If you’re not familiar with Credo Beauty, allow me to introduce them to you.  This is one of my favorite online natural beauty retailers.  They have it all when it comes to clean and effective products.  They’re like the Sephora of clean beauty.  All the “IT” brands in one place!

What makes Credo Beauty extra special is that they have a Dirty List like no other!

“Europe has banned over 1300 ingredients. The U.S.? Just 30. And Credo? Over 2700.”

The best part is that all of their brand partners agree to not use any of the 2700 banned ingredients on Credo’s Dirty List, making shopping with this retailer so much easier!

The Credo Beauty Clean standard goes even further than their Dirty List.  This standard includes the following:

• “Use official ingredient terminology (called INCI) and use ingredient source codes where possible
• Obtain documentation on their ingredients’ composition, purity and sourcing information
• Conduct basic consumer safety (on humans…that volunteer!) and product stability testing
• Back up product and ingredient claims
• Be transparent about “fragrance”—at a minimum they must categorize the type of fragrance they use, and we encourage full disclosure of all fragrance ingredients.”

Exa

Exa is on a mission to create beauty products for everyone that are not only clean but also are healthy for the planet.  The line is inspired by nature and its powerful ingredients. They strive to house their products in responsible packaging.  I love that they consider the product from sourcing to packaging.  Once you try their products, they speak for themselves!

Some of my faves from Exa:

• All Smiles Bare Lip Liner– I wear these literally everyday!  They go so well with a lipstick, or gloss or on their own.  The color pigments are so nice because they blend with the color of natural lips well.  It’s like your natural lips but enhanced!  I love the colors Bare Your Soul and Bare Your Strength- but they’re all good!

• All Smiles Universal Glow Lip Oil- These glosses are the perfect combination of gloss mixed with a nourishing lip oil.  Your pout will love them!  They don’t feel goopy like some glosses, instead they glide on so smoothly.  I love adding the color Dreamer on top of the lip liner or any lip color to give it a pop.  It’s also perfect on its own.

• High Fidelity Foundation- This foundation comes in 43 shades!  I love that they offer so many shades.  You are bound to find a matching color.  It gives a semi-matte finish that is buildable.  It wears so well.  By the end of the day the foundation still looks good.  Even though the longevity is great, it doesn’t look heavy on the skin.  I wear the color Katey 440.

• High Fidelity Balancing Color Corrector- I was beyond excited when exa came out with these color correctors!  There was nothing like it in clean beauty.  They really do such a great job of minimizing redness and brightening and more.  I use the pink and yellow the most. 

• Jump Start Smoothing Primer- This primer does a great job of filling in lines and creating a smooth canvas for foundation to go on.  I love that it helps keep my foundation looking fresh throughout the day and also moisturizes my skin beforehand too. 

Follain

Follain is a clean beauty brand that is not only budget friendly, but also effective.  From their hand soap to their facial products, I find myself recommending them a lot because of their price point and clean ingredients. 

• Eye Cream– This eye cream hits all the marks.  It’s not heavy, but soaks right into the under eye area.  It also is light enough where I don’t get milia. Plus, it’s budget friendly!  What’s not to love?!

• Everything Soap- I have used this for years and years. Their lemongrass scent is so good.  I always get compliments on it when people use it.  I get the large refill bottle and just refill my soap dispensers around the house.  Such a good gift idea too!

• Firming Serum- I had my husband try this serum and he went through an entire bottle!  He kept saying, this is good stuff!  I couldn’t agree more.  It helps to combat fine lines and wrinkles, while giving your skin a collagen boost.  There’s a reason it’s a bestseller!  And for $38, it’s hard to beat the pricepoint too!

• Hand Cream- This is your everyday moisturizing hand cream you will want in your purse, by your kitchen sink and by your nightstand.  It nourishes the hands so well and doesn’t leave them feeling greasy.  A great stocking stuffer too!

• Lip Balm- Another product that you’ll want in ALL the places!  This is such a great lip balm to wear by itself, or under your favorite lipstick or gloss.  Hydrating and lasts.  Plus, for $9- it’s easy to stock up!
