Ursa Major Skincare
Founders Oliver Sweatman and Emily Doyle started their forest-infused, adventure-inspired skincare brand after leaving New York City for the mountains of Vermont. Ursa Major was birthed out of adventurous days on the trail and created to help anyone, anywhere, get a “healthy mountain glow”.
Ursa Major’s forest-infused formulas are pure, powerful and refreshing. Their commitment to clean formulations means that they don’t use petrochemicals, SLS, SLES, parabens, synthetic fragrance or color, silicones or PEGs.
If you go to Ursa Major’s site, you can click on any ingredient to learn more about each ingredient. I wish more brands made it this easy to gain a better understanding of the ingredients used in their products.

Review
I love how refreshing the scent is of the Fantastic Face Wash. You get hints of cedar and spearmint. It’s reminiscent of a gel face wash I grew up using. While I do have dry skin and tend to gravitate towards an oil cleanser or something a little more nourishing, I do appreciate how clean this gets my skin. It doesn’t feel super stripping either, compared to other gel face washes I’ve used in the past. I tend to like a gel cleanser in the morning during the warmer months when it’s little more humid out. I would definitely recommend this for normal to combination skin types.
If you do have dry skin it might be a little too drying overall. It removes all makeup which I love! My hubs loves this cleanser! It’s a good basic cleanser. Great for teenagers and young adults who are just getting started with skincare.

Review
They came out with this cleanser last year and I was so excited! Having dry skin I love anything milky or creamy- sign me up! This hits all the marks when it comes to leaving your skin nourished and not too taut or dry feeling. It comes in a luxe glass pump bottle which I love to. I apply one or two pumps onto damp skin and rub in circular motions. Rinsing with warm water. It’s a basic cleanser but a little creamier for the dry skin folks- I dig it. It smells like soap to me- nothing fancy. I love using this morning and night to get a good cleanse, yet leave my skin balanced.
Definitely two very different face washes that work will different skin types. So, you will want to assess your own skin type before selecting which of Ursa Major’s cleansers would work better for your.
For me and my dry skin, I will stick with the Making Moves Milky Cleanser the majority of the time!
