Active Ingredients
- Hydrobounce
This is a proprietary active skincare complex that includes polyglutamic acid and rice bran peptides. These hydrating ingredients provide more hydration than regular hyaluronic acid and provide some plumping benefits as well.
- Squalane
Squalane is a lightweight, sugar-derived ingredient that locks in hydration.
- Indian Gooseberry Extract
Indian Gooseberry extract is rich in vitamin C and helps brighten, soften, and firm skin.
- Glycerin
Glycerin acts as a humectant so helps hold on to moisture and enhance absorption of other ingredients.
Color Shades Available
Saie offers 36 shades from very light to rich. I wear shade B335. If you’re unsure of your shade, you can use Saie’s shade finder to identify the shade that is most likely to be your perfect match.
Application
I found the best application for me was using pumping a few drops on my foundation brush and then applying to the skin. Less mess overall. But you could use your fingers to apply.
Coverage
It had good coverage- a medium coverage overall. It covered my redness from broken capillaries and evened out my skin tone. I found I could use less too for an understated look as well.
Finish
Very dewy and light.
Longevity
Not great. I think because the formula is based around it being a serum for the skin, the wear times fades throughout the day.
Price
$40
Review
The consistency of the Saie Foundation feels so nice going on the skin. It’s feels moisturizing and my skin feels dewy after applying it. As someone who has dry skin I didn’t feel like it dried my skin out or felt too matte for my skin either. I will say I wasn’t impressed with the longevity of the foundation. I would look at my skin by the end of the day and it didn’t look fresh like I was hoping it would. It was more of a worn in look. I tried it on different days too- seeing if weather played a role. No matter what day it still looked worn by the end of the day. Not my favorite foundation for that reason.
Final Thoughts
I love the feel and coverage. It really goes on so smoothly and I think it’s largely due to the serum-like quality of it. I just wish the longevity was longer.

Conclusion: Is Saie Beauty’s foundation worth it?
I think for some it might be worth it if they want a foundation to feel weightless and like a really great serum with some coverage and they don’t mind it fading a bit throughout the day. However, if you like a foundation that is more matte and has some longevity to it, it wouldn’t be my top pick. I haven’t had my mom try it yet, but I want her too. She loves a lightweight foundation and has dry, mature skin and I could see her benefiting from a foundation like this. She wouldn’t mind as much about the longevity.
