The Goldfaden MD Vital Boost Even Skintone Daily Moisturizer is a newer find of mine. I was lucky enough to test out a couple of Goldfaden MD’s products this past fall and this was one of them! You have heard me rave about their Radiance Repair Serum (which easily made it into my Best of Clean Beauty for 2022), but that isn’t the only product I am loving. I also tested out their Vital Boost Daily Moisturizer and am sharing a full review on the product that claims to brighten overall skin tone, hydrate, and provide nourishment to your skin while also providing powerful antioxidant nourishment.

Key Ingredients
- Hyaluronic Acid- Helps to draw moisture to the skin and makes skin feel more hydrated and supple.
- Organic Red Tea Extract Complex- Red tea contains antioxidants and enzymes like Vitamin C, E and Carotene that give a brightness to the skin, but also help combat signs of aging.
- Oil of Grapefruit- Can contain antioxidants that help to fight free radicals as well as help with blemishes and cleanse the skin. It also helps to improve skin tone and overall appearance.
- Gooseberry Extract- This is full of Vitamin C which helps to brighten skin and give an even skin tone. It also gives a radiance and dewy effect to the skin.
How To Use
You want to apply 1-2 pumps of Vital Boost on cleansed skin to your face, neck, and decollete using gentle upward motions. You can use it morning and night.
After cleansing the skin you can apply a toner or hydrosol or skip then apply a serum if you have one or oil and then the Vital Boost Moisturizer. I love applying Goldfaden M.D.’s Radiance Repair Serum. This is like a big gulp of water for your skin! If you don’t have a hydrosol or serum, just apply the moisturizer right after you cleanse your skin. I like applying it in the morning and at night. My skin feels so moisturized throughout the day and in the morning it still feels soft and bouncy. As with any skincare product, you will see optimal results if you use it on a consistent basis.

All skin types. I have dry skin and absolutely love it but also have known people with combination skin that’s blemish prone and it works for them as well!

I checked out other online reviews to see how other customers felt about Dr. Goldfaden’s Vital Boost Moisturizer. On Amazon the overall rating was a 4.5/5 stars with over 300 reviews. Here is what other customers are saying:

The most common complaint I read was about the price of the product. They do offer a smaller size for $30 that you could purchase before investing in a larger bottle. That way you will know if it really works for your skin or not. And, don’t miss out on my code below to save you 20%!
There were also some complaints about the state of the packaging when the product was received.
Despite reading many reviews on how this moisturizer worked for different skin types, there was a person with sensitive skin that did break out from use. I also read that there were a couple of customers with dry skin that didn’t feel it moisturized their skin enough. Overall, there were far more positive reviews than negative.

I am so impressed with this moisturizer! I had heard rave reviews about it and when I finally got a bottle in the fall to test out I couldn’t wait to see what the hype was about. Let’s just say it did not disappoint. It works so well at adding moisture that lasts, but also brightens my skin unlike other moisturizers. What’s crazy is how moisturizing it does feel, without it being a heavy formula or feeling greasy. My skin feels so balanced. It feels light enough to wear during the day with makeup and heavy enough at night. It’s truly such a great product!

When I first got the moisturizer to test out, my initial thought was that there was no way it would be moisturizing enough for my VERY dry skin. Well, I was wrong! I couldn’t believe that a more light weight moisturizer would be enough, but it totally is. I prefer to use this moisturizer in my morning skincare routine. It works perfectly, especially paired with the Radiance Repair Serum. My skin feels moisturized and my makeup wears so nicely over it. Can’t recommend enough!
