Sharing all the best for clean beauty for 2023 on the blog!
Another year gone by and so many products to share. Each year I share a glimpse into the previous year’s product roundup by sharing the best of the best. I vet each product and really scour to find what really stood out and made me stop in my tracks. This year was no different. I’m sharing the cream of the crop when it comes to clean beauty for 2023.

1. Maya Chia The Advanced Eye Response Complex
I have a love/hate relationship at times with eye creams. I will often like an eye cream but it will be too rich and give my skin milia. Not this one. I’ve been using it for months and no milia. While it is nourishing, it isn’t heavy or greasy. What I can attest to is a brighter under eye area, visible difference in my fine lines and a rested under eye. I even use the smallest amount in the morning before I put my makeup on to give my under eye area just enough moisture and not have it look dry and crepey under foundation or concealer. It wears so well under makeup as well!
It makes sense why it works so well. It has an encapsulated retinol in the formula that is BHT free, several peptides, algae polysaccharides, phyto-molecules, vitamin C, flavanoids, polyphenols, a proprietary amino acid blend, and clinically proven ayurvedic extracts- basically loaded with skin enhancing ingredients. I’m telling you- this is THE eye cream. I’ve tested so many and this one actually delivers!
2. Three Ships Brighter Days Red Algae + Avocado Biodegradable Eye Masks
I discovered these in August and I’ve pretty much gotten all my sisters hooked on them and my V.A.! I love that they stay in place on my eye and actually work! Say goodbye to puffiness and hello to brighter eyes. These eye patches are great as a mom who doing all the things in the morning and don’t want the eye patches to fall off. I can make breakfast for the kiddos, brush my teeth, change a diaper…all while wearing these beauties!
3. Frownies
I finally tested out Frownies this past year and let’s just say I was impressed – specifically with how it helped to smooth out my forehead lines. This is where I have seen fine lines start to form. By wearing the Frownies consistently on my forehead for months I noticed them smooth out and minimized. The Frownies also gave me a more lifted look overall. I was also more aware of what expressions were causing those specific fine lines too by wearing the Frownies and this helped me not make the expressions as much. All that to be said, I will continue to use them! I am impressed with how muscles will react when lifted or pushed.
4. Henne Peptide Face Cream
This was one of my newest finds for 2023 and it’s so good. I love how they spared no detail when creating it. From the sleek glass pump bottle that the formula is housed in, to the actual product itself- they thought of it all.
It contains peptides, but no synthetics, just pure pea peptides produced from fermentation. Peptides are great for the skin because they help to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, firm skin, and increase blood flow. The cream also has bilberry seed oil and watermelon that help to nourish and hydrate skin. After the first use I was hooked and haven’t stopped using it since! You want to use it before an oil, and after a serum. My skin feels so moisturized but not the least bit greasy. A total winner.
5. Gen See Mixed Media Liquid Eyeshadow
I found these when I was at a Credo Beauty store in Plano, Texas and we became fast friends after I used them once. I had never been able to find a cream shadow in clean beauty that actually stayed on and didn’t crease. That was until now! Gen See Cream Shadows are in a league of their own. You can use them to layer powder shadows on top, use on their own, or use as an eyeliner. They also have matte or metallic options. I love the matte versions for more mature eyes.
6. Gen See Cruise Liner Eye Pencil
Another Gen See product I couldn’t not include. Their Eye Liner is one of those products that I’ve been searching for in clean beauty for quite some time and finally found it! It’s a pencil liner that actually stays put on the skin. So many pencil liners would fade on me but this one lasts. It also glides on so well. I always prime my lid with a translucent setting powder like this one, to ensure I get the most wear time from a liner, or shadow. I have this in black and brown and they’re both great!
7. Crunchi Cheekmate Liquid Blush
I haven’t quite experienced a liquid blush like this one until I used Crunchi’s blush. It looks so natural on the skin and dewy. I love that I can make it bolder or wear it subdued depending on what I’m feeling- it’s so buildable! I have all the colors and they all are good. I just dot the formula on my cheeks and then blend in with a foundation brush, but you could also use your fingers. I also love that the product is houses in a recyclable glass tube with a BPA-free, BPS-free, and phthalate-free plastic cap, wand, and wiper. They thought of it all!
8. Good Juju Shampoo & Conditioner Bar
Good Juju is the BEST shampoo bar. First, it’s so effective. It really does clean my hair so well and gives it a bouncy, fresh feeling. It also has a conditioner bar that you can get with it as well. I’ve found not all shampoo bars have that option and I love that Good Juju does. The brand also doesn’t just have one shampoo bar, but several kinds depending on hair type. So if you want something for curly hair they have an option, if you want something for normal hair they’ve got you covered and so on. It really makes switching to a shampoo bar that much easier!
10. Alpyn Beauty Superpeptide and Ghostberry Moisturizer
Another product winner from Alpyn Beauty! It really hydrates the skin and lasts. My skin doesn’t feel dry a couple hours later. It not only nourishes but also helps to plump the skin with 8 peptides! It also has Ghostberry which helps to calm redness and irritation. I’ve given it as a gift for all my very dry friends and family and they all have loved it as well. I like wearing it at night after I apply my serums for extra moisture. My skin feels perfectly hydrated in the morning and plump.
