Another month down brings the best of clean beauty September!  Does anyone else feel like the months are flying by?!  I am a fall lover so this season is giving me all the feels.  This month there were so many products!  I feel like a broken record because I say this every month, but truly there was so much.  I usually get this out on the blog by the end of the month but September was crazy, so here we are in October.  Needless to say, this best of clean beauty September is going to be a good one.

I’m dishing on a low EMF hair dryer, organic shampoo and conditioner, a serum that has significantly lightened my hyperpigmentation and lipsticks I can’t stop wearing.

shampoo bottles

A clean beauty shampoo that delivers? Yes!

Ursa Major Shampoo and Conditioner

This shampoo and conditioner just works and that’s saying a lot for a clean beauty shampoo and conditioner.  This is such a good all around shampoo and conditioner.  It really makes my hair feel extra clean and bouncy.  Not a heavy shampoo at all.  It still lathers a little too which I love.  It smells of citrus mixed with fir- it reminds me of a pine forest smell.  I really love the fresh scent!  The conditioner is light, yet my hair still feels hydrated. My husband also loves this shampoo too.  I have fine/thin hair and it really gives it the clean feeling.  If you’ve been around clean beauty for any length of time then you know it can be hard to find a shampoo and conditioner that gets the job done.   Get it here!

This serum is one for the books!

Free + True Ramblin Rose Soothing Hydrating Serum

This formula is so good!  I was introduced to it by Beauty Heroes and have since not been able to put it down.  I used it consistently for months and I kept looking at my skin thinking, wow it’s never looked better!  Trust me, that’s saying a lot considering I’m always analyzing my skin in some way or another.  My skin looked bright and even and my hyperpigmentation on one side of my face was virtually gone.  I couldn’t believe it!  I’ve always struggled with hyperpigmentation on one side of my face.  So seeing it so even was amazing!  This is a serum so it has a smaller molecular size than other products so it’s able to seep deeper into the skin and really deliver nutrients.  It’s filled with all star ingredients like pomegranate juice, hibiscus extract, rose and neroli flower waters, Vitamin B5, and white tea extract.  The hibiscus extract is especially great because it contains Vitamin C which has a brightening effect on the skin, as well as giving it an overall brightness.  I would put this on at night right before my oil or moisturizers.  It also works so well right before make-up too. Can’t recommend it enough!  Get it here.

Ursa Major’s Golden Hour Recovery Cream Consistently Delivers and is a fraction of the cost of typical face creams.

Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream

As the seasons change, so does my skincare routine.  This has been the perfect moisturizer to add on top of my oils in the morning and at night for a little extra hydration.  I was so impressed with how well it worked and how my skin felt so hydrated but not overly.  Not only does this cream moisturize but also provide great anti-aging benefits with it’s naturally rich antioxidants.  It seeps into my skin so well, and doesn’t feel greasy.  My hubs has been stealing this from me too-that means it’s good people!  He can be pickier than me at times.  What’s even better is the price tag on this cream, $48!  I can’t get over the price tag.  I’ve tried so many facial creams and the price is typically $100 or more for a good one.  A steal for a clean beauty cream that works and is full of skincare actives.  Check it out here!

lipstick tube

These lipsticks are my fave!

Kosas Lipsticks

As fall has arrived I’ve been busting out all the lipsticks!  I feel like the season change to cooler temperatures and fall leaves always calls for richer pigments. A lipstick does just that.  One of my faves is Kosas Lipsticks.  I may have every color!  If you follow me then you know I love a good Kosas lipstick.  These lipsticks are highly pigmented, last and plump the lips all at the same time.  They come in so many great colors too.  Honestly, I haven’t found a color I didn’t love.  Some lipsticks feel too heavy, or not hydrating enough- Kosas really nailed the formula on this one.  Everything you want in a lipstick- but clean!  Often I don’t have time for a full makeup look but I have time for a swipe of lipstick- pulling my whole look together.  Check out all the colors here.

hairdryer

This hair dryer is making all my hair dreams come true!

Elchim 3900 Healthy Ionic Low EMF Hair Dryer

I’ve been wanting this for quite some time.  My hair dryer finally gave out and I knew it was time to upgrade to the Elchim.  As a former hairstylist I have had my fair share of hair dryers in my day.  Having learned more about EMF’s I also knew I wanted one that wasn’t going to give off high EMFs.  I had researched about hair dryers and came across the Elchim.  Not only is it a high quality hair dryer- it’s made in Italy which is always a good sign, but it gives off low EMFs as well.  As I’ve learned more and more about EMFs it was really important to me to get a low EMF hair dryer. Since I blow dry my hair fairly often I knew I wanted to decrease my overall exposure as much as I could.  I found with many low EMF dryers you were either getting low EMF and horrible hair dryer quality or higher EMF and great hair dryer quality.  I of course wanted the best of both and I think I found it!  Elchim not only produces some of the lowest EMFs for a hair dryer but it actually performs by being fast drying, quiet, lighter weight and powerful.  It has 2 air speed options and 3 temperature settings.  It has a ceramic and ionic system that helps to dry hair quickly and close the cuticle.  My hair is shiny and bouncy!  The drying time is 30% less than the average hair dryer.  I’m basically obsessed with it!  If you’re in the market for a new hair dryer- look no further!  Get it here.

That sums up my best of clean beauty for September!  Did you see anything you’re wanting to snag?  What are you loving lately?

Hi! Thanks for this great article. I’m actually looking for a new hairdryer and checked out Elchim. Do you think their newest model 8th sense with more temperature options and a new kind of motor is a better option than the model you recommended? Or did you choose this model on purpose?
    Thanks a lot!

I chose the model I did because it had been tested for low EMF’s I couldn’t find where the newest one had. 🙂
