some that I thought were really chic looking but they had horrible reviews or were over $100. I was bummed because I thought initially I would get one of them but as I read the reviews I realized they weren’t going to be worth it if they stopped working and they were pretty pricey! As I looked more and more the one that kept coming up and getting awesome reviews as far as longevity and price was Cooluli Mini Fridge(classic 4 liter small mini fridge). It also had a side shelf on the door and a shelf in the large compartment- both musts for me when I was looking for a skincare fridge. I’ve been super happy with the Cooluli Mini Fridge overall. It’s not loud at all, it has the shelves and it has a pink exterior which always wins in my book! It’s also big enough to store a good amount of skincare products but not too large where it takes up too much space in my bathroom. The Cooluli Mini Fridge also comes in other colors too if pink isn’t your fave.
*I also wanted to point out that you can also use your skincare fridge for heating items too. Sometimes you want a product to be a little warm- so this would be perfect for that as well.
Check out the Cooluli Mini Fridge here!
So What Did I Think Of My Skincare Fridge?
I was so excited to start testing out my skincare fridge. It sits right on my counter in my bathroom. I don’t have a huge bathroom by any means so it does take up some space but I’m willing to make the sacrifice! It doesn’t have a loud noise. I don’t really notice it’s even on. I stored my eye creams, eye masks, facial tools like my jade roller, and Gua Sha, and some of my aloe based masks.
I loved how the skincare fridge had a little shelf, plus a side shelf for eye masks or smaller skincare products. I would get out my jade roller first thing in the morning and it would feel so cooling on my skin- I loved it! I felt like it brought some blood flow to my skin compared to when I used it at room temperature. I also loved applying my eye cream as it felt so cool to the touch and made my eyes feel very awake. I also was so impressed with how cooling the aloe felt on my skin after being refrigerated! It really took it to the next level. Both my husband and I had burned our skin and I applied the aloe right away and it instantly took away the burn. I was so impressed! So was my hubs. There was no burning sensation at all after applying the cooling aloe. I also loved how my gel masks felt on my skin afterwards. It felt so refreshing. It definitely took some of my skincare products to the next level!
The real question now is a skincare fridge worth taking up extra space in your bathroom? Well, that’s for you to decide, but I will share my experience with you and what I think.
I love being able to have my skincare tools cooled for my skin.
Is it worth taking up the extra space?
For me it is worth it! I think the added benefit of having a skincare fridge really helps me look forward to using my skincare products even more. It’s fun to know that my skincare tools are in the skincare fridge and are going to feel cool to the touch as I use them. It makes the whole experience as I do it in the morning so much more therapeutic. I find I’m more consistent too.
Other Things You Can Use It For?
Once I got my skincare fridge I realized there were many other ways I could use it! If you were going on a road trip it would be great to store some food or drinks that need to be refrigerated, or in your office to keep some drinks cold. Also great for breastmilk storage! Yes, I went there. As a nursing mama I’m always thinking about scenarios where I might need a fridge, the Cooluli Mini Fridge makes it so easy. It’s nice having a small type of cooler that can keep things cool for long periods of time.
Skincare Fridge: Is it worth it?
For me it has been totally worth it, but I’m also really into natural skincare. If you prefer a more streamlined, simple skincare routine, then I could see how having a skincare fridge might seem like one more thing and not worth the hype. It’s up to you! I think it would be a great gift idea for those that are really into skincare. It would be a fun way for them to maximize their skincare products even more.
