The Best Nontoxic Cookware

The Best Nontoxic Cookware

I finally rounded out the best nontoxic cookware!  I have received this question so much within the last 6 months that I knew I needed to write a blog post.  It’s crazy how many toxic chemicals can be lurking in cookware.  It might not seem like a big deal but over time these chemicals add up and produce a toxic load!

So What’s In The Average Pot or Pan?

I’m sure you’ve either used nonstick pots or pans or heard of them.  These pans may make it easy to cook your food with but unfortunately they carry dangerous toxic exposure as well!  Nontoxic cookware usually contains this chemical called perfluorooctanoic acid or PFOA.  Science has shown that it can stay in human bodies for long periods of time.   It has even shown to cause cancer in lab studies done on animals.

While cancer is nothing to bat an eye at, it also can cause infertility, liver damage, plus delayed development just to name a few other things.  Of course PFOA isn’t the only ingredient you want to avoid in your cookware.  Things like aluminum, plastic, lead, teflon, and cadmium.  These all pose a serious risk to our health and should be avoided.

When living out a natural lifestyle one of the foundations is cooking your food.  It’s no secret that when you cook your own food, you’re getting more nourishment usually then when going out.  However, if the cookware we constantly use is leaching out harmful toxins we may be doing ourselves a disservice.  As I mentioned earlier it’s the toxic load over time that really adds up.  These chemicals are literally getting into the food we’re eating and then absorbed by our bodies.

So What Is Safe?

There are some great options out there now when it comes to nontoxic cookware!  I will say some of the cookware definitely are a little pricier than non-stick- however the investment is worth it.  These pots and pans are going to last you a lot longer than many conventional pots and pans and won’t carry the toxic burden.

Favorites-

Cast Iron-

This was the first type of nontoxic cookware that I switched over too and I still love it.  It really has been around forever and that’s one of the reasons I love it.  It does take a little bit of time to get used to it but once you’ve worked with it you figure it out.  I really love the Lodge cast iron pans.  They’re easy to find at Target or you can order them on Amazon.  They’re also budget friendly!  I use this pan for cooking eggs,  meats, frying- really the list is endless. A couple tips when using cast iron.  Make sure and slowly add heat.  I found this works best instead of blasting the food with heat.  It helps to not burn food.  Cast iron retains heat very well.  Also, make sure you season it regularly. This helps to create a type of natural nonstick surface.  If you’re unsure how to season it, The Wellness Mama did a whole blog post on it here.  When you season a cast iron it’s basically adding a good oil to keep it hydrated and then baking it.  I avoid cooking acidic foods in cast iron because it can break down the seasoning or patina that’s been made on the cast iron.  Cleaning cast iron can seem intimidating at first, but it’s actually not.  You don’t want to use soap with cast iron- it can damage the seasoning and dry it out.  Instead, use some salt to clean it.  I just shake salt on top and then take a scrubby and scrub away.  Then rinse with water. Then you want to dry it and rub in a cooking oil. *The one caution I would make is that cast iron has been known to leach iron so if for some reason you have an abundance of iron you might want to switch up your pans every now and then.  I’ve been the opposite more anemic so I welcome all the iron I can get! Check out Lodge Cast Iron here!

Stainless Steel-

This is another option.  It is unique because it comes in many varieties and types.  In other words not all stainless steel is created equal. Stainless steel is made up of a combination of metals.  Some of the most common metals are chromium and nickel.  The chromium is what helps to protect against rusting and is nontoxic for the most part in the body.  Our bodies do need chromium in small amounts but it’s not that much and if you eat a fairly healthy diet you may already be getting more than you need.  Nickel on the other hand is used to give stainless steel that extra hardness and to give it that polished look.  However, it isn’t great for our bodies.  There is virtually no reason for us to consume nickel.  Your best bet is to buy food grade stainless steel.  When shopping you will see numbers like 200, 304, 316 and 430.  These numbers represent the series of stainless steel.  For example, a 300 series may corrode easier then a 400 series. Whereas a 400 series is going to be the strongest and have almost no nickel.  Of course the 400 series will cost more!  I wouldn’t buy anything less than a 304 for overall quality. You will also see numbers 18/8, 18/10 or 18/0. The first number represents the amount of chromium and the second number the amount of nickel.  It’s also important to not use harsh cleaners when cleaning stainless steel because it can cause damage to the lining. When the lining is damaged the heavy metals can leach into the food a lot easier.  Personally, although this option is safer than many I still prefer not to cook with it all the time because of the possible metal content leaching into food, especially if the food your cooking is acidic. Also, many stainless steel cookware has a layer of aluminum in between the stainless steel.  So it’s important to note that if your stainless steel was to get scratched you need to stop using it. You may also see copper sandwiched in the in-between layer as well.  They do this because both aluminum and copper are heat conductors.  From what I’ve read and researched since the aluminum isn’t coming into contact with the food and is protected by stainless steel it’s fine to have it in the cookware. *Some people already have high levels of heavy metals in their bodies and cooking with stainless steel wouldn’t be a good idea.  However, many people might be fine.  I know a lot of people who use it only for certain things and then other foods that might be more acidic they use different cookware.  One more important tidbit is that commercial kombucha is brewed in large stainless steel vats and since kombucha is acidic it is soaking up all those heavy metals. Even though it’s housed in glass it’s best to steer clear of  store bought kombucha and make your own at home. Check out this great set of stainless steel cookware here!

Xtrema

This has been my newest cookware option that I’ve started to use for the last several months and really have come to love!  It is different than both stainless steel and cast iron.  From the glaze on the cookware to the core it’s made with 100% ceramic.  Ceramic is awesome because it’s completely inert- meaning it won’t leach any harmful toxins.  All of Xtrema has been tested for heavy metal content and is free from glues, polymers, coatings and dyes. If you want to see their testing results check them out here.  Plus, it’s dish washer safe- something all the mamas can get behind! It heats very evenly too.  You can even take a dish from the fridge to the stove or oven- it’s very versatile. It also can withstand high temperatures.  It’s easy to clean Xtrema cookware too, just use warm soapy water.  You can also use baking soda or an abrasive scrubby if you need to.  The best way to heat an Xtrema is to turn the heat on low or low medium.  Since it’s so great at heat conduction you don’t need or want to crank the heat up to high.  Doing this would result in foods sticking or burning.  It’s best to turn the heat on a couple minutes before you start cooking and then add a little cooking oil once it’s heated.  I like avocado oil, ghee or coconut oil.  Don’t add the oil to a cold pan, wait until it’s heated up or it will cause foods to stick.  Personally, I love cooking with Xtrema!  I have their 8-inch Versa Braiser.  It’s nice because it has a lid and can be used for cooking meats, quiches, casseroles etc, but also can be used for cooking eggs with.  *Beware, there is a lot of deceptive marketing around ceramic cookware.  It may say ceramic but it is coated with a nonstick chemical.  The only company I’m aware of that is a true ceramic, with no additives is Xtrema.  Xtrema

Porcelain Enamel-

There has been a lot of confusion I’ve noticed about this type of cookware.  It is cast iron but then has been given a coating of enamel.  This enamel is a type of glass.  It is completely safe.  There has been some controversy about the enamel being made of clay and therefore having lead but from various tests performed on it, there has been no lead detection reported.  A common brand you may think of is Le Creuset.  Their cookware is made in France.  One might think that porcelain enamel is similar to cast iron and that is true but it does have it’s differences.  Porcelain Enamel will not rust where regular cast iron can if not seasoned properly.  Also, porcelain enamel won’t leach iron because of the coating, where cast iron will.  Porcelain enameled is also nice to have for acidic foods like chili or spaghetti sauces.  Acidic foods as I mentioned above can strip cast iron of it’s seasoning, especially when simmered for a long period of time.  For cleaning you can use some mild dish soap on it and a scrub pad of some kind.  For stubborn stains or food that’s stuck you can boil some water in it with a few tablespoons of baking soda.  Let it sit for a few hours or overnight.  *Personally I love having a porcelain enamel skillet on hand too.  It’s great for using with acidic foods or making stir frys, soups, or stews.  I would stick with Le Creuset.  To my knowledge they are the only ones that have been tested for lead content and come back negative.  The only small trace amounts that were found were on the outside of the lids and pots where there was some color but not inside.  Also, I’m a skeptic of things made in China as they have been known to have higher metal content and most of the other porcelain enameled is made there. Check out Porcelain Enamel cookware here!

Glass Cookware-

This is a great budget friendly option that’s available almost anywhere cookware is sold.  One of the most common glass cookware is called Pyrex.  It is inert, meaning it doesn’t add or take away from the food.  I have several casserole or baking dishes whatever you like to call them.  I use them for both casseroles and special desserts.  I also have a round glass dish with a lid that’s great for soups or stews that I use a lot.  For making breads I like to use a glass bread loaf pan too.  *Glass is a great option for those starting to detox their cookware and looking for accessible and budget friendly options.  I have even seen really good deals on Pyrex glass sets at Costco! Check out this Pyrex set here!  Check out this great set by Anchor Hocking here!

Bakeware-

When it comes to baking you can use a lot of the cookware I mentioned above but there are a few other options too.  For the ones mentioned above you can use cast iron to bake breads, or porcelain enamel for desserts such as crumbles, cobblers or pies.  Also, glass cookware is a great option for baking too, as well as stainless steel.  Stainless steel is especially nice for cookie sheets or cake pans! These are a great option for stainless steel cookie sheets! If you’re still concerned about the possible metal leakage just use some parchment paper.  I love this brand that doesn’t leach any toxic chemicals.  I use parchment paper when baking always because it makes clean up so much easier and is sometimes essential when making cakes.  You can also get stainless steel muffin trays.  Another option I haven’t talked about is stone cookware.  They have stone baking sheets, loaf pans and cake pans.  I personally haven’t used them.  I know that you have to be really careful when cleaning as you can’t use soap or get them wet.  They’re also heavier too. Rada is a good American made brand that is lead free.  *When it comes to bakeware think about what you use the most and swap that out first.  As I mentioned earlier, you can always buy some nontoxic parchment paper and use that as a protectant too.  I also like these nontoxic paper muffin liners.

I have never used silicone for cooking or baking other than some silicone muffin liners.  However, I stopped using them because I started to wonder if they were actually safe.  I had read a lot of information saying there just isn’t enough research out there yet and I agree.  Until more long term studies come out, I’m going to stick with using silicone when food isn’t heated or cooked.

I do think it’s important to switch out your cookware because this is something you use all the time and the accumulative affect is great.  Even if you could replace one item every quarter, by the end of the year you would have a whole new cookware set!

What nontoxic cookware option do you love?

Naturpedic Mattress Review

Naturpedic Mattress Review

So excited to finally share with you guys my Naturpedic mattress review!

*I was gifted my Naturpedic mattress from the company. However, thoughts and reviews are my own.

I had the pleasure of testing out the EOS Classic Organic King Size Mattress.  The specific one I received was the medium latex with plush coils.  My husband and I both prefer a soft mattress!  We had gone to a store that carried organic/natural mattresses in the Seattle area first before choosing our mattress.  We got to test out different types of Naturpedic mattresses.  In the end we knew we wanted the EOS Classic with medium latex and plush coils.  It was so soft and felt dreamy just laying on it in the store.  I couldn’t wait to start sleeping on it at home!

Naturpedic offers options for everyone in your family from baby, to child, all the way up to adult and something for every budget- which I appreciate!  You can customize the firmness too depending on what you want.  For ex. you can have it be firmer or softer on each side depending on what your partner and you want. My husband and I both chose the medium latex with plush coils but we could have each chosen a different option if we wanted.  If for some reason you weren’t happy with the firmness you can exchange it for a different option within 90 days– pretty cool!

I was first introduced to Naturpedic over 4 years ago when I was searching for an organic mattress for my baby girl.  At the time I hadn’t started to detox our bedroom yet and was learning all about the toxic load conventional mattresses can bring.  I ended up choosing their organic crib mattress for our daughter and have loved it.  Since they say we spend a 1/3 of our lives sleeping it’s important to consider the bed you’re sleeping on.  I remember finding it alarming to learn all about the toxic ingredients in mattresses!  From flame retardants, VOC’s, and formaldehyde- the toxic load can be scary.  Not too mention, mattress companies are not required to disclose all the chemicals they use in order to make their mattresses compliant with mattress regulations.  It’s also important to mention that many companies may claim to be organic, natural but actually have no certifications backing up these claims.

When I’m searching for a mattress I want to make sure it’s certified organic.  Then I know it’s met third party testing.  Look for the labels, GOTS, GOLS, and GREENGUARD.  Naturpedic meets all these certifications, plus so many more such as Formaldehyde Free Verified, OCS100 Organic Content Standard, Non-GMO verified, and Made Safe Verified.

You can read all about their certifications here!

Here’s a list of ingredients they avoid:

NO Flame Retardants or Flame Retardant Barriers
NO Memory Foam or other forms of Polyurethane Foam
NO Soybean or Biobased Foam (polyurethane foam with soybean oil mixed in)
NO Synthetic Latex Rubber
NO Harmful Glues or Adhesives
NO GMO Cotton or other GMO fibers
NO Shoddy Insulator Pads

Unboxing/Putting The Mattress Together-

When we received the Naturpedic mattress it came in several boxes.  I know sounds interesting to put the mattress together huh?  But it’s SO easy!  It comes in 4 boxes and there is a box that’s marked open me first with the instructions in it.  So you’re all set.  Then it walks you through the whole process step by step.  It was super easy to set up.  It comes with an encasement which essentially houses the mattress parts.  My hubs laid that out first on top of our bed.  Then we opened the box that had the coil support- one for each side of the bed since we have a king.  My hubs put those in.  Then we we opened the next box that had the 3 inch comfort layers and put those on top of the coils.  Then we zipped up the encasement and we were all set- easy peasy!  My hubs was even impressed with how simple the whole process was.

I have a video I posted to my stories of the whole process.  You can watch it below.

Our Thoughts-

Husband-

After having slept on it for almost 3 months I can honestly say we LOVE it!  My husband once a week tells me how much he loves the mattress- no joke!  He said it’s kept him feeling cooler in warm months- which says a lot since he tends to run warm.  He also likes how it feels soft but not too soft.  He went on a business trip and all I heard the whole time he was gone was how excited he was to come back home to his mattress!  He said he’s slept better- which I agree and I’m wondering if it has to do with not breathing in toxic fumes?  He has allergies and used to sneeze all the time at night- now he doesn’t!

Suzi-

I agree with my husband.  I feel so much cooler than I did with our last mattress.  It also feels supportive but not hard or too firm.  I also like how breathable everything feels.  I truly look forward to going to bed each night!  I love knowing we aren’t breathing in harmful fumes when we’re sleeping and our body isn’t absorbing toxic chemicals either.  It did have a faint smell when we first opened it.  But it wasn’t a chemical smell just a subtle unboxing smell in my opinion.  Once it was out for a day I didn’t smell anything.

My husband and I both can’t recommend this mattress enough!  Check out all that Naturpedic has to offer here!  Also check out their store finder to find a store near you! It really has exceeded our expectations and we are a hard sell!  I’m not getting compensated for this post, it is my opinions but my they did send my the mattress.  I also have a Naturpedic Baby organic baby mattress that I’ve had since my first daughter was born and we have loved it!  We’ve used it for both of our daughters and can’t recommend it enough.  Overall, our experience with Naturpedic has been amazing!

Budget Friendly Natural Products- To Splurge or Save

Budget Friendly Natural Products- To Splurge or Save

So I’ve got the lowdown on Budget Friendly Natural Products- To Splurge or Save is the question and I’m sharing it all!  I get asked a lot what are some budget friendly options for pretty much everything, so I thought I would make a list of top products to swap out and a splurge and save on each.  The goal is to get you to swap them out easily.  But I also don’t want you to feel like you’re going to go broke, here are some easy swaps to get you started!

Also, remember that this is a process and not something that needs to happen overnight.  That will only create stress and that’s not going to help anyone!  Take baby steps and do a little at a time.

To Splurge or Save:

My Top Picks-

Deodorant-

SPLURGE- $26 Agent Nateur- This deodorant works around the clock to deliver fresh underarms like no other deodorant I’ve used in green beauty- it’s the real deal and then some.  It never irritates my arms either even though it does have baking soda in it.  It smells like roses and not in the my grandma smells like rose perfume but in the chic cool way.  I can’t recommend this deodorant enough.  It is definitely a splurge but worth every penny!

SAVE- $7.99 Green Tidings All Natural Deodorant This is the first deodorant I tried in green beauty that worked.  I remember thinking, wow I still smell good in the evening!  It comes in lavender or unscented. I prefer lavender.  It doesn’t irritate my underarms either.  I also love that you can get it on Amazon- so convenient! You can get a 1 oz. stick for $7.99 or a 2.7 oz for $14.  A great buy for the amount of product you get!

Mask-

SPLURGE- $80 Mahalo The Bean Antioxidant Mask- This mask is what dreams are made of!  But really.  I remember noticing a difference after the first time I used it.  I know sounds crazy- but it’s true.  It lightens sun spots, and brings an overall brightness to my skin.  My redness is diminished as well.  It’s like a detox for your skin, while also giving your skin some nourishment. It’s spendy but you’ll love it after the first use!

SAVE- $30 Live Botanical Luna Rose and Honey Mask- I can’t not use this mask.  It’s in my routine nearly everyday.  My favorite way to use it is in the morning when I’m getting ready for the day.  I apply it right before I brush my teeth and then rinse it off once I’m done brushing them.  It gives my skin a serious glow and wakes me up.  I’m addicted!  I’m always shocked at the price too and the quality of ingredients!  You’ll love it- trust me!  Plus, with my 20% off coupon code you’ll save $6- so the mask ends up being $24!  Use Coupon Code: GURLGONEGREEN. Crazy awesome deal!

Liquid Foundation-

SPLURGE- $48 Crunchi Liquid Foundation- This foundation is SO good.  I’ve been using it for over a year now and can’t get enough.  One of the reasons I fell hard for it is because there isn’t any coconut oil in it.  Something that’s hard to find in green beauty.  Coconut oil can clog pores and I’ve found on some people it even causes them to breakout.  This foundation leaves my skin feeling even and fresh, but not overdone.  Plus, it has a sweet vanilla smell!

SAVE- $31.47- ZuZu Luxe Oil Free Liquid Foundation- This foundation is great for year round but especially in the warm summer months when you don’t want extra oil clogging those pores.  It glides on easily and gives a polished look but not too much where you’re wearing a full face of makeup.  Plus, at Pharmaca online you can usually get this for 20% off!  Pharmaca is always having a 20% off sale, which makes this around $25 instead!  Not too shabby.

Body Oil-

SPLURGE- $75 Max and Me Circle of Protection Body Oil- It’s a body oil, but it’s hard to even call it “just” a body oil.  It really is something so much more.  The ingredients include some of the best organic oils.  From argan, rosehip, marula and magnolia, just to name a few.  The oil is thicker in consistency but not greasy feeling at all.  It goes on smooth and doesn’t leave a weird residue.  Your skin feels perfectly hydrated and not wet feeling.  I have to tell you about the smell-so wonderful!  With notes of jasmine, geranium, and rose that literally awaken your senses and uplift you.  This would be an amazing gift for someone too!

SAVE- $13.97 Rosehip Seed Oil by Leven Rose This is actually one of the very first organic oils I ever bought when transitioning to green beauty.  It isn’t expensive yet it does the job and does it well.  My skin feels hydrated and not greasy.  Jojoba oil is such a great oil to use on the skin too, as it’s the closest oil to what your skin naturally produces.  What makes this jojoba oil great too is it’s cold pressed, so they’re not using heat to extract it, so the oil is left intact.  Better yet you can get it from Amazon!

Serum/Oil-

SPLURGE- $85 Maya Chia The Super Couple Serum- Love this oil.  The smell is so good, nothing over powering, just an amazing mixture of essential oils.  It just feels so luxe the moment you apply.  It’s not super heavy, but a nice medium rich feel.  It literally absorbs so well into the skin leaving behind a pinkish hue that gives your skin a glow. My skin drinks up every drop of this oil. It helped to lighten my hyper pigmentation and even my skin tone.  It also brightened my under eye mom circles- seriously.  I started using this when I had a 4 month old and lets just say I needed all the help I could get.  This oil is a game changer.

SAVE- $42 Live Botanical Clary Sage Calming Serum-  Yes, another Live Botanical product- that’s so good!  This serum is also an oil.  It really is filled with so many therapeutic oils that help promote cell turnover and calm the skin.  Great for those who have acne or have sensitive skin that wants to flare up.  I love the smell of this oil! I get hints of rose and chamomile, but it’s not overwhelming.  It’s not a super heavy feeling oil but a good medium texture.  I noticed improved skin clearness, the redness was minimized- especially around my t-zone.  I also noticed my skin felt so hydrated and smooth in the morning.  Like it had a big gulp of water. Plus, with my 20% off coupon code you’ll save $8.40- so the serum/oil ends up being $33.60! Use Coupon Code: GURLGONEGREEN. Amazing deal!

Body Wash-

SPLURGE- $18 for 9.5 oz. PLANT Apothecary-  I have to say after trying them all, my favorite scent is the Wake Up with Rosemary and lemon and the Get Happy, which is a geranium and peppermint scent.  I’m a sucker for anything mint as you guys know, and the Wake Up body wash with the Rosemary and Lemon is so refreshing.  They also have three other scents, so if the above doesn’t appeal to you, you might find something else that suits your fancy.  Now to the formula.  It’s foams up and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and not dry at all.  I’m seriously addicted guys! It’s like any body wash you would find at Bath and Body works but it’s not filled with crazy ingredients!

SAVE- $9.99 for 32 oz. Alaffia Everyday Shea Body Wash- This stuff comes in a large pump bottle and is perfect for getting everyone in your house clean!  It comes in different scents too.  I’m partial to vanilla mint, because duh mint and of course I can’t turn down vanilla either.  The shea in it leaves my skin moisturized without feeling dried out.  Plus, at Pharmaca online you can usually get this for 20% off!  Pharmaca is always having a 20% off sale, which makes this around $7.99 instead!  I mean, I’m no mathematician but that’s a steal!

Shampoo-

SPLURGE- $34 True Botanical’s Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner- This stuff is just the best!  If you’ve thought that no natural shampoo and conditioner will work for your hair, think again.  The shampoo suds up like a mainstream shampoo, but without the harsh chemicals.  The conditioner doesn’t leave that greasy oil residue…you know that feeling I’m talking about!  Need, I say more?  Not really, but I will because I just can’t help myself!  It smells insanely good, fresh like everything they make does.  They also come in recyclable metal bottle pumps, that literally look so luxe in the shower.  I promise you won’t be disappointed, this stuff is amazing and worth every penny, and that says a lot coming from a stylist.

SAVE- $17 100% Pure Kelp and Mint Shampoo and Conditioner- This shampoo works so well at cleaning my hair and really getting rid of the excess oil. It has a good suds to it and it smells minty fresh!  The conditioner also moisturizes but without the heavy weight.  I was so excited when I discovered this shampoo!  Plus, another find at Pharmaca!  You can save 20% again usually so this ends up being $13.60 a bottle- so good!

Blush-

SPLURGE- $56 Kjaer Weis Cream Blush- If you’ve followed me for a hot minute you know I’m obsessed with these blushes! The pigment is so good, the colors so vivid and it instantly makes you look awake.  They also come in the chicest silver carrying cases.  I love the colors Blossoming and Happy.  Initially they’re $56 but once you have a silver compact, the next time you run out all you have to buy is the insert- making it only $32.

SAVE- $25 Juice Beauty Cream Blush- I’ve been loving Juice Beauty’s Cream blushes lately!  They’re so easy to apply and instantly add some serious glow and color to my skin.  I have the colors Seashell and Flush and love them both.  Also, another Pharmaca purchase.  You can save 20% again usually so this ends up being $20 a blush- not bad!

BB Cream-

SPLURGE- $45 Suntegrity 5-in-1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen- This BB cream is so good!  It definitely hits all the marks for a great tinted sunscreen.  From superb coverage, hydration and good tint.  Plus, it offers a broad spectrum spf of 30.  It’s made with non-nano zinc oxide.  It also comes in four colors which makes it easy to find one that matches your skin tone.  It feels heavier than a traditional tinted moisturizer.  Trust me, you’ll love it!

SAVE- $28.99 Juice Beauty Organic BB Cream- This offers a little less coverage than the Suntegrity above but some people prefer that.  I like how this one still polishes my look and if I want more coverage in an area I can add some concealer wherever I want it.  My mom absolutely loves this tinted moisturizer!  She likes it because she says it doesn’t show her fine lines as much.  A lot of foundations she always complains the product settles in her fine lines.  This gives you some sun protection too with an SPF of 30.  It comes in 4 different shades.  I chose the Sand.  It feels really good on the skin- definitely hydrating.  A great option for spring and summer days but also for days when you’re not going anywhere and you just want some light coverage, plus sun protection.  Also, another Pharmaca purchase.  You can save 20% again usually so this ends up being $23.20- not bad!

Body Lotion-

SPLURGE- $47.00 Osmia Organics Body Mousse- This body mousse is straight up decadence!  Trust me, you’ll try it and never want to stop using it.  It feels like a whipped frosting going on your body.  So light and fluffy.  It melts into your skin the second it touches it and you’re left with the softest baby skin ever.  I’m warning you now though- you will be hooked! Love their Rosemary and Sandalwood scent.

SAVE- $11.99 ALL Good Body Lotion- I’ve fallen hard for ALL GOOD products!  They are affordable, have great ingredients and perform.  Their body lotion is no different.  Love that it comes in a tube that’s easy to use.  It feels rich in texture and keeps my skin soft and smooth.  Love their coconut scent!  A great buy for the whole family!
